I press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+i and then press on the top left icon, but then I can only have one click to identify an element. What to do if I need two or three clicks to get to an element?

Acontece que quando seleciono para abrir o documento pelo adobe ou pelo firefox, ele está está salvando na pasta Downloads automaticamente, e eu não quero que salve. O meu Firefox está atualizado na versão 124.0.1. Windows 10 Pro 22H2. Meu Firefox está salvando os arquivos PDF na pasta Download mesmo eu não querendo salva-los. só quero visualizar. My home screen and all other browsing screens are so high and wide that I can't scroll down because the side slide bar is not on the screen. I have no idea how this happened! I can't find any articles that help me reduce the screen size that I can understand. There seems to be no solution option in firefox settings to adjust the screen size. The View tab does not help because it just offers zooming of the data on the screen, not the actual size of the screen.

Having tried all pointers to how to display this data, I give up and present my case here: In a banking app, the login field is blank and requires me to enter the correct Login ID. This works fine. However, if I double click on that field, an option is displayed, happening to be my email address, which will not work in this case; a numeric value is required.

So, knowing a prompt is enabled, I have entirely failed to get 'it' to save the correct ID. I have also find a place in Firefox settings where I can see and modify the value that comes up. I do however remember doing exactly that for some other site.

So, as I have said, I cannot find this in the Passwords nor the Settings pages. What am I missing?

Help would be much appreciated.

I have always loved Firefox. I started using it because it did not constrict the user to the limits of the narrow minded Microsoft Explorer (Edge). But, this latest update reminds me of what I came to Firefox for. I hope Firefox is not going to become the same way. This latest update (124.0.1) just didn't care about my bookmarks or extensions or anything. It just installed a new version and left it at that. I had several tabs open. Gone. I had several bookmarks. Gone. All extensions. Gone.

For a long time Firefox just updated and left all of those things in tact. What happened?? More importantly, does anyone know how to get these things back?

I used to be able to access all bookmarks from the Library icon on the address toolbar. Now, it only shows a list of what it labels "recent bookmarks" (the bookmarks shown are really not recent). I would like to be able to open the Library and access all bookmarks, which is the way it used to work. I will attach a screen shot to illustrate what I mean.

Every time I would try to log in it would always redirect me to a website that contain only the words "Expected redirect cookie to exist"

It's really annoying because it only happens on Firefox. For some context I just re-installed Windows 11 and I heard from another post that re-installing Windows 11 will help but I do not want to go through the whole process again.

I have already tried:

• Turning off DNS over HTTPS
• Turning Off Proxy
• Clearing Cache and Cookies
• Reinstalling Firefox

For some reason, in my firefox profile, when I try to access "https://accounts.google.com", it open on new tab with a specific container, while other url keep open with no container. I've never configure this behavior, or found a setting to fix it. It only happen on my current firefox profile. If I create new profile, this problem didnt occurs.

I have a M2 Max Pro MAC. I have read other posts about this and people suggest starting in safe mode doen that and it still happens. Removing all pluggins and restarting doen that and it still happens. IT doenst happem on any otehr browser.... help please?

When I started getting msgs saying my browser was no longer supported, I checked my version. Firefox says i have v115esr and that it is "up to date" - i.e. no update available at this time. I assumed I was getting the brush off from those web sites.

Why did Firefox not bring me up to v124? I get a "download update" probably once a month. It's been giving me a new variation of 115esr all along.

I've now downloaded 124 from your site. What do I need to do so that I stay current in the future? Thanks John

How do I return ctrl+c to just copying the selected text?

I have checked the extension shortcuts and not found anything there. I have also searched extensively for solutions, before making this post.

I am aware I can change my homepage and will do so. But I just wanted to share how terrible the firefox homepage is. I am just shown an array of negative stories as soon as I open mozilla firefox.

On Firefox 124.0.2 (on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS), when I click a download link on a web page, Firefox doesn't download the file. I tried disabling all add-ons, but that did nothing. However, I found that when I deselect "Ask you where to save the files" in the browser's Settings and then click the link, it downloads the file to my Downloads folder. Can someone please point me in the right direction to find a solution for this?

I just got a new computer and had my info transferred. It is probably the latest version of Firefox on the new computer now. On the previous version it seems like Favorites was spelled out toward the top of the page on the left hand side. I see now it is just a star icon. Is there any way to get it the way it used to be? I'm sure I will get used to it the new way, but I still liked it the other way. Thanks

I have checked on other browsers (Edge and Opera), and I have no problem with them. Its also ok on my mobile phone ... with Firefox !

I chose to reinstall Firefox browser in order to start over fresh and ensure a security refresh. Once installed, I created an entirely new Mozilla account with new info. However, when I go up to the top right of the browser and click on the little icon of the circle with a bust in it (the Account icon), it simply opens the preferences and related settings, it does not allow me to sign in to any account, nor does it show if I am already signed into any account. Is this a malfunction of the iteration I installed, or am I misunderstanding something?
