Google provides a different key to differentiate installed copies of Google Chrome (standard or "Google Chrome for Work") in this file:

"/Applications/Google Chrome.app/Contents/Info.plist"

Google Chrome:

Google Chrome for Work:
<key>KSBrandID</key>
<string>GGRO</string>

Is there such an identifier on Firefox vs Firefox ESR?

Every image I upload looks different in Firefox than the file opened in other programs and different than Google Chrome. It looks with less contrast for sure, and I think a little bit reddish. I noted it when I opened the file with Firefox and when I saw pictures in Facebook. My Firefox version is 47.0, my OS is Ubuntu 16.04 and I already tried in Firefox safe mode.

I'd like to add Firefox to Adobe Dreamweaver for site design viewing. When searching Windows for Firefox.exe I don't see it in Program Files or Program Files (x86). Firefox is installed and used daily. Can someone tell me where it's located in Windows 10?

I've installed Nightly the same way I have for years on my latest Fedora 33 install—i.e., download tarball, extract into /opt, set appropriate chmod and chown, make .desktop file, etc.—but certain videos certain videos on certain sites refuse to play. A Fedora discussion discussion led me to think it's how Fedora 33 may sandbox apps; I haven't yet had any hits on solutions in the Fedora groups, so I thought I'd ask here, since I can't be the only one with this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am in the process of moving all of our passwords into 1Password. However, I discovered that my wife has her Firefox set to auto login, but can't remember her user name and password. So, although she can use it, she can't change update the password. The fact that on setup, auto login is the default makes this doubly frustrating. So, is there any way to get to the password?

The right side of screen, scroll and keys (close, minimize, etc..) on menu bar not working, any fix? When I move the entire screen leftwards, then the scroll and keys work...

I'm running Firefox 100.0 (64 bit) on windows 10 pro 21H2. I've been using Firefox to access Flightradar24 to view real time flight across the globe. All of a sudden today the map doesn't appear any more . I think they use Google maps and overlay their info.

The maps show properly in MS EDGE and Google Chrome.

Hi, I need to update my credit card details for my monthly donation to Mozilla but I cn't find out how to do it. I can't find a way from my Firefox user account to do it. Clicking on the only link I can find to Donate just throws a 403 error. Clicking on a link to help for Mozilla Donate does the same thing. Please email me advise how I can do this. Thanks, Andrew

Before today, my 1Password 8 password manager worked just fine with Firefox browser on Windows 11. I updated my Firefox browser to 106.0.1 (64 bits) today and all of a sudden my 1Password manager stopped filling in my usernames and passwords for me into my logins. How do I get this functionality back so my 1Password manager works with Firefox again? Is there some setting that I failed to update in Firefox? Thanks. MR

Windows 10 pc can not start,I have gone through automatic repair and diagnostics steps,but am now on advamced options and think I need to Reset it.This will lose Firefox.When I install it again will I be able to sign into my Firefox account to retrieve bookmarks and passwords?I am very nervous about this,don't even know how to install Firefox,as someone gave me the computer and it was already in there. I am a tech dinosaur!Thank you in advance for any help.Lesley

106.0.2 locks up Windows Explorer (Not Responding) on my Win 7 machine as soon as it starts. After restarting Explorer, it seems to continue working. I have seen this issue reported earlier.

I can't enable USB Devices on about:debugging setup page. I already installed ADB toolkit for MacOS, also I can see my device in ADB devices list: ``` ~% adb devices -l List of devices attached 013db356 device usb:336723968X product:OnePlus6T model:ONEPLUS_A6010 device:OnePlus6T transport_id:9 ```

On the device I've enabled "Remote debugging via USB". But when I click on "Enable USB Devices" button, nothing happens. I can see only "Updating..." message, then "Disabled" again.

Also no devices in the devices list, because USB Devices are disabled. "Refresh devices" does not make any changes.

Im a student so i need to solve this problem for my work project so i can reach the site

There are two images here the one in green is Firefox the other in Chrome.

One of these is loading correctly and one is trashing the image layout.

It is something that Firefox is doing to the images...

CSS and or Styles tell Firefox what to do and Firefox is not doing it???

What can I do to render these in Firefox the way Chrome renders them?

Yesterday, I put my laptop in hibernate mode like I always do. When I turned it back on, I was greeted by Microsoft asking me to install Windows 11. Of course, I declined the offer several times. I then noticed that everything I had opened was now closed. So I opened everything up again, including Firefox.

My laptop has a wide-gamut display, and colours look oversaturated by default. It's one "feature" of this computer that I don't like. So, anyway, I had to fiddle with the color management settings in Firefox to get page elements like images and text not to look blindingly saturated. Aside from videos still being unchanged, the settings worked great for many months. Now, suddenly after this push for Windows 11, the color management has seemingly gone back to what it was like before I got it looking right. Nothing I change has any effect. Change settings. Restart browser. Nothing. Repeat that process until I'm ready to launch my laptop out the window.

I closed out and then re-opened Firefox. I refreshed the browser. I rebooted the system. Nothing. All color management settings don't take any effect.

I have firefox set up so that it does not suggest anything except for my bookmarks.

So when I type in the address bar the only suggestions that come up are my bookmarks, no other suggestions.

For example when I need to translate something quick and want to go to the bookmarked page for google translate as soon as I type "trans..." it will suggest the link, Which is what I want and expect and is efficient.

But as has happened before, now I get a random suggestion coming up first so I have type more just to get to the same result otherwise I end up following a link to a suggested site which is at best aggravating.

I checked my seeting and there is one box ticked in the search suggestion settings that I cannot disable. I have tried and it always comes back.

How can I fix this?
