Last week I deleted my browsing history, I had don't so since 2023, sadly I just found out that I need to restore a number of those close pages, I found the same topic on the site however it's from 2020 :
1. Click "Start" > "Search" > "Tools" > "Folder Options." 2. Click "View" > select "Show hidden files and folders" > uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" and "Hide protected operating system files". 3. Click search in "All Files and Folders" in the C Drive > type index.dat in search bar > click "Search". 4. Download and install index.dat file reader on your PC if you don't have one. 5. Open index.dat file within the reader > Click on the Firefox browsing history you want to restore > Click "Restore". Then you can open your Firefox browser to check all your restored history now.
I followed the above steps until nr 5, it does not show me any data on firefox

Starting today, amazon web pages are not updating correctly. The amazon web page appears normal till I sign in, then it doesn't update "cart" contents or show account holders name or list any "Lists" when accessing account saved lists. I have deleted entire history, and all cookies and caches X 3. I Rebooted computer along with a "system command control reset" and still the pages are not loading correctly. Short of reinstalling "Firefox" what more can I do? Are there any "Preference" files or files with specific extensions I can delete? Thank you. Gerard

Hello: Passwords from CSV file: "firefox logins.csv" does NOT show up in the "Import Browser Data" box? I reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows7 and firefox (Firefox Setup 115.14.0esr.exe). I'm unable to import my "Passwords from CSV file" because it is not included in the "Import Browser Data" box (see Attachments (pics). Note: I do not use the Browser in this picture only firefox. Can't pinpoint the date, but a while back Youtube won't play videos anymore. It just shows a black screen in the player. Not even the player UI (pause button, volume, settings menu) shows. Just a black portion of the screen. Now when I went in to get a screenshot, it doesn't even show the black box.

I just updated my iMac from Mojave to Catalina 10.15.7. I thought Firefox would provide an update to convert the esr version to the standard Firefox browser since I am no longer using Mojave, but the next update is 115.15.0esr. Is that correct? My understanding is that the esr updates are just for computers using older operating systems through Mojave. I did not update to 115.15.0esr since I am not sure if that is the right version for Catalina. Any information and assistance you can provide me is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
