I have a tracking app on macOS Monterey that is following me around

On Firefox settings I came cross some locations where I see Google Chrome like on page info about:home or Application Basics: Google Location Service Key and Google Safe browning Key. Also, on a link called Survey where there is Google forms to fill out. I don't use Google Chrome because of the issues Google Chrome creates when I go on my the websites. Why are these Google things in Firefox and is there a way to remove them?

Hi! I recently made the switch from Chrome to Firefox and Im liking it aside from this one thing. When Im watching a video in full screen, moving the cursor to the top doesnt pop up Macs top bar (File, Edit, ..... battery, time).

This sounds like a banality but I mainly watch videos while getting ready, working etc, and I really need to see the time! Im used to always keeping the cursor at the top to see it. I searched around in settings and forums but didnt find any fix. The only solution seems to be to not use full screen which I think we can all agree just sucks in a major way.

Im using MacOS Monterey 12.3.1 and Firefox 102.0.1. Is there a way to fix this or nah? Any info much appreciated!

Since the OS upgrade, any portal that I open (especially the ones that I have my user id and password saved) crashes. One crash report can be found at https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/7d671357-2d98-4bbc-b177-4029e0221221

I have tried disabling add-ons/ exensions, disabling auto-fill, downgrading security, reinstalling (even the ESR edition), deleting Firefox files from the library/application_support - but it doesn't simply work. Not sure if this is an OS issue.

Any ideas would really help. Getting the below info on the about:crashes each time:

Crash Reason EXC_BAD_ACCESS / KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS Crash Address 0x0000000000000018

I don't want to buy it again, just add my existing VPN to other computers. 3) I have some Macs that run Parallel's. Do I need to add Firefox VPN do the Windows that is running on Mac. Or, does my Mac Firefox VPN somehow protect the windows without adding a separate VPN on windows?

Running Firefox 98.0.2 (64-bit) Mac OS Monterey 12.2.1 (21D62)

Many websites are not loading at all or taking many minutes to load (bankofamerica.com, maps.google.com, etc.) Maps.google.com does not even load on Firefox.

Usually indicates 'waiting for fonts.google.' in the lower left hand corner, but site never loads. This is happening more frequently, on more and more websites.

Google Chrome has 0 issues loading the same websites. Firefox specific issue independent of ISP. Tried restarting, updating, etc. No luck.

I can't enable USB Devices on about:debugging setup page. I already installed ADB toolkit for MacOS, also I can see my device in ADB devices list: ``` ~% adb devices -l List of devices attached 013db356 device usb:336723968X product:OnePlus6T model:ONEPLUS_A6010 device:OnePlus6T transport_id:9 ```

On the device I've enabled "Remote debugging via USB". But when I click on "Enable USB Devices" button, nothing happens. I can see only "Updating..." message, then "Disabled" again.

Also no devices in the devices list, because USB Devices are disabled. "Refresh devices" does not make any changes.

When I click on a "mailto" link, Firefox (my default browser) opens a new tab, then immediately close that tab without waiting for my to interact with it. No draft email is created. I see that other users have reported this behavior in the past, and I've tried the suggested remedies without success. Specifically, I ran Malwarebytes, and it found no threats. I then started Firefox (on the Mac) via the Option key (to start it without ad-ons), and that does not change the behavior. I'm on ver 99.0.1 of FF, which is up to date as of 4/20/2022 (today). My Mac OS is also up to date (ver 12.3.1). My Mac is a 2021 MacBookPro with the Apple M1 Pro chip. I use gmail. OTHER BROWSER (like Safari and Chrome) can open "mailto" links in a new tab in FF (which is my default browser, and used for mailto links) just fine! Here is an example of the URL that I see in a new FF tab opened via Chome: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?fs=1&tf=cm&source=mailto&su=Cover+of+the+River+Journal&to=Steve+Mones%3Cstevenmones@optonline.net%3E Any help would be appreciated. - Thanks, Jim

Clicking on the spacebar, does not produce a space between words, when typing text. I'm using a Mac Mini M1, on macOS Monterey (V 12.4), along with a Logitech MX Keys for Mac keyboard.

This happens randomly, for instance, on this very message. I previously posted a question regarding another problem that I came across with the same hardware and Firefox.

I found the solution to that problem by disabling an Extension in Firefox, however, I can't begin to think where to look for what setting, that may be causing my current problem.

Hello, I am a user on Mac! I am having an issue with moving tabs fluidly. Yes, moving tabs inside the window is easy but when I move them outside the window, it makes me a little uncomfortable. In the images and video I have sent, you can see that an unnecessary thumbnail of the tab pops up even when I move the tabs inside the window. This makes it harder to know if I am even moving the tab in the first place. Then it takes like 2-5 seconds for the new window of the individual tab I moved to appear. If whatever I said is quite confusing which I apologize for, I would very much recommend taking a look at Google Chrome, the browser I don't prefer, however, try moving the tabs around and outside one window and creating more windows with individual tabs. It feels more fluid or swift and easy to handle. Compare that to Firefox and a big difference is to be seen. I am concerned about this issue really because I am replacing my previous browsers, not only Google Chrome but browsers like Edge too which are capable of not having that issue, with Firefox instead and hopefully Firefox can have this capability. I also multitask a lot so I usually encounter this problem on Firefox. I hope this is fixed and am sure it will help a lot of users! Thank you! Here is a YouTube video link for to provide a further understanding of the issue: https://youtu.be/jRuBDH32hPI

Using Mac OS 12.4 and Firefox 101.0.1. After launching Firefox, a second icon appears in the "recently used" apps section of the Mac OS dock (see attached screen shot). The icon stays there and goes away, and then comes back, and then goes away, etc. This continues on and on until Firefox is closed.

Why is this happening? Never acted this way before the latest updates.
