Firefox is preventing me from going to certain websites because it is telling me I am using adblocker but I have none installed.. I am trying to play around with the settings but I still can't do it. Is there an inbuilt adblocker? I need help please...

Using Firefox ESR 115.30 in Windows 7 Ultimate, I routinely open multiple tabs, then, at the end of the day or session I'll bookmark them all into a new folder and close them all.

Later, I might return to that folder and choose to open say, 5 of the group. Is there a way to select all 5 (without opening any) and once I've finished selecting them, have all 5 open at once? Rather than just one at a time? So far it seems that I have to open them one by one.

Sometime ago I must have made a typo when entering my email address into a pop-up window in Firefox. Firefox continues to find and use this wrong address in pre-fills but I can't find anyway to correct it. I've worked through Settings/Privacy & Security with no luck. Can someone help please? (Windows 10 Firefox 145.02)

I am receiving messages from my banks that my browser is no longer supported or that I should update my browser but my settings mean Firefox automatically updates. However, I cannot read PDF statements even though I have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed and, on further investigation, I see that Firefox no longer supports Adobe Reader. I am a fierce supporter of Firefox but does this mean I have to use another browser?

Since around version 96 it seemed some new core changes made to how ff operates. any one care to share what the "big changes" were around that version rollout tldr?

since ver 96 ff became secondary browser. Using to test/isolate issues w/chromium (sigh). Now since ver 132 profile manager opens browser for correct profile everything looks good then 20seconds later ff crashes eorror: Exiting due to channel error

Inspiringly i see this forum is being used still so thought i would see if anyone has ideas what changes btwn ver 96/101 and 132 which may cause this new issue, maybe i can backout the changes and get back to using ff as a secondary backup again ....

IDK about anyone else but i LOOOOONG for the ole days when ff was a daily driver option on linux

When using DuckDuckGo Search I cannot drag and drop the search URL into my Bookmarks. I can drag and drop a Google Chrome search URL into my Bookmarks as usual. Also, the correct URL is not shown for the search using DuckDuckGo. See attached screenshot.

Please resolve.

I really miss the home symbol (a little house), as it allowed me to go back to the original page- blank. I could just start over without having to clear the address bar. It was way better than without it. Any way I can get it back?

i have a firefox account on my old windows 10 computer. Firefox is having trouble "finding that site" for some sites I've used for years. I've checked internet settings in Firefox, reset my WIFI router, etc. with no response for connectivity. But I really guess I don't know what or where to check... Thought it was a VPN setting, not fixed. What should I try to find and correct my problem?? Ray ([edited email from public forum])

Apparently downloads of the Firefox browser are tagged with something called dltoken so Mozilla can count unique installations. How do I verify the authenticity of the download since they don't match the untokened hash checksum?

I know downloads off the ftp site won't have the token, but I installed first and then remembered to check later.

And when I say every website is blocked, EVERY website is blocked. Google was blocked. Duck, Duck, Go was blocked. MOZILLA.ORG WAS BLOCKED!!!!! And all for “Potential Security Issues.” My laptop is essentially useless because your fucking program won’t let me connect to ANY website. Im going to have to uninstall it so I can use my computer. Yes, my computer clock is correct. What the actual fuck is going on?

I am unable to open links to various sites, like OnShape, Banqiue of Montreal, Banque Laurentien and more... Any security that bvlocking access??? I am running Fox from Linux over Window 10. Says You have not granted any special permission to this site.../.

The URL text box does not at times show the actual URL of the webpage displayed! See attached screenshot. If I click on the back button once and then the forward button, the issue is not resolved. If I click on the back button twice, and then on the forward button twice like last time, the correct URL is listed.

Please address. I have a related URL issue where if using the DuckDuckGo Search I cannot drag and drop the URL into my Bookmarks. I plan on asking another separate question about this.

(My laptop is very slow. I have cleaned the cashe, performed disc cleanup, cleaned the memory, and everything i can think of. I opened task manager and see that multiple instances of Firefox open. (photo #1) I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I have also tried changing the preferences to 1 instance, but it wont allow me to. (photo #2) Please help.

Recently updated to Windows 11 after Windows 10 stopped getting supported. After putting down several smaller issues on my own, I can encountered something I cannot fix on my own. Currently, I cannot detach, reattach, move tabs (With the exception of moving tabs with the right click menu). I could do all of these on Windows 10. I have already tried the browser.tabs.allowTabDetach setting in about:config to no success. I am starting to suspect it is a problem with windows versus a problem with Firefox because of an earlier bug where I couldn't move the windows entirely without enabling the Snap Windows function in my settings.
