Today I installed a new extension (Bitwarden) and want to add the icon to the toolbar. I can't find it anywhere. The add-on shows up in the add-on manager but there's nothing there to help me add the icon. The little puzzle piece in the upper right of the browser -- click on that and Bitwarden isn't listed.

How do I fix this? In Chrome there's a simple toggle switch in the extension manager to add the icon to the toolbar. Frankly, if I can't get this Bitwarden icon to display I can't use Firefox at all. Thanks.

Your instructions under "help" say to click on "Firefox" and click on "preferences". When I click on Firefox the menu does NOT have "Preferences" in it. What's up with that?? And how do I clear the cache and cookies?

About a week ago I started getting these update error messages stating "Update available - Firefox couldn't update automatically. Download the new version". I've also tried clicking "Learn more" on the error message but it's a dead link. Going into the settings for updates I am set to auto update, but when I manually check for updates it says "Failed to check for updates".

The help article on this issue simply tells you to download and manually reinstall Firefox, but I'm having to do this nearly every day. I work in IT myself so I know a "bandaid" workaround when I see one. Is there a solution to this issue?

I have a content filter to filter out inappropriate material. Included in the filter are filters for adult content on wikipedia, youtube,and google podcasts. however, all those sites are fully allowed on Firefox, as opposed to on Safari and google chrome where the filter is working properly

I am trying to have a biometric authorization with touch ID on Mac, and it says on the website that the option should pop up when i go to the password settings, but it doesn't, and I don't know how to do it otherwise, or if I should use an extension for example. My bookmarks disappear when I click on them or they don't open at all. - please see attached images - I've already cleared the cache and restored the bookmarks three times but everything remains the same. I copy the exactly same link to Chrome and everything is working, therefore, it has nothing to do with the possibility of the addresses being corrupted. Can someone help me on this one? My Firefox browser always shows nine icons for sites I regularly visit. That's nice. Lately, though, icons for sites I do not want keep popping up displacing ones I do. I delete them and get my favorites back but it's really annoying. Can you stop this?

One of the best things about Firefox is that i could use other fonts on the website and now I can't. Just stuck with this crappy one.. or tell me how to change it as I have tried..

FIrefox previously would list my favorite quick reference tabs in any open window. Now I have to open a new window or tab to get this option. Classic example of upgrades removing convenient features. Is this a setting that I cannot find?

onlinebanking.northwest.bank has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

Firefox no longer opens my previous session when re-opening the browser. "Open previous windows and tabs" is checked in the general of browser settings, but no longer performs a such. Was never an issue until a few days ago.

Hello. I'm using Firefox 119 for MAC OS. However my device is labeled as Windows 10 Firefox. I don't have any Windows software labeled anywhere. I have signed out, restarted device and still no change. When I log into a website from Firefox, my "authorized device" is recognized as Windows Firefox.

With the latest update domain guessing is no longer working. I like just typing the name of the website and having Firefox add the prefix (https) and suffix (.com, org, etc. so I can move aorund the web just a little faster. The setting I used to turn it on is no longer in the about:config menu. Is there a way to get this back? For example, I was able to type in Amazon and the amazon.com website would automatically open in the tab. Now I get this
