I have received 3 system alerts, all from Mozilla Firefox (I use Firefox as my default browser). 1) System is infected!---click on d45n9f8ko90s738b610.gsx-protect.co.in 2) ZEUS.2020 Trojan detected--with same directed site 3) System Alert!---with same directed site.

I use McAfee as my security system. They recommend going to Firefox settings and disallowing random site connections. How do I get my system running again.

Latest McAfee scan shows 45 entries deleted and 2 browsers reset

I have an old Mac desktop computer and use firefox as my browser. I go to hotmail and click on and up comes my inbox. I click on an item but nothing opens. then I get a message up top saying firefox prevented the opening of one or more pop up windows. I have changed my password with microsoft. That has not improved things.

I noticed that in the latest release (I tried both MacOS and Windows 11 ARM versions) that the "network.cookie.sameSite.laxByDefault" is no longer enabled, and cookies set by applications without specifying the flag, are not set with Lax and are sent in cross-origin requests. Could you clarify if this is intentional and why the change has been made?

I was asked to 'Allow Chatgpt.com to store data in persistent storage'. Would that add on the risk of having my data being more exposed and kept by stakeholders not of my own choice?

What or who is Certification Manager? I have never heard of 99% of those listed in my settings. Why is this necessary? I would just like to go in there and delete every one of them!

Microsoft and Google are part of Anthropic's Project Glasswing but Mozilla is not. I am concerned about Firefox security if Mozilla in not being included. What is your plan to participate? Do I need to switch browsers in the meantime? Please advise. Thanks.

Regarding the new built in Firefox VPN. If I have Tabs open and Enable the VPN on a New Tab, does it then affect all previously opened Tabs, only the New Tab, only the New Tab and Tabs opened after that initial New Tab, or ? I tried to open to a site WWW.RAFY-A.com this morning and got an alert it was not available, but, I am now unable to dismiss or close the following ATTENTION! messages. I did click on the "click here to secure your data! on the top two now it shows a yellow triangle which I'm still unable to close or dismiss. Could someone please explain how to get rid of these. I ran Dell Support Assist but I do not have a virus option. I have not rebooted yet as I wanted to clear this up first and then reboot. Thank you. Irene
