I have the latest Mozilla browser. I have Yahoo Mail and each time I open an email from Kohls.com, the images appear for a split second and then disappear and are replaced by a white box with a little symbol in the upper left corner. This only happens to about half of the images in the email. If I open the email in a separate tab, the email appears normal. This only occurs in Firefox, not in Edge nor Chrome. I have used aI to check all of my security settings and nothing is wrong with them, it is just something of how Firefox renders the Kohls.com emails. They are the only emails that act this way. Please help!

For the last several weeks, one of my computers when it updated to the new settings menu (version 156ish?), it has lost the ability to maintain some of the synced profile settings. For example, I have a couple websites that I list in the exceptions to not have Firefox clear the cookies, and I additionally have the clear cookies and site data check box enabled so that every other website I visit clears upon exiting. This is the setting combination I have utilized for years to keep the cookies from only 2 websites and clear out everything else.

On one of my computers, I'm able to add the exception, and as long as I do not close Firefox, the website exception settings stick. However, as soon as I exit Firefox, and open it back up, the settings clear themselves again, and I have to manually enter the exceptions again. This is very frustrating because one of the sites that I keep the cookies on the exception list has multiple different logins saved so that I don't have to manually re-login to every time I open Firefox.

I have attempted a refresh, and that did not fix the problem. I have fully uninstalled Firefox, manually deleted the %APPDATA%\Mozilla\ folder contents, reinstalled foxfire and this too does not fix the problem.

The weirdest part of this whole issue is my laptop, does not have this problem and the exceptions are sticking so I know that this setting combo works. Additionally, I have tried unchecking the clear cookies and site data box and this too is not allowing the exceptions to stick.

I have also tried re-syncing my account to pull the settings from my laptop and this too is not working.

This experience is on Firefox 157.0.1 (64-bit), Windows 11 Pro 26H2

A colleague of mine had Firefox logged in with a Mozilla account, before their computer needed to be reset, we checked and Firefox said Synchronisation was on and last succeeded 1 second ago. We proceeded to undertake the reset, but after logging back into the same Mozilla account, none of the bookmarks returned, nor did any saved addresses, passwords or browser history.

I was wondering if there is absolutely anything that we can do, or whether someone at Mozilla are able to check the account just in case?

I'm fearing the worst, and partially expecting it, but wanted to log here for sanity's sake, just in case.

Ever since the last Firefox update (on October 30th for me), the text on my inactive tabs has been painfully blurry (picture attached). I previously restored Firefox to default and seemed to have pinpointed a certain extension as the culprit, as well as a file within the profile named addonStartup.json.lz4. Deleting both seemed to have done the trick. However, my issue is now back, I can't find the previous file anywhere in the profile, deleting all the files in the profile that were created on the day when the problem reoccured doesn't fix it either. So I'm kind of at a loss. I have tried to set "gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.force_gdi_classic_for_families" to "Arial,Consolas,Courier New,Microsoft Sans Serif,Segoe UI,Tahoma,Trebuchet MS,Verdana" and "gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.force_gdi_classic_max_size" to 15 in about:config ; as this is an old fix I've seen for an older similar problem, to no avail.

Ich wollte die Beihilfestelle beim Landesamt für Finanzen aufrufen. Das ist leider nicht möglich. Könnte es sein, dass es einen Zusammenhang gibt damit , dass ich vor ein paar Tagen ein Antivirusprogramm von Avast heruntergeladen habe, nachdem ich seit Monaten dazu von Avast genötigt wurde, da mein Laptop angeblich schwere Probleme aufweisen würde. Beim Online-Banking hatte ich vor Wochen ein ähnliches Problem (das war allerdings noch vor dem Herunterladen dieses Antivirusprogramms), dass meine Zahlungen nicht verifiziert werden konnten. Nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Service der Bank sagte man mir, dass ich einen anderen Browser benutzen solle, da Firefox angeblich Sicherheitslücken aufweisen würde.

I’ve noticed that Firefox can sometimes behave differently when opening websites that contain a lot of embedded media, scripts, or download-related information.

I was testing this with a site called BeeTVHub (https://beetvhub.com/) and wanted to know whether there are any Firefox settings, privacy protections, or extensions that commonly cause parts of a website to load incorrectly.

For example, are there particular settings I should check if a page loads normally in another browser but some content doesn't appear correctly in Firefox?

