I am using latest firefox developer edition. After firefox updated automatically, I found that I lost toolbar customization settings. I reconfigured everything, but the next day when it updates I lost the settings again. It seems that there is a bug in Firefox. How can I fix this? If this is a bug, when will it be fixed?

On the about:sync page the button to "Export to File..." button has no effect. Regardless if I select "Limit history engine fetch to first 5000 records" or "Anonymize Data".

It used to work. So I wonder why nothing happens when I click the button now... There is no network call made when I click the button. No error.

In English, the meaning of this error is: Title: Configuration error Content: Failed to read configuration file. Please contact your system administrator.

I had this error for a long time. But it's not too serious. Just hit ok and I can use all the recovery tabs as before without any problems. But every time I open windows and open the browser, this message appears. I feel very uncomfortable and tired without knowing why. Even reinstalling the browser didn't fix the problem, I tried it before and lost my favorite browser theme. And 1 more thing if someone can explain. If it can't read the configuration file, how can I still use the browser? What does that configuration file do?

This message only appears when I have not opened the Firefox browser on my computer. If I already have the tab, I can open another firefox browser without that message appearing. Only when I close all tabs. Open it again and it will appear. And click ok to use normally.

Up to 126.0b9, files with encoded URLs in their filenames downloaded normally. As of 127 onward, however, it gets changed to _3A instead of %3A, etc. Is there a setting somewhere in config to revert this?

There's one specific field I fill in very often and for some reason Firefox is really keen on suggesting me two searches that I looked up more than a couple months ago, on a totally different site. I can't even remove these suggestions or add new ones. When I used Vivaldi, it'd learn what I insert (even if it'd end up suggesting tens and tens of options), while Firefox doesn't learn at all.

For sake of an example, let's say that the word I use every day in this field is XYZ. Not even once was it suggested to me, I've only ever gotten the two in the screenshot below instead. And I can't remove them using the Delete key as some other article suggested.

When playing any Ren'Py web build on Firefox Windows, the frames freeze while entering inputs. Depending on what is being displayed on screen, sometimes it will still continue despite the mouse movement, but most things just completely freeze up. Once the inputs stop, the frames will skip ahead to where they should be. This only seems to happen on Windows, as I was told it is not repeatable on Ubuntu using Firefox. This is also not an issue on Chromium based browsers.

When signing in to websites, firefox offers e-mail address options that havebeen used before on that site. But right now it keeps offering two, one of which is incorrect, and I thought there was a way to fix that, but right now I cannot remember it.

This is explicitly for sites where I have told firefox *not* to save the password, and it is offering up potential email/login. entries *only*.

I do not want to tell firefox to not offer to autofill anything ever, because that saves time when the entries are correct. but here they are *not* correct and I need to clear them for this one specific website.

How do I do that?

Good morning, I'm running Firefox Developer Edition 143.0b6 on Linux Mint 22.1. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that when moving tabs on the left-hand side they'll instantly get locked into an inscrutable and seemingly impossible to fix "pinned mode". Is there a way to turn this off? It is driving me crazy. I've looked through Settings > General > Tabs and about:config and didn't see anything relevant. If anyone has run into this or knows a workaround, I’d be grateful to hear it.

When we are getting dates and time in history like Chrome? Random months and in those months, no days, no dates makes Firefox outdated.

Is Firefox not growing or everything needs to be highlighted? I have never highlighted anything to chrome yet it has done things that are worth it.

As practically every other Firefox user, my bookmarks evolved into a lengthy file system that uses folders to segregate categories of bookmarks.

That is, it used to have this feature.

After the last update all or most of the bookmarks (I can't tell by scrolling down the long list) are devoid of their organizing folders. This puts a great deal of information beyond easy reach. In Mozilla Help topics one is advised to click on the library icon in the toolbar ... only there is no such icon on my copy of Developer's Edition.

Can someone suggest a method or methods to recover the folders?

Some passwords have been lost as well.

Хочу заметить что у меня включена функция Handoff и она мне удобна, но мне неприятно видеть блок с ярлыками и строкой не по центру. Я использую тему ffultima, скажу еще раз, вчера все было нормально. So, forgive me, I'm a little frustrated right now, but I needed to move an Open Tab to it's own window, without the use of my mouse (yes, it's having issues right now), but: I used to do this by tabbing to the TAB in question and pressing <Shift> F10, which opened a context menu with a Move To sub-menu. Now the menu didn't have that option. see pic below. ...Yes, I was able to do the same via, File | New Window, and coping the address to it with Windows cut/paste and <Alt><Tab>. Still I would like to know how to get to the TAB context menu option without the mouse.
