Certain fonts are displayed not as what I set them to in Firefox's settings.

At first, I thought it was a windows OS font related issue- it's not.

I've followed everything here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1323130 (The answer support link is inaccessible. But following the answer did not fix my issue.)

Also looked to see if any of my add-ons are affecting it. I've disabled them on the sites (in the screenshot) but the fonts are still displayed as attached. Checked to see if the add-on uBLOCK is disabling remote fonts, that feature is not checked so that's not the issue.

Please help, thank you.

Today 05-08-2023 when useing Firefox, im no longer able to use enter key to execute a simple google search. But it works fine on Edge. I don't want to be forced to switch to Edge, how to i fix it?? it just happened randomly. More precisely it's the center of screen search-bar that don't work. I can still use the standard (top) search-bar

I have already tried to update it, close it, nothing works. And i would really like to not lose all my settings by uninstalling it.

Greetings Firefox Support/CommunityL

While reconnecting one of my computers to my Firefox account I saw at the top of the Settings Page: "Your settings are being managed by your organization". Problem is that I don't belong to any organizations or enterprises having anything to do with my online life. I have been hacked in the past and am paranoid when I see something that doesn't make sense. When I click on the link (trusting that it is indeed from you), it takes me to your Enterprise Policy page showing the following:

Active Policy Name Policy Value

DNSOverHTTPS Enabled false Locked true

I always use secure DNS (DOH or DOT) on everything - network adapters, routers (except the ISP one whose default I can't figure out to circumvent) etc. but on the browser setting pages I am only given the option of having it off: the default, increased, and max protection options are greyed out and cannot be chosen. I guess that explains the policy values but who locked it? My only guess is that is use a Surfshark VPN and realize that in so doing I am using Surfshark's DNS servers but I believe I had this problem before using the VPN. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

I am experiencing issues with my ChatGPT subscription while using it on the Firefox browser. Despite having an active subscription with access to ChatGPT-4, the interface only shows an 'Upgrade' option instead of the 'Refer a Friend' feature, which suggests that my subscription isn't being recognized properly. Additionally, whenever I try to send a message in the chat, I receive an error stating, 'Our systems have detected unusual activity from your system. Please try again later.' I haven't encountered these issues on other browsers. Could you please provide assistance or guidance on how to resolve these problems with Firefox?"

I have tried to clear the cache, and relogin, does not work...

I am wondering if this is an issue of Firefox or ChatGPT, any resolution on this?

  2. 2) I had installed Firefox on a new Windows 11 laptop.
  3. 3) I followed the instructions and tried to imported the HTML file from the thumb drive into the newly installed Firefox on the new Windows 11 laptop.
  4. 4) I got the message "file is empty" when I pressed open so the import did not work as advertised. I looked at the HTML file on the thumb drive and all my bookmarks were there, so the file was not empty.
  5. 5) What do I do to get the newly installed Firefox on my Windows 11 laptop to read/recognized the HTML file I created and to successfully import my bookmarks?????

Thank You for any help you can give. JKH

Hello!

I often log in to a service ticketing website to help my customers. Before emailing them I must reference the service ticket number somewhere in the email, but this is very difficult to do in Firefox. If I inspect the element this is what I see:

<em unselectable="on" style="width: 2161px;">Service Ticket #55474079</em>

I understand the unselectable attribute is on but even if I try setting it to off or deleting it all together the problem remains. Moreover, I've tried it in several browsers (Chrome, Edge, DuckDuckGo) and it works fine without any extensions or tricks.

In other words: only Firefox keeps me from selecting this very important piece of info.

Any help would be very much appreciated! I looked up help articles but nothing similar to my case. I did find an extension for the browser but I am afraid to try it due to security reasons.

Thank you!

hello! i've been having an issue with mozilla where webp images are not loading at all. this is especially prevalent on youtube, where thumbnails simply do not load, as well as on tumblr, where if an image or gif is a webp file, it will refuse to load. both are attached in the image below to see the difference between firefox and chrome, as the images load fine on chrome. as well as that, discord, when opened with browser instead of the app, does not load profile pictures, server icons, or custom emojis. google hadn't helped me at all, and i don't know what to do at this point. i don't want to go back to using chrome.

in the attached image, the top images show a set of shark sculptures. the first does not load on mozilla, and looking at the image file, it is a webp. the second image is revealed to be a jpg, which mozilla treats normally. in the second set of images, there's a quick look at a random youtuber's page, the top being mozilla and the bottom being chrome, and you can see the mozilla thumbnails do not load.

thank you for reading! i'm very confused and am unsure what to do. any help is appreciated!

in the last day firefox has all but stopped working on most websites. i can go to them and they start to load, but then they eventually break halfway through and either end up loading forever or produce an error. if i look at the console i see "Source map error: Error: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource." this happens on twitter.com and raidbots.com to name two off the top of my head.

i did a complete refresh and even completely uninstalled and reinstalled the browser - it started working for a bit and then broke again. i have no plugins or extensions enabled currently (i have dashlane but this happens with it enabled or disabled). it's making the browser unusable. ive scanned my computer for malware and cant find anything either. i don't have this problem in any other browsers so not sure what else to try.

I recently switched over to using an SSD, and I am trying to do everything I can to prevent unnecessary writing to that drive. I've already found instructions for moving the location of Firefox's Cache files to my secondary HDD, but I haven't been able to do the same for Cookies; they're still being stored on my C: drive, in the AppData folder.

Is it possible to change the path that Firefox uses to store Cookies? If it is possible, how?

Firefox is suggesting usernames on multiple websites that I access regularly. However, I have the saved logins feature turned off in Firefox.

When I access Settings > Privacy & Security > Logins and Passwords - it shows all of these options turned off.

When I access Settings > Privacy & Security > Logins and Passwords > Saved Logins... - it indicates No Logins Found / No Synced Logins found.

I do have Firefox Sync turned on to sync between devices, but since it indicates "No Synced Logins" it doesn't appear this is coming from another device. I have checked multiple devices and found they all show "No Synced Logins"

Only happening in Firefox. I am not getting these suggested logins in Edge or Chrome.

Happening across all my Windows 10 and 11 devices that have Firefox sync enabled. 2 x Windows 11 Pro 22H2 (build 22621.819) 1 x Windows 10 Pro 22H2 (build 19045.2364)

Firefox 108.0 on all Windows devices, but it started before updating to 108.

I have not yet tried resetting Firefox - hoping to use that as a last resort.

Any suggestions on where else to look or what I should try?