I’m mainly interested in understanding whether this is expected Firefox behavior or something specific to the website.

On Windows I have my bookmarks arranged in folders. On Android each folder appears multiple times, with different numbers of bookmarks. I have re-installed Firefox on my phone. I had trouble syncing so I have exported from my PC as an HTML file, copied that to my phone and imported into Firefox. At the end, when I display bookmarks it's the same as before: see attached picture.

If I have 800mg to 1tb of browsing data it can sometimes take up to two minutes for the system to calculate and clear the data. Is this just for my system? Can you find a way to accomplish this faster? Thanks.

Be careful. Something doesn’t look right.

Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with mail.pgsolusi.com. Someone pretending to be the site could try to steal things like credit card info, passwords, or emails.

mail.pgsolusi.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

I always have Youtube playing in the background while I'm online, whether I'm playing games or browsing in different tabs. Usually after a video is done it autoplays the next one in Picture-in-Picture mode, but for the past week or so it has stopped. If I'm browsing in a different tab or playing a game in a different window I have to switch back to Youtube to put it back. I have 'Keep playing videos in Picture-in-Picture when switching tabs' turned on. I've tried turning autoplay permissions as well as autoplay on Youtube off and on again and none of that worked. I've also tried using both the Picture-in-Picture button next to the site link and the Picture-and-Picture button on the video itself. Please help! This has been very inconvenient. It interrupts my focus and sours my mood when I'm constantly having to re-open Youtube to continue watching videos.

Ever since the last update, I can no longer watch recordings on xfinity stream with Firefox. What happened? Can I fix it? I sometimes have to start watching programs late, but they wont play while recording. I can watch those same recordings when they are finished, but not while they are still recording. I can watch those same recordings while recording on Chrome and Safari so it's not an xfinity problem. But for some reason not on Firefox anymore Is there a setting I need to change? Thanks Ron

Sorry if this is addressed elsewhere but I could not find it. After a recent update Firefox (Windows 11) started each website file download (mostly pdfs) at the Downloads folder. Previously, it would start at the most recent folder to which I downloaded a file. Since nearly all of my downloads are in a few neighboring folders way down the folder tree, I now have a ton of navigating to do for every single download. This is not sustainable. I have done a lot of Googling and investigated several suggested changes to about:config. I changed browser.download.folderList from 1 to 2. I made sure that browser.download.useDownloadDir is false. No effect. Any other suggestions? I am considering abandoning Firefox altogether. It has issues with some parts of the Medicare website. And an earlier update seemingly eliminated my ability to set a particular web page (Google) for new tabs, due to which I often wait a while for the page to appear, then realize I must click on Home. I like Firefox , but too many issues are accumulating and I can't seem to find solutions. Thanks for any help.

My Firefox VPN is still showing as nearing my limit, despite it now being October everywhere in the world. Why hasn't it reset to 50GB? I've tried restarting Firefox and it didn't make any difference. It still shows "Getting close to your VPN limit. You have 2.2GB of 50GB left this month."

Does FF have a maximum number of windows / tabs that can be open at one time? I use 12 workspaces each with multiple windows / tabs in them, roughly guessing ~100 windows and ~8-50 tabs per window

FF randomly hangs / crashes 1-3 times a day for me and has been for some time (over multiple revisions of FF; currently 157.0.1) requiring restarting FF

System: Large workstation, 128G memory, i9-7920x (12c / 24T) Linux, OpenSuSE Leap 15.6 FF source from FF repos, not OpenSuSE

Any settings I need to change to prevent the crashes?

After close and reopen Firefox on Win 11, Dowload Folder displayed on file Save As changes to a different folder, not the one in settings. Repeatedly changed setting back and forth with the same resultl

This is more two minor requests than a question.

1. 1 When you have 2-3 Widgets, it should centre them for better visualisation.
2. 2 It would be nice to add multiple widgets for separate lists
3. 3 Would also be good to sync lists

I wasn't sure if there is a better place to post these suggestions. Happy to repost if someone lets me know the right place.

Whenever I watch videos using Firefox going to Youtube sometimes bugs out like the loading takes forever. Like the video is playing and yet the surrounding of it is just pitched black, and once it load properly the video will stop and the whole site will finally be done loading and goes back playing the video.

I've tried other browser it doesnt seem to be affecting only Firefox can someone looked into this. Cause it definitely not my internet.
