I have used FireFox for years now and I am happy but... yesterday after I synced my info across two computers and my Android phone, suddenly my wallpaper selection on my laptop disappeared.

I had a photograph and instead of seeing it? I have a white background and the photographer's name who took the photo but the photo is no longer showing as my wallpaper..

BUT I went to edit the wallpaper and selected a color but it doesnt appear. no item I select from the menu of wallpaper items actually appears on my browser

Please help if you can! Firefox on my other computer is working fine in this regard and this one WAS working fine until yesterday after I synced the devices.

thanks, Keith

When trying to enter a full screen mode pressing modkey + f or F11 buttons my screen is cut in the upper part. The resolution of my pc is 1600x900 however my browser, after entering into a full screen mode, turns the resolution in 1600x917 and I do not understand why it automatically assigns this resolution. I have tried turning off the fingerprint option but it did not help. My os is x64 linuxm distro is the arch linux, and I use the awesome window manager. I tried using the Librewolf and I had the same problem when entering the full screen mode. I've set the linux recently so I guess I have no settings that could have potentially be the cause of the problem.

Web pages that are supposed to contain emojis are blank. I can highlight where emojis are supposed to be shown but the actual images of the emojis aren't there. about:config font.name-list.emoji correctly contains "Apple Color Emoji" If it is relevant, this has been a bug/issue that has persisted for a couple of months now (can't name an exact date).

I finally got the search field and the address field on the same line. However, the search field is on the left and I would like it on the right. When I "customize toolbar" and manually switch the fields, it does not seem to reverse them subsequently (after I enter "Done").

What am I missing here?

Thanks as always to you good folks who will share your suggestions with this low-tech guy.

I continue to have issues with web site appearance. Whether I select "automatic" or off for "contrast control" previously visited links are turned purple. If I try "custom"’ for ‘Firefox’ nothing else seems to stay like I need it to be. I do not have this issue when I use Chrome.

Hi Mozilla Community,

I am running Firefox on Windows 11 and I'm encountering a strange issue regarding the UI updates.

The Issue: My Firefox browser updates automatically to the latest version. However, my Default Profile is visually stuck on the old UI design. It does not reflect the recent interface changes associated with the update.

The Troubleshooting Context:

  • I have verified that the browser itself is technically updated (via Help > About Firefox).
  • The strange part: I have other Firefox profiles on this same machine. When I launch those profiles, they correctly display the new, updated UI.
  • This issue is isolated strictly to my main/default profile.

Has anyone experienced this mismatch where the version number is correct, but the UI fails to refresh on a specific profile? Is there a specific fix for this?

Thanks in advance for the help.
