Hello everyone! Windows 10, Firefox 146.0.1 (64-bit) I'm trying to synchronize my account, but there is no "Sign in to account" or "synchronization" function in the settings menu on the left. When I log in via the command line using https://accounts.firefox.com/signin, I can log in, but neither the account itself nor the synchronization button appears in the settings. What should I do? Good morning, the "Payment Methods" section has disappeared. In its place, I see a link called "Manage passkey in system settings," which takes me to the Windows 11 Passkey section, which I've NEVER enabled!

If I create a new profile, the "Payment Methods" section appears as normal, but when I link it to my Microsoft account for profile sync, the "Payment Methods" section disappears and "Manage passkey in system settings" reappears.

How can I fix this? Thanks

Where tf is the sync and save data button on Firefox Android v 142.0

I am trying to sync with my desktop and there's no option under the menu for sync. The instruction given when I try to sync is to click the menu, go to "sync and save data" and scan a qr code. Of course the code doesn't work from my camera like every other qr code in the universe. It has to be scanned in the Firefox app but there's nowhere in the app to do this.

It's not in settings. It's nowhere.

Where is it, I REALLY REALLY NEED TO SYNC so that I have access to my bookmarks on my phone.

This shouldn't be complicated or difficult where is it???????? :( This is ridiculous.

To sync a mobile device, the instructions say to open Firefox browser on mobile, from Menu go to Sign In, aim phone camera at QR code. The 3 lines at the screen bottom right (i'm assuming this is a menu but printing an icon labelled "menu" is less cryptic) offers no sign in opportunity.

Choices? I need to understand the App before committing my internet presence. Options to revert to Firefox/Windows, disable features I choose. Otherwise it just GQQle. Sync is already intruding on my preferences.

Dear support, I have 2 pcs and I need to enter sync password every time I open Firefox - start notebook. It works fine on the second pc and password is remembered. How to solve it? I have 150+ tabs open of Firefox Android. I would like to close some of them conveniently.

I have synced my tabs and on desktop I have now 2 ways to access them.

1. On the left "Synced Tabs". This is very nice, I can filter by text and open the appropriate tab. Now I decide, I want to get rid of it. Closing on closes on Desktop, which is expected behavior.

2. Using the "Show tabs on other device" icon. This lists all my tabs, some directly, some in sub-directory "inactive". I could now click the x button next to the tab and close it. But: Having 150+ tabs open, it is very difficult to find the open tab in question. I even have to click "Show more tabs".

Basically I would like to use version 1, find a tab, right click and select "close synced tab".

Am I missing an option?

I made the mistake I will never make again of signing into a Mozilla account in Firefox. Suddenly everything about the browser was completely different. I realized it had synced to my primary computer without asking me a [expletive] thing about what I wanted to sync or if I wanted to do that now.

How do I unsync the second computer so that Firefox goes back to the way it was before the unexpected forced sync? I had those settings the way I wanted them for a reason.

Hello Firefox community, I use Firefox Desktop on two devices — one for work and one for personal use. I’d like to have different bookmark toolbars on each device, but they keep syncing and becoming identical. Is there a way to prevent this (without turning off Sync entirely)? Or is it simply not possible to use more than one Firefox Desktop setup with different bookmark toolbars under the same account? Many thanks! Eva

I would like to know how I can choose the aster PC from which firefox snchronizes on other PCs and what to do, that it does not change direction when i am in vacation with the non-master PC

If I have edited the passwords file and bookmarks file and saved them to a folder via export feature. When I import the edited file into firefox how can I make that the master file and not have the other instances of firefox sync all the old data back to the master one I edited? For instance I have FF on android, linux and windows, if I import the edited file to the windows instance what is to stop the linux from syncing back to the windows machine? I have had this happen previously where a newer instance of firefox overwrote the bookmarks and password files. Will I have to delete all bookmarks and passwords and import them from the new edited file on each device?

I had a Firefox debian version installed on my desktop running Ubuntu Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS and now I just installed the latest 143.0.1 "Mozilla Firefox Flatpak" version.

How can I synchoronized or migrate all my data such as bookmarks, add-ons, open tabs, settings for syncing ?
