Firefox keeps crashing/hanging on startup. Any other browser I use is fine. Been using Firefox for years and would like to keep using it. This has been going on since August, so I have not really been using it since then. Tried all the troubleshoot steps that Mozilla recommends but still crashing e.g reinstall, fresh install.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your excellent service and the recent update introducing the integrated VPN feature.

I am writing on behalf of myself and many users residing in Iran. As you are likely aware, our internet environment is severely restricted, with all major social media platforms and communication services being heavily filtered. Accessing the open internet is virtually impossible without a reliable VPN.

In light of these conditions, I kindly request that you consider increasing the current 50 GB monthly limit, if feasible. Even a temporary increase for users in Iran would be immensely appreciated and would significantly assist us in staying connected.

I dont want this profile feature at all it's a complete and total nuisance so I deleted the only profile it had for me but now everything but my bookmarks are gone and I need my settings restored. How do I completely disable this nuisance so I never have to see this annoying color bar in my application menu again? All my settings are destroyed now.

Hello, I'm having trouble using the built in VPN, once I press on it and do everything (connect with my account etc) it doesn't let me use it, it still tells me to do everything again. I was wondering how I could fix this issue and use it.

When I try to attach several (more than three) small email sized jpeg files, my Yahoo email tries to load them, then re-load them, and ultimately gives a splash screen, that says, "Cannot be saved, as a draft", and locks up. The files are 1mb, or less, This was never a problem, before Firefox, and Yahoo issued "new, improved" versions, of their software. If I only attach about three files, at a time, let it attach them, then attach more files, it will attach them with no issue, and I can send the email. This does not seem to be a problem with other browsers.

There doesn't seem to be an "Other " or "Additional Options" category, so if Settings isn't in the correct category, please tell me where to post this. TIA

I want to be able to create multiple default 'pinned" tabs that will appear every time I open up a new window. Is that possible? If so, how? Again, TIA

Before the last update, I’m using version 157.0 now, it was possible to simply move a complete Firefox tab using drag-and-drop. I frequently used this feature in a multi-monitor setup. While it is still possible via a right-click and the "Move Tab" option, that takes more effort than simply clicking and dragging.

Is that just switched off and hidden in some options, and really no longer possible?

The new 157 release broke something when pasting a webpage into OneNote.

In 157, only the top web address is pasted: (web page text and images) From <https://earthsky.org>

Having the entire URL to the actual pasted page saved a step. Now I have to copy the address out of the address bar and copy it to OneNote manually.

Reduce the width of the form and then open the top menu bar, or trigger and display the menu bar. The maximize and close buttons on the top right side will not be fully displayed. You can refer to the GIF animation below.

For the last several weeks, one of my computers when it updated to the new settings menu (version 156ish?), it has lost the ability to maintain some of the synced profile settings. For example, I have a couple websites that I list in the exceptions to not have Firefox clear the cookies, and I additionally have the clear cookies and site data check box enabled so that every other website I visit clears upon exiting. This is the setting combination I have utilized for years to keep the cookies from only 2 websites and clear out everything else.

On one of my computers, I'm able to add the exception, and as long as I do not close Firefox, the website exception settings stick. However, as soon as I exit Firefox, and open it back up, the settings clear themselves again, and I have to manually enter the exceptions again. This is very frustrating because one of the sites that I keep the cookies on the exception list has multiple different logins saved so that I don't have to manually re-login to every time I open Firefox.

I have attempted a refresh, and that did not fix the problem. I have fully uninstalled Firefox, manually deleted the %APPDATA%\Mozilla\ folder contents, reinstalled foxfire and this too does not fix the problem.

The weirdest part of this whole issue is my laptop, does not have this problem and the exceptions are sticking so I know that this setting combo works. Additionally, I have tried unchecking the clear cookies and site data box and this too is not allowing the exceptions to stick.

I have also tried re-syncing my account to pull the settings from my laptop and this too is not working.

This experience is on Firefox 157.0.1 (64-bit), Windows 11 Pro 26H2

Greetings, I am on the spectrum with aspergers. I have issues with organization, lining up objects, etc, but I am highly intelligent and present well. I have no doubt society is aware of all the tropes that surround folks with my......difference. I have an incredibly hard dealing with change, and it sometimes wrecks my mental health. The changes are constantly throwing my health and welfare for a loop, and it is really harmful.

Everytime I get firefox setup to where I am comfortable, something new gets shoved down my throat. How to stop the constant feature change diarrhea abuse is inflicting on my health? Recent example. I only use 2 search engines, and I cant deal with the rest, its a colour thing sorry. I have had my search engines set up like this for 14 years.

Recently, firefox decided that I should go for another life rollercoaster, even though I didn't ask for it, and that I should permanently have things like history bookmarks tabs and actions as search engines, and they shouldn't be removable.

I don't have a history, as I value my privacy. I don't have bookmarks, because I remember everything and it sucks, and I type about 350 wpm. Tabs information is within history, so I see firefox as duplication idiots in this case, and I don't do any actions, not even sure what they are and I really don't care at all.

My parents are considering a lawsuit against firefox for accessibility issues like this, as 1 of my dad's best friends is an accessibility lawyer.

How can i stop firefox from constantly flipping my autism world upside down? I don't want my parents to sue them because it will bring a lot of attention on me.

Please help me re-normalize the internet for spectrum users.
