Hi,

Any suggestions for Firefox being really slow? Slow loading webpages. This has been going on for about a month. Maybe longer. I have the same issue in Troubleshoooting mode. Firefox is updated. Cleared cache and cookies. Rebooted. On a Mac laptop.

I keep using Safari and I'm about to more over permanently.

When I access a specific website the .css files hosted at http://cdn.ct-static.com/ don't load. The Network Tool console indicates that they time out. I have been told this is usually a network setup issue however if I use the MS edge browser the site loads. How do I troubleshoot this?

Yes, I'd like to use the same account on both of my profiles.

I understand that for some users, this may be confusing.

In my case, the only reason for different profiles is that I need to use a Proxy Server for some websites, and no proxy for other websites. Manually switching proxy settings is painful, and doing so causes traffic for my other tabs/windows to go to the proxy, which I do not want.

I have a main (set of) windows (and its tabs) going straight to the internet, then I have a separate window (and its tabs) configured to go through a proxy (SOCKS5 in this case). I want all other settings, bookmarks, passwords, etc. to be identical to both. I end up having to logout of my main profile, log into the other profile to sync settings, log out of there, and log back into my main profile.

Is there a valid technical reason why an account on the same FireFox installation cannot be shared between two profiles?

I can do this on multiple computers (same account, different computers/profile), seems odd it is restricted to not allow on the same computer.

I have an alternative solution: Install FireFox natively, then install FireFox as AUR or FlatPak, but not sure this will collide as this both uses the same profile directory. Hum...

I'm trying to use an old Apple Powerbook as my 2015 MacBook Pro just died. I use Firefox as my browser on my PowerBook, and it is asking me to enter my old phone number and is not accepting my new phone number.

I haven't been able to find a keyboard shortcut for switching between FF windows. I'm using MacOS Tahoe. Is this in development, or is it there and I just haven't been able to find it.

I have 3 devices connected to Mozilla account, 2 smartphones and 1 PC and NONE of them are syncing properly, bookmarks sync perfectly and everything else fails miserably. Some part of history does sync but nowhere near the full history. Syncing of open tabs is *completely* broken.

I opened a profile that I had just used recently to a blank tab bar. I closed it and the sessionstore-backup folder did not have a recent backup, The most recent about a week old.

Just for testing, I tried to restore with one of the upgrade.jsonlz4 file, about 2 weeks old, but it also had no session. I then restored one that was 2 months old. That one had a session

Now, Firefox no longer generates the upgrade.jsonlz4 files

I have been using Firefox as my default browser for years on all my computers. I have a computer at work and one at home. My home laptop has for some time now been telling me that AI search results are "not available right now, try again later". Initially I thought this was transient, however it has not changed. I have tried to find a setting either in firefox or google that has changed but I cannot. My other laptop works just fine with AI searches on google. Firefox version 145.0 in Linux Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS. When I open Firefox all tabs from previous session are gone. On "Startup" I have checked "Open previous windows and tabs". Which worked before but not now. It is very frustrating. How do I fix? The Profile Manager opens the settings and "Open previous windows and tabs" is checked. Checking "ask before closing multiple tabs" doesn't help.

I had so many instances of firefox and tabs that i decided i must organize them on tabgroups, i read they were secure enough and would be restored along with open tabs on new session. But after restarting all my "close and save" tab groups are missing! are they still saved? how can i recover them?
