When I try to log into Tangerine bank I get the error. "We're sorry for the inconvenience. This function is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

This issue started Oct-13-2025 and it appears to work when using Firefox ESR 146.01 but not the regular Firefox 146.01 versions. Tangerine is not giving me information on the error and I was wondering if there is a difference between the ESR and regular version that might clear up this issue?

I use Firefox app in macos, android and ipados. The bookmarks across them are not synching automatically. I need to press sync manuelly to do. All apps are updated, all settings look fine. Please help me synch bookmarks across platforms. Thanks a lot.

Firefox will only start if I sign in as an administrator. It doesn't connect to the internet, and I can't get to the help screen. I did a refresh but that hasn't help. If I uninstall and then reinstall a new copy correct the problem? How do I save and reinstall my bookmarks and settings? I love Firefox and prefer it over other browsers. But I need to fix it and any help you provide will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

I use a Lenovo desktop computer that I have used along with the Firefox browser for about 3 years and never had any problems until now. For the past two days it takes up to a couple of minutes to for the Firefox browser to open a page. While the page is loading, I get at the bottom right corner of the screen "performing a TLS handshake." I vaguely understand this terminology but am not an expert on the subject. This "handshake" repeatedly occurs with all sites that I open daily with the Firefox browser. The pages usually open within a couple of seconds. Now it takes minutes and sometimes doesn't open at all. I have difficulty opening even the Firefox home page and when it finally opens, it is incomplete? Do you have any suggestions that might help me?

I must add that the internet connection from my provider, Eastlink, located in Nova Scotia, Canada, is by Ookla tests very slow, ranging from 40 to 55bps instead of the regular150bps or higher. I don't know if the problem is with my desktop or with the provider and the provider has not responded to my telephone request with any information that explain where is the source of the slow internet speed problem.

While testing the new profiles option with Firefox after loading containers while having Surf-shark VPN on my computer stop accessing websites. The conflict was resolved by reloading surf shark and then while attempting to remove new profiles not being used I deleted the original homepage/profile. Over 10yrs of bookmarks, passwords, and numerous pieces of data have been lost. I need that original Firefox homepage user account for my computer restored.

Sometimes, I cannot click on an option on a form (on my up-to-date Firefox, on Windows 11 - help, please! Its usually only when the options are shown as little buttons or squares to tick off. Its not my mouse because it works for the usual mouse works.

I can't enter the tick/click necessary on this form to say "Email me when someone answers this thread" Cheers, Carol

The recent update changed how the mute button works in Firefox, before it would replace the icon and would show text and whatnot if it was muted or wanted to autoplay; now it just always shows the mute/unmute button in a tab playing audio. This would normally be fine but it is causing my tabs to constantly be shrinking and expanding whenever the audio changes in a tab, and it's really frustrating me and it feels like an overall far worse user interface design than it was before, even if people were complaining about it. Is there some sort of middle ground where I can set a maximum tab size or something? I know this used to be a feature in about:config but it doesn't exist anymore for some reason. I've also tried using a userChrome CSS code for it that I found online; it got rid of the button but it still made the tab size change and the code I tried using for maximum tab size also didn't affect that. Really starting to frustrate me! Please give me any advice I feel like I've exhausted all my options lol

When using vertical tabs layout with "expand sidebar on hover" setting enabled, sidebar scrolls up with each expansion, so that when hovering over a certain tab of collapsed sidebar, another open tab is under the mouse pointer when expanded. For additional details please refer to the attached video.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable vertical tabs layout with "expand sidebar on hover" setting 2. Open a lot of tabs 3. Hover over a certain tab

Observed result: The sidebar expands with mouse over another tab and the list of tabs scrolled up.

Expected result: The sidebar expands and mouse pointer is hovering over the same tab after expansion from collapsed state.

In the last few weeks, i cannot read my iCloud emails. It says things like"message cannot be downloaded now" or "cannot move to trash now", so the only way I can consistently read my emails, is to switch to my Google browser, which has absolutely no problem with the iCloud emails Why would this be happening?

Using firefox 148, when I select the "CIRA Canadian shield" DNS over HTTPS option it does not work. If I select the other 2 options Cloudflare or NextDNS those options work.

What is the problem with DOH for CIRA option ?

I use Firefox on a Mac to access Brightspace for my classes. I also use Grammarly. When copying text from the Grammarly widgets and pasting it into the Brightspace HTML editor, the text is stripped of hard returns, causing paragraphs to collapse without any breaks between them.

I have tried pasting as unformatted text, and the issue persists. This issue does not occur in Chrome, so I suspect it is due to how Firefox handles clipboard data. I have not found a workaround or resolution for this.

I have 18 shortcuts that I have added to the Firefox desktop, but every time I open a new link, a shortcut is added to the desktop. How do I keep these unwanted shortcuts from being added to my Firefox desktop?

I have left Shortcuts toggled on, since I want to see the 18 shortcuts that I have manually pinned. Fine so far.

I have unchecked Sponsored Shortcuts, but I still am seeing sponsored shortcuts. What am I doing wrong?

with this new version i lost everything i need to get back to an older version and get all my extentions my bookmarks back all my s desktop items that i had linked to firefox are gone i can no longer get face book or anything back to firefox book marks every thing i had with firefox

Is there anyway in the setting to stop a shortcut from being added every time I visit a site? I only want sortcuts that I use. I have attached a screenshot circling the ones that keep popping up as an example.

when clicking on an icon that is going to send an email, Firefox defaults to Outlook. I do not have Outlook nor do I want it. I want Firefox to default to my Yahoo mail account. I checked the Settings/General/Applications window for the mailto option but it is not there. How can I change the default mail from Outlook to Yahoo in Firefox (using windows 11).

Since I upgraded to you, I am having trouble accessing important and medical info. I would like you to put every thing the way it was before. Easy access. You erraced some of my passwords, I want them back. I spend hours trying to find my info. I am 80 yrs old and do not need this aggravation. Thank you Moira
