When using Firefox, some web sites ask for consent. I tried opening the same sites using the Edge browser, and none of them ask for consent. Is there a setting somewhere … (read more)

When using Firefox, some web sites ask for consent. I tried opening the same sites using the Edge browser, and none of them ask for consent. Is there a setting somewhere in Firefox that controls this? Thx.

I've always used firefox

Recently it seems to me that a lot of sites don't seem to recognise me, so I have to do multi step logins.

Paypal for instance. I don't save the password, I type it in each time, but now it insists on sending me an SMS in addition

My guess is that FF is deleting some cookies that I'd rather it didn't. What can I do?

I've been trying to delete cookies and site data multiple times and it will not delete, even after multiple attempts to fix it. Such as deleting Mozilla folder in file explorer and downloading an extension to delete cookies and cache. Everything else gets deleted fine except for 2 sites.
