when i go to Facebook i continue to get network errs and also in Facebook I keep getting something went wrong reload the page. I have disabled and deleted some add ons an even tried in trouble shoot mode and still i get it. I have tried every thing i know how even refreshed Firefox. I do not get it in Chrome and it has much of the same add ons or extensions. I tried to send a report to Facebook but you know how that goes.It is getting annoying Not sure if it Facebook and Firefox or just Facebook . But if ti is not happening in Chrome or edge that leads me to come to the conclusion it is Firefox

I am on Windows 10. I just updated my Firefox web browser and it send me an error message: "XUL Runner, Error, Platform Version 113.0.2 not compatible with min version equal or greater or lesser than 113.0.1. IS this a problem and what is the solution?? Bob Krause

Please email or call me to fix. My old, initial, primary email is no longer accessible to I cannot cite the "code" that Mozilla wants me to cite... when I am trying to input a secondary email. So do I need to cancel my account and re-register, or can a staff member fix this for me (please)? [edited] @outlook.com (new, and only, email)

Although I didn't change anything with firefox, now my browser opens in a tiny window, and I must hit the full screen symbol twice to get it in full screen, why? I've done all the 'fixes' for this F11 and others, nothing changed.

bold text Mozilla flags 'captive network detected', does nothing to fix, still an issue, though it's been reported... Multiple Times. I have this issue w/Aurora CO. Central Library, & Fresenius Dialysis Care Facility in Aurora CO.!

As of version 113, this solution is being suppressed. I occasionally see the x appear briefly on the left when a tab is selected, but then it reverts. So far I have not been able to work out what setting is overriding this function, so I've just rolled back to 112 and used the "--allow-downgrade" flag on the firefox shortcut so I can still load my old profile, but understand this is not a safe option in the long term.

My problems with FireFox 113.0.2 started when I began to download some Affinity V2 videos. Some of these were rather large (over 500MB) and I noticed that several were being downloaded at the same time (which was no surprise). However, after sometime I noticed that only one of the videos was completely downloaded and the others were just stopped. Then, when I looked at the task manager the number of FireFox instances was increasing: ...,5,6,...18,..

Of course, I thought I could fix the download process but all my efforts failed; e.g. after a restart of windows and execution of FireFox the same videos were still in a "hold" state and many instances of FireFox were being executed. After a frustating night of failures I finally decided to restore an older FireFox using my Acronis backup/recovery software. My last Aronis backup of my entire system was made on 2023/04/07 with the most recent version of FireFox at the time which worked fine when downloading several large video files at the same time.

I only included the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox' in the restore since I have installed a rather large number of new apps and updates after 2023/04/07. This also failed -- my add-ons, bookmarks, etc. in this restored version were all missing and before I could stop the recovery process, the restored FireFox was updated to the latest as of today (2023/06/01). And of course the problem had not be fixed.

So finally to my request: What directories, files do I need to restore, from the 2023/04/27 backup with all of its features at that time -- this is important, and how do I stop it from upgrading to a newer version?

I'm using Firefox 113.0.2. I want to export my logins and passwords, but when I click the 'export' option, a Windows Security window opens asking for my Windows login. I don't have a Windows login set (no one else has access to my PC).

According to Firefox's own info, if you don't have a Windows password, the dialog asking for one shouldn't pop up.

I can't get past this and I've googled everything in sight. Does anyone else have a solution to this?

What's disturbing is how many websites you have blocked my access to? We may never know. USAA is one of the most important websites I use. Hell, I've been a member since 1985. But you don't allow me access. I have to use a Microsoft program like Chrome (I also hate) or Edge is what my Dell laptop came with, so you force me to use that when you don't allow me to use USAA.

I'm about ready to switch permanently to Edge. All I need is 1 browser, not headaches. You're not reliable.

All of a sudden I need to click the bookmark this page star twice to get the drop down menu. I've cleared the cache, stopped hardware acceleration, & disabled addons in trouble shoot mode. No joy.

I dont have the split screen where you see the email header on top and the message beneath. So when I click on an incoming email, it doesn't show me the message unless I double-click it.

This problem has just resurfaced. In a nutshell, when I type "Lost IMDb" or "Tyson Wiki" in the URL bar and hit enter, that would take me straight to that page of that site. So "Lost IMDb" and enter would take me here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0411008/

Now it takes me to random search results like so: https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=lost+imdb

Similar to "I'm feeling lucky" Google search is what I want back. When FF got rid of "Keyword.URL" search, I had to use an add-on such as: Google Browse by Name search engine to get similar results. Now also that has stopped working lately.

Can anyone help me get that type of search result back please?
