It doesn't matter if I add www.youtube.com site to hosts file in Linux and delete cache, Firefox just doesn't block it, bypassing my meassures to prevent me to get hooked up here. It was blocking everything as expected some weeks ago. I also tried redirecting to different IP's and it didn't work.

After some checks, I noticed:

• It happens only with www.youtube.com, it doesn't happen with youtube.com (without www)
• Other common pages like other Google pages, Facebook, TikTok or Instagram, get succesfuly blocked by hosts file as expected
• I have tested creating new profiles with about:profiles, but the issue continues
• The issue started after Firefox Developer Edition version 125.0b1 as you may notice in the images attached.
• I also tested with the latest nigthly version and the issue continues.
• DNS over HTTP (DOH) doesn't seems to be the problem since it seems that my network doesn't met the requirements to enable it, and if I manually make sure it's disabled, the issue still continues.
• Chromium browser blocks www.youtube.com as expected, so that indicates my PC might be correctly configured

A blank survey pops up in my homepage each time I open Firefox, I haven't filled it yet since I don't know what it entails and what it is about. There is no option to close it either, and it seems bugged as it isn't going away even after updating the version of Firefox, it is still present on 125.0.2 version. Kindly assist regarding the same. I am trying to force two or three websites to detect my timezone as UTC, even though my local system time is not UTC. I figured out how to do this with ALL sites by setting privacy.fingerprintingProtection to "true" and entering "+JSDateTimeUTC" in privacy.fingerprintingProtection.overrides in about:config.

Now according to docs, privacy.fingerprintingProtection.granularOverrides "can be used to add or remove features on a domain granular level if privacy.fingerprintingProtection is enabled," but I can't figure out how to get it working.

I have Windows OS and use Firefox as my main browser. Firefox settings are set for dark mode and it works in google.com etc, but when I open iCloud Notes, it's full white and not in dark mode. Can someone advise how to change iCloud Notes also to dark mode? I have cleared cache etc, not helping.

I have recently tried to use Firefox View button in order to quickly open pages that I have opened on my Android device, however I found that only some (random) portion of the tabs appear in the Firefox View under [tabs from other devices/my android device].

Is there any way I can change that behaviour? This is renedring the Firefox View kind of pointless, as I still have to open my phone to check whether there was maybe one more important page that I wanted to check out, that was not listed in the Firefox View on my PC. At that point, I could very well just see what were I at, on the android device, and just google stuff again. The mixed approch (some opened via Firefox View and some manually) is more time consuming than either of the approaches alone, so I would really appreciate help, as Firefox View seemed to be a time-saver - I believe I have something set erroneously somwhere. I am on firefox 125.0.3. 64-bit.

I encountered a website today for which the reCAPTCHA dialog wouldn't appear. This is not a case of the endless blue circling of the reCAPTCHA screen. In this case, the reCAPTCHA screen does not appear at all.

I thought it was a problem with my account at the website since nothing happened when I clicked LOGIN. It wasn't until I tried Edge and the reCAPTCHA dialog appeared that I realized the problem was not with the website, but with Firefox not presenting the reCAPTCHA dialog.

I do not know whether the problem is with the site specifically since I have not encountered any other sites recently that required reCAPTCHA authentication.

There seems to be a new function that opens a quick search window when I press the apostrophe key. This function is active on many websites, and I am using Firefox 125.0.3 on a Macbook Air.

This new function makes it very difficult for me to practice touch typing in Firefox, and I would like to turn this function of.

When I go to update Firefox through the settings > general > firefox updates > check for updates, I am getting the error in the title. I can manually download the app installer and update to the most current version which is what I did for version 125.0.1, yesterday.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, installing the beta branch, refreshing firefox, running in troubleshooting mode, completely deleting all user firefox files, and I still get the error. No DNS resolver issues to the update server. No firewall issues. No network blocking (tested with other devices).

This issue started after March update to 124.0.1 and continues to current stable release 125.0.1.

This issue also seems to extend to checking for extension updates.

The email acount I was using to sign-in to Firefox has been breached annd the onlyway I can recover it involves sending drivers license photo and current photo ofmy delf -- ehich would not prove snything. If somebody hsd my enough info they could fake that easy enough. Although they have takenaway allour privacy I refuse to send them that info.

If I had simply said I need helpchanging my password they never would have known. I was honest about the reason I needed a new password. Ended in my contacting Paypal and telling them to not acceot any more charges as I had the Premium email.

So noe I need a new sign-in here and Firefox becuase if I am asked code to be retrieved from that provider I won't be able to get it.

When attempting to load a number of different web pages such as Quickbooks Online Apps, the page displays "Loading Apps..." with a spinning wheel, but never redirects to the Apps page; the site hangs forever. On other browsers there are no issues; it eventually switches to the correct page. In Firefox Browser I have tried adding exceptions in Settings --> Privacy & Security --> Manage Exceptions. No change. Thoughts?

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY - Thru Firefox, I use Tineye to find related photos - I use it all the time, it's been great - I always use a VPN and have never had problems until now (as of yesterday). Now it won't search, a verify you're human window comes up, and I have to keep clicking squares, which I do - but then it says to allow cookies and start over. Well I don't want to allow cookies (Firefox-Mozilla kinda encourages using their tools to block cookies, which I much prefer), and I CANT FIND WHERE TO ALLOW (not yelling its just that I said this before and it wasn't noticed) cookies even if I did (I went to Firefox preferences all I could find was under privacy & security cross-site cookies but that did nothing) and I don't want to disable my VPN. Maybe I should mention that I just added or started a Mozilla account, as I have had immense trouble with my aol emails, and am trying to move everything over to a gmail account. My sign in to Firefox was the aol email, and I had to try (I thought I did it) add another account, which I think I did successfully. So it was right after that, that all this started. Help please! I did get the following reply, saying to allow cookies (BUT I DON"T KNOW HOW OR WHERE TO DO IT) and something about a new browser profile and to stay out of my sync account, and I APOLOGIZE, but I have no clue what all that means. What is a broweser profile, what is a sync account and how do I stay out of it? I guess well I know i'm not too smart about this kinda stuff, so I apologize but I think I need detailed step by step what to do to fix this. I know thats a lot of typing, sorry.

I was playing on this free site called REPLAYPOKER, and it said I was blocked because of something called CLOUDFLAIR, can you tell me what this is please?

It totally blocked me and shut me out of the game

Is Cloudflair a virus? Should I go into the registry and remove it?

Using Firefox on windows 10 pro, 64 bit

Since updating to Firefox 125.0.3 (64 bit) , I am getting all sorts of website problems with font sizes. Some are all extremely small like on google news, others have widely mixed sizes, extremely large and extremely small. Even on this page, support.mozilla.org, I have to zoom 250% to make it readable.

I tried troubleshoot mode and there is no difference. The problems are still there.

I tried the Edge browser and the problem is not there.

I didn't have this problem before the update. I tried adjusting windows and the screen dpi, but I can't find a solution. Just seems to make things worse.

Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions for a solution ?

With the exception of the Home and Catalog pages in the yotsuba theme, all boards default to black and only on Firefox, not Safari or Chrome browsers.

Any idea how to fix this? I'm looking to get back my default Yotsuba theme.

I have started posting bugs of Firefox in Bugzilla for almost 6 months now(though the number of bugs is 3). I have noticed that the bugs really had no response for nearly then(almost 6 months), so is it the way bugs are handled?, like they take long time to address( just asking as I though the process to be relatively fast) or is it something that I might be doing wrong in reporting a bug. I searched online and have been looking at assigning the bug( what I understood). So, how to do it if there exists something like assigning and will it increase the movement on my bugs??
