When I search a subject from Google, I want the search tab to remain, and for a new tab to open when I click on a link. I don't want to open the link through the same search tab.

After researching, I tried to go through about:config and I changed the browser.search.openintab to 'true' but when I search it opens through the existing search tab.

I hope I am explaining this coherently. Can someone please help me?

Please create a new version of the browser app that supports the ability to use FileSystemAPI on directories, this is essential for working with a BeatBuddy project and SD cards that are saved on my computer using the online editor.

If you go to americangreetings.com, then click on the latest greeting card with ROB LOWE, enter info and then check if everything is OK. When you try to play it, it only plays his voice and there is NO PICTURE AT ALL. Other card will work, but not this one. WHY? It works fine on other browsers I have, but not on FIREFOX! Hi Moneysavingexpert is a website that sends out emails with links for different sections of its website. I can only go to the main page, when I click other links in the email, or on the website main page, it just returns me to the main web page. I am not having issues with any other websites and I have turned some ad blockers in case it was them but I still have the problem. No one else has reported this problem on the website so I am guessing it must be something to do with my settings....

Firefox doesn't have my new credit card account number. My old card was compromised and replaced with a new card and account number. But Firefox still maintains my old account number and it insists on auto-filling my cancelled card number when placing an order on line. How do I update my credit card information, or how do I delete the cancelled card number?

I can't re-open a saved tab group. I saved it and closed firefox but when I returned I couldn't find where to access it. I see all of my saved tabs when I right-click on a tab and choose "Add Tab to Group", but when I move the tab to that group it just disappears rather than open the group. Any help would be appreciated! :)

Using Firevox 142.0.1 on a MacBook Air. I always have "Always ask you where to save files" checked in Preferences, but lately it sometimes fails to ask me. For example, if I try to download a file from Google Drive. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there something I can do about it?

Over the past couple of weeks, when trying to upload something to YouTube, Firefox no longer opens the most recently used folder. Instead, it always opens the exact same folder. I have tried to find a solution to this and I can't find one. Even removing cookies and site data on YouTube did nothing.

I am genuinely confused and would really appreciate some help.

I can no longer sign in to sites that seem to use microsoft azure for authentication. Including: www.comed.com people's gas through https://login.wecenergygroup.com www.athletico.com which goes to https://myathleticob2cprd.b2clogin.com

All of them return a page that just says "Bad Request" after I enter my credentials and proceed.

I normally use AdBlockPlus and NoScript but I have both of those disabled.

I can login through chromium browsers.

Are others able to use those sites? Any suggestions?

Issue: A regression in Firefox version 142.0 (64-bit) breaks the display of the CAPTCHA widget on the login page for https://my8k.me/login

Evidence: The two attached images provide a clear comparison:

   Image 1 (Firefox 142.0): The CAPTCHA area is completely missing or fails to load, showing only a broken element or empty space.

   Image 2 (Other Browsers / Older Firefox): The CAPTCHA renders correctly and is fully functional, confirming the problem is isolated to the latest Firefox update.

Conclusion: This indicates a specific compatibility bug introduced in Firefox 142.0, rather than a general website or user configuration error.

Last week we lost the progress bar at the bottom of videos on Prime Video. When I cursor over the bar it returns Infinity:NaN:NaN. Switching to MS Edge and the progress bar appears as normal. I get the same results in Firefox on both my PC and Laptop. I have updated and reinstalled Firefox to the lastest version. I have NOT added any new extensions in the last year.

Hey, I've been experiencing my YouTube and Twitch tabs crashing almost every 20-40 minutes and it's been kind of annoying.

Does anyone know if the crashes are because of my drivers or Windows not being up to date? Never had this issue with Opera before.

I don't know why, but when I browse pages in English, the context menu offers to "translate selection into Hebrew". This is weird and totally unwanted. I don't know how FF decided that I need translations, and specifically to Hebrew!

In the settings, my preferred language is "English (US)". In "translation settings", the list of "Translation will happen automatically for the following languages" is empty, and the list of "Translation will not be offered for the following languages" has Hebrew and French. (I would add English but I don't see how.)

Is there a way to just remove this translation option from the context menu?

Hello, Iam using Bitdefender Secure Pass as passwordmanager, but since one or two weeks I have problems with the functionality on the laptop. I just can't open it. It is popping up and closing down immediately. Autofill in is not working as well. This is only when I use firefox, in chrome it is working. And on my mobile it is also working in firefox. I deinstalled and reinstalled the add on in firefox already. Afterwards it worked for a short time, but now it is the same again. Does somebody have experience with Bitdefender and an idea what I could do? Thank you in advance. Sabine

For example, the word thema, is exclusively capitalized in German, and it shows as error indeed when lowercase, but the capitalized one is not offered in the options. Why is that and how to fix it?

Also, is there a way to autocorrect capitalization for example?
