I downloaded an emailed PDF, then saved it to a folder on my windows PC. The image includes the bookmarks, even when I turned off "show sidebars." How can I have only the original page I want without bookmarks?

Every time I connect my account on another device to sync up, it totally resets extensions and new tab shortcuts on ALL of my devices. It keeps my bookmarks, theme and what extensions are installed, but again all of my new tab shortcuts and my extension are reset, which is a pain in the rear for extensions like NoScript and taking the time to rebuild all of the new tab shortcuts.

Is there any way to set a device as the primary to push out to others or download those settings to avoid having to set them up again?

All of a sudden, Firefox v. 110.0.1 won't open on my MacBook Air running OS 10.15.7. When I open it, it immediately closes with the message "Firefox quit unexpectedly." In the report to Apple, I get the "problem details" info below. I would like to fix this, since all of my bookmarks and saved passwords are in that version of Firefox. Thank you.

I have a feeling I know the answer, but wanted to confirm. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to reset my PC. Upon doing that and downloading Firefox all of my data is gone. Bookmarks, saved logins, etc. all gone. I thought once I logged into my Firefox account everything would be there. I've logged into my account on other computers in the past and all my stuff was there but not this time. Now it's saying all of my stuff (profiles, etc) was created today. Is my stuff really gone forever? I thought the whole point of the Firefox account was so I could just login and have everything sync.

Firefox won't reload tab when NoScripts running. This didn't happen until I went to version 11.4.18 of NoScripts and Version 111.0 of Firefox (both at same time). All 8 tabs load when I initially start FF 111.0. All tabs reload with no problems when I initially start or restart FF with Noscripts active. It is only after FF been running for an hour or so that tabs stop reloading. I do have another addon running called tab reloader. Addon tab reloader and the FF reload icon both stop working after FF runs for awhile. You will see the web page name in bottom left corner of screen and an hour class on tab. Stop NoScripts, the hour class goes away and all tabs reload, both with the FF tab reload icon and the tab reloader addon.

I thought it might be the tab reloader addon, so I set 8 tabs to reload every 10 seconds for awhile, just a couple minutes. NoScripts was running. This didn't cause a problem, everything was reloading. So I set tab reloader back to reload 8 tabs every hour, No scripts still active.

Come back in a little over an hour and the FF tab reload isn't working as described earlier. Stop NoScripts and tabs finish reloading.

Now is this a Noscript 11.4.18 or FF 111.0 issue, I did both at same time. Prior to that I was on FF 110.0.1. Currently running Windows 10 64 bit, haven't done the March update as nothing much there. All was fine until FF and NoScript update. All is fine until FF runs for awhile. For now I just turned NoScripts off.

keywords: firefox (111.0 (64-bit)) issue/ bookmarking/ ubuntu. hi, before this version, when i drag a link from the tab link bar, to a bookmark folder, it names the link properly using information from the site (link). eg. a youtube page link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2v-gvRxmINg before, when dragged to bookmark, it is named as the video name: 8 Reasons to QUIT CHROME and USE BRAVE Instead! . this helpful to know what the bookmark.

but now, the name is simply the link, ie, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2v-gvRxmINg. this is a terrible name.

not sure whether this is the right place for this. this is either a bug or a "new" feature that i have to configure manually the behavior of bookmarking.

I've been using Firefox for many years. I Like it. I have used the History and History's Search function quite a few times. I normally always had Firefox find an update but ask me to install. I did those. I now have v110.0.1 installed. I did that last week after I stupidly screwed something up to do with permissions on folders. Everything seems okay now, all are fixed (all my other programs work fine now) except that in Firefox History (Ctrl+Shift+H) I can only ever see "Today" under the "History" category. I can browse, bookmark, etc. just fine. I suppose there is some setting somewhere that I've messed up but I cannot find it. Can you help me such that it shows "Last x Days", months older, etc. ? BTW I also tried mozillaistoryview.exe and it also only shows "today". Nothing in my system has changed for about a week but I browse every day. Thanks.

BTW I'm on Win10_Pro/64 whichever build/update is current.

My Firefox does not ope any wensite. It shows just error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR. I found a few solutions in Internet, but it doesn't help. I tried to reset Firefox, install new version, create new profile and etc. It does not help. Please help me to solve my problem

All new tabs give me a cursor in the ADDRESS BAR. This is unacceptable. There is a nice search window in the middle of the page, but the cursor never goes there. It appears in the ADDRESS BAR. I did the about:config handoff crap and it was crap. Is there a FIX? If so, what is it? If not, I'm using edge.

I use Firefox to access Facebook live, from which I live stream. Starting in the last few weeks (I don't know when exactly, sorry), I now get this error message (in the stream Event log) when I stream:

Too low key frame rate (currently 0.13 key frames/second; recommended minimum 0.25 )

And I get a separate warning from Facebook that the key frame rate is too low, and will result in poor video quality.

If I stream from Chrome, I don't get the error (but Chrome has other problems), so I think it must be related to Firefox. Is there anything I can do about it? Thanks.

in firefox windows: I don't know the technical terms for this, so don't assume I'm using "reload" correctly - or anything else. every time i switch back and forth between tabs, the tab i return to suddenly goes blank and reloads. It can take 1-15 seconds every time I switch tabs, but sometimes I can switch back and the tab is the same as I left it without blinking out and into existence. On certain sites, this makes whatever I was reading get lost in the feed, but it's always distracting and frustrating. I work fast between lots and lots of tabs and this eats a lot of time and makes me lose focus, and adds massive friction to my workflow. How do i make it keep tabs loaded and looking as they did when i switched out of them, instead of pretending I just typed in the url and loading that from scratch every time? I'm not the best with technical terms if anybody knows this can you explain it like I'm five please? bold textLinux Instance runnning in AWS locks up with firefox version higher than 78. Cyberark does use Xming aplication brokering. I logon to linux instance and type firefox and the page will lockup and I can't type anything in the browser. I have tried different options listed under your support page and ran many search related X11 slowness with firefox and nothing fixes the issue. Is there a bug with a specific version of Xming when using firefox? I have tried shutting down any McAfee services and the following options. Uncheck hardware acceleration about:config gfx.webrender.all set to true, browser.session.restore_on_demand to false, browser.session.restore_tabs_lazily to false and the browser does not lock, but once enter the web page it locks up.

Example when I use Red Hat Satellite , it locks up and had to kill the firefox process . When I add the options above I can get into the web page like satellite, logon etc. but then it locks. I need fire fox to work on a cloud instance that does use Xming since that is what CyberArk has. The python script that use gui doesn't work.

for some time now im having problems with your site, works ok then slows down click on a link and nothing i then go into safari and i have no problem if you can not rectify my problem i will start using Safari instead, had this problem now for sometime

Is there a simple method to turn off the annoying popup notifications about upgrading Firefox? I don't want to upgrade, FF seems to be working fine. Sometimes updates bring new problems.

I'm not a programmer, so I'm hoping there is a simple fix to stop update notices. I think it was a bad idea to have them appear in front of other websites. They often popup when I'm watching something on Netflix.

If I close developer tools while execution is paused, from F8 or by hitting a breakpoint, I can't find a way to resume the execution (with F8, F9, or by re-opening developer tools). Additionally the Threads section on the right is missing. Is there a way to resume the main thread?
