I've used Firefox forever, however in the last couple weeks, I can no longer use eBay as the webiste looks weird and my account is inaccessible. (See attachment.)

I've cleared all history/caches/etc. per forum suggestions. No change. So now to use eBay, I have to switch to Safari or Chrome (which I rarely use.)

Using new 2020 Macbook Pro and latest Firefox 80.0 update. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, I have no idea how to describe it. I loved how when I played a video on Firefox, it wouldn't pop up with that annoying video title whenever I changed my volume. Now, when I'm watching a video or playing audio, this happens. And, it doesn't even get it right most of the time! Like for example, it does this instead! That's not even the page I'm on!

Is there any way for me to get rid of this? Thanks

Hi

For two days I've been searching on the web and in here with no luck.

Initially as Facebook is loading ... I can see the video for a brief second, then its turns grey with the message "Sorry, we're having trouble with playing this video."

Appears to only be a problem on Facebook and only in FF (chrome facebook videos work fine)

Using

FF 81.0 (64-Bit) Windows 10 Version 2004

Tried with all addon's disabled. Tried with anti virus disabled

Tried adding "Flash Video Player for Facebook" addon

Videos all work and play in chrome.

All the other apps in Office 365 work as normal but when I launch Sharepoint in a normal Firefox window I get the following error message:

  • Sorry, something went wrong
  • An error has occurred on the server.
  • Technical Details
  • Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.
  • Correlation ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Firefox is up to date (v81.0) and running on a modern up to date Win 10 Pro laptop, I've cleared all my browser history and rebooted but without success. The same web page works without problem in Edge and Chrome but in Firefox it will only work in a private window.

How do I prevent mail from certain websites going to Junk Mail? I have tried the online suggestions, but cannot resolve it. Some of the items I am advised to click on either don't exist, or I am too stupid to find them. I'm sure the answer must be simple. Help, please. Many thanks.

Confused old man.

I have created an HTML file in notepad to run a clickable calendar for our library website. This is an html table with the background set as an image of our calendar with anchors in the cells linking to our events placed across the table. When you click on an event, it links to the webpage on our site that corresponds to that event. This works flawlessly on Chrome and Edge, but will not work on Firefox. The image loads, but when you hover over the calendar, none of the links are detected (the pointer does not change, the link does not appear in the bottom left corner, it just appears like a static image) and when you click on the titles of the events, nothing happens. However, when I inspect element and hover over my code, It shows the buttons are there (see images.) Any idea what is happening?

The link to our current calendar ishere

I have a website that wont render correctly. It will not render most of the css on the firefox installation on my main computer. I have tried loading that website on multiple computers with the same version of firefox (signed into the same firefox account) and they all work. The website also works fine on Microsoft edge installed on my main computer.

The weird thing is, if I try to load that exact same website when it is downloaded to my computer, (from my hard drive) it works fine and looks perfect (same browser, exact same code).

I have tried to clear my data, and disable all extensions and plugins and that did not work.

Does anyone have any suggestions of ideas I can try before I reinstall the browser on my computer?

I am running Windows 10, Firefox x64 version 81

It is just annoying having to click on it each time. I found an article online but it must have been applicable to an earlier version as when I go to Options > Privacy > History section there is no longer a button on the right "Exceptions..". I am using version 81.0.1 (64 bit). Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hello, recently I started getting this error when I try to access Twitter in Firefox. It only happens with Firefox, and only happens with Twitter (https://www.twitter.com/). I've tried opening Firefox in safe mode, same error. Doesn't that mean that a refresh won't help? Or should I still try that? I've also tried different computers, didn't work. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I use a site for business which has a static menu across the top of the page which for a long time has worked just fine. Now since the last update in FF, the menu is no longer there, but a square button appears on the right. When clicked a page opens in the same tab and it has the missing menu items there. However when you move your mouse to click on the one I want, any menu item your mouse crosses automatically opens which takes you away from the menu page. Frustrating to say the least. What do I need to do to get the original menu back where it belongs? Keep in mind the site works fine as before. This problem happened with the last FF update.
