I have a Brother DCP-L2550DW printer that is connected via a network cable. Any other browser, i.e. Edge or Chrome, seem to be able to connect and print just fine. Firefox fails to print and there is no information about why. I have checked Event Viewer, turned off all the extensions, tried the about:config to reset printer options. Every single suggestion I've found so far fails to fix it. I have a great deal invested in using Firefox (bookmarks, etc.) so I'd like to keep it as my default browser, but not being able to print is SO annoying. Any suggestions?

I don't recall clearing the history.

Also, starting a few days ago, if you type it into the search bar on the homepage, it will drop to the top. What is the cause of these issues? I'm using Windows 11.

Since I upgraded to you, I am having trouble accessing important and medical info. I would like you to put every thing the way it was before. Easy access. You erraced some of my passwords, I want them back. I spend hours trying to find my info. I am 80 yrs old and do not need this aggravation. Thank you Moira

I have Firefox installed on multiple devices and most/all of them don't keep sessions or browsing history

I noticed that these files are updated while browser is open and get deleted once browser is closed:

• sessionstore-backups/recovery.baklz4
• sessionstore-backups/recovery.jsonlz4

No other files are related to sessions

I have "Open previous windows and tabs" checked

Installations:

• Windows 10
• Debian 12
• Debian 13 (Firefox 148.0 Snap)

On Firefox for Android, this issue doesn't happen, I can even see the whole browsing history including history lost on PC installations

I have a small usability suggestion regarding browser password managers.

When a website changes its domain (for example, from example-old.com to example-new.com), existing saved login entries keep the old domain. In many browsers, users cannot edit the domain field of the saved login.

As a result, users must delete the existing password and create a new one, which is inconvenient when managing many accounts.

A simple improvement would be to allow editing the domain/URL field of an existing saved login entry.

Example: example-old.com → example-new.com

Instead of deleting the login, users could just update the domain.

It’s a small feature, but it would significantly improve password management usability.

Previously I could login to www.lowes.com with no problems. For the last several weeks I have not been able to login on Firefox, but I am able to login on Chrome. I have deleted the cookies and history tied to lowes.

This is the message I receive: Sign In or Create Account

When I try to search on www.lowes.com I get the following message, but again I am able to search on Chrome

Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.lowes.com/search?" on this server.

How do I get rid of it? I have closed it but it returns the next time I try to enter firefox

I am using Debian Trixie with firefox 148 and I reported that the refresh option was missing from Firefox, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1569549. I then noticed another workstation with the same version of FF that did not have the "refresh firefox" option.

It appears firefox has been changed. Some of the items have been changed including the profiles option to add color on creation.

How can the parameters of FF be changed ? See enclosed menu under help, "more trouble shooting information", you will see "refresh firefox" is missing from the top right.

opened firefox saturday and screen was totally different than what i had. guess it updated, but not returned to my profile. have tried to open my profile and succeeded, but can't get it to come on automatically when i open firefox again. how do i open the profile i want and then keep it opened?
