Hello I am trying so hard to contain my anger, I am so angry and frustrated i am finding it hard to get help and i am in just dispare over this i have spend days trying myself to fix this i dont know what do anymore i am so very very angry, i am beyond fury with this i cant get any help i just cant believe this is happening

Firefox is set as my default email app in W10 - pls see uploaded image. I have tried to change it by using the options at the bottom of that default app screen. I use Sky Yahoo mail but I cannot change from Firefox. I want to set Sky Yahoo as my default email for W10.

Any help for this old novice much appreciated.

I have the problem with firefox AND edge, that when I want to log into my router, via 192.168.8.1, I receive message that an error has occurred or that it is not secure.

How do I avoid these messages? I have made rules in my Bitdefender to allow it, but still it does not work. Any suggestions how to be able to log into my router, is welcomed.

Greetings, I've checked a few articles in Firefox to help with my question, but none of them are helping. (Here's the main article: http://example.com.) Here's the situation. Say I go to a website's Contact page and click the button to contact someone, a window appears and asks me what app I want to use to open the email. Gmail is my default email, and Firefox is my default browser, and I use Windows 10. When I open the window of options (see attached screenshot) to open the email, and I then click "Choose Other Application" (other than Firefox), I don't see the Gmail app anywhere. I then followed the directions in that link above to check my Windows settings, per its suggestion, which I did ... but in those settings, too, I got to a point where the directions no longer matched what I'm seeing on my screen. I didn't see the Gmail app anywhere. Could you let me know in simple layperson's terms how to open Gmail links in Firefox? I don't have a PhD in computer science, so please keep it very simple. Hello i've been having some problems on the latest software of yours i'm most of the time watching livestreams but from update v.100 of your software it became weird tab suspends after some in activity which is a problem for me

i found a solution through ABOUT:CONFIG and disabled these 3 for videos 1 - media.suspend-bkgnd-video.enabled 2 - media.resume-bkgnd-video-on-tabhover 3 - browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory

for videos and live streams it was good it didn't suspend but my problem now since update v.102 is that video plays but the CHAT stops and doesn't reload until i reopen firefox to the front of my programs

although it is runnning in the background and NOT MINIMIZED

even when the live stream has some lags and re-buffer it doesn't rebuffer or refresh the page to reconnect to the live stream until i force my firefox in front of my programs or games and again it was not minimized

if there is an option in the about:config to change this please tell me i'm already losing my mind as i missed one of my friends live stream because of that suspension

Firefox version: 102.0 (64-bit) System: Windows 10 21H2

I recently downloaded a file that may have had some sort of virus or malware. The file came up negative in Windows Defender and Malwarebytes but I deleted it anyways; however, I still get a download popup every time I open Firefox telling me that "This file contains a virus or malware." I've cleared the download library and browser history (cookies, cache, etc.) but I still get the popup from the Firefox.

Is there any known fix for this? Thanks!

I have Firefox 102 ESR in Debian 11 (LXC in Chrome OS). It is the en_US version with Czech spell checking dictionary installed as an add-on. I can switch the spell checker from English to Czech in ordinary text areas by accessing the context menu via a right mouse click.

However, I'm using a proprietary e-commerce system (Shoptet) with a WYSIWIG editor that has its own context menu, overriding the default one in the browser. I can't switch the language for that reason. Is there a way to switch the spell checker language for a particular text area without access to the context menu? Thank you very much.
