Heya,

I am the maintainer of the British Dictionary.

For one year that I have been working in the "shadows" on my version of US+Canada+Australian, to be released on 1-JAN-2026.

Can I add your list of proper names (~5000 words) to my dictionaries and release the dictionaries as LGPL?

Why do I need to post my question on a forum and wait for some random internet user to answer. Why can I not ask a question of the company when their product is not functioning properly? This is really really disappointing.

My mic has stopped working in Chat GPT? Why? If its not fixed, I will have to use another browser from now on. Sorry, I like Firefox, but I need to be able to dictate a question rather than type.

I have Firefox set to use the built-in .pdf viewer to avoid Adobe's intrusive AI features. I have disabled Adobe's AI features in the Acrobat settings, that does not seem to apply when Firefox opens the Acrobat reader. Consequently, I have to fight off AI "suggestions" and offers of help when I simply want to read a document from the web.

So I set Firefox to use the built-in reader. After 1-2 seconds, it switched to Adobe, and brings up all the annoying AI features. How can I keep Firefox from switching to Adobe?

As a test, I renamed Acrobat.exe to AcrobatX.exe. Firefox behavior did not change. I also killed all Acrobat-related tasks in Task Manager. My document still displayed in Acrobat after 1-2 seconds, but none of the Acrobat-related tasks reappeared in the Task Manager.

I am using Firefox 145.0.2 64 bit in Windows 11 with all updates current.

Once a week or so, Firefox crashes unexpectedly. The popup indicates its alerting Microsoft of the crash, but apparently not notifying Mozilla.

Once such a crash occurs, I close Firefox. Reopening it results in a crash shortly after all tabs open and I click on something (usually 3 or 4 tabs are open). No matter how many times I let Firefox close and then I reopen it, the crash recurs. The only recovery is a complete reboot of my PC.

How can I get and submit crash reports to support in hopes of getting a resolution?

cannot scroll when finally got on email or southwest to book a flight............running loud...tried Firefox help to no avail...I just noticed that a change was made Aug 19, yesterday.........is that why nothing works now? I have a tech at Microsoft for help but not on weekends............

Please create a new version of the browser app that supports the ability to use FileSystemAPI on directories, this is essential for working with a BeatBuddy project and SD cards that are saved on my computer using the online editor.

Idk maybe adding enough zeroes to make the release number 8 or 10 digits long.

The current order is like 131, 28, 77, 8.

I've been a user of Firefox since day one, now to me the browser is utter garbage, always fighting to do something that was so simple in the early days of Firefox. Wheres that bring the internet back simple browser gone ???

Every update breaks something its like you have a bunch of kids sitting in a play pen hoping the next release will be wow waw great brill but no its turned to garbage, utter garbage, did you sell out to another company or something ??

I was hoping to be saved from Chrome but you just cant beat an old dog forever.
