There is no audio on any website in Firefox only. I'm using Windows 11

1. Numbered list item When a video is playing there used to be an audio icon showing the tab is playing audio, this does not show anymore.
2. Numbered list item Firefox does not appear in the Windows volume mixer
3. Numbered list item The Firefox Task Manager Utility 'Windows Media Framework Audio Decoder is always idle.
4. Numbered list item I've restarted the Windows AudioSrv service and Windows explorer process

Nothing works. Please help.

1) Firefox advertised free apps when you signed up for vpn. However, when I signed up for vpn, I didn't get any apps. Did I do something wrong? Why didn't I get the free apps? 2) I don't seem to be able to add the VPN two other computers. It seems to want to sell me (Again) the VPN. I don't want to buy it again, just add my existing VPN to other computers. 3) I have some Macs that run Parallel's. Do I need to add Firefox VPN do the Windows that is running on Mac. Or, does my Mac Firefox VPN somehow protect the windows without adding a separate VPN on windows?

HTTPS://SECURE.SSA.GOV open okay but when go to next page to SIGN-IN, Firefox is blocking it as following/below. What the heck is going on blocking SSA Sign-In after main Website is already open ?!?!?!?!?!

So I have the latest version of macOS Ventura, the latest version of Firefox, and the latest version of Roblox. Whenever I try to open a Roblox game from their website (yes, I know. Roblox now has the desktop app so you don't need the website to open a game), it opens the app, but not the link, which means it doesn't open the game :( Does anybody know how to get Firefox to open the link and not just the app? (Btw no hate on firefox)

I just added "TextArea" to my extensions & it only can be selected by clicking on the picture puzzle icon at the right edge of the address/search bar for a dropdown box of extensions. I would like to display it and a number of others now only on the dropdown on visible toolbars, but can't move them there. When I select "Customize," it shows some basic icons not being displayed, but only the basics and does not include extensions I've added recently. I used to keep icons in the All-in-One Sidebar on my left margin, the Vertical Toolbar on my right margin & the bottom Status bar in pre-version 57 FF and don't want the extra hassle of having to use the dropdown for commonly used extensions. How do I get these icons moved into an existing visual space on my browser? I have 3 36" HDMI screens & plenty of real estate to play with, but no way to use it in FF for new extensions. Do I have to continue to use alternatives like WaterFox Classic & Pale Moon?

Whenever I open Firefox, I receive a notification that suggests I reinstall the browser due to a configuration file error. However, I am still able to use the browser normally and my settings remain intact.

Is there anything I can do to address this notification without reinstalling Firefox? I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions you may have.

My IDM extension no longer seems to be the default downloader. Downloads now come via the native Windows (8.1) downloader. Can you suggest any way of resolving this issue?

Since the latest version of firefox installed when I go to this site for my mail Firefox won't auto fill the email address. It won't display any of the users When you tab to the password field, the list appears but only populates the password field.

For some reason Firefox is now displaying in some strange langue. I have gone to settings, langues and have English selected. This should have corrected the problem but it has not. I have gone through the alternate langues menu and have what I believe to be English CA selected. Still a problem?

What else can I do?

This is the same problem listed below. Recently upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS and Firefox 117.0 a few weeks ago and can't get the files to attach. In fact it won't open the file system. Tried removing all extensions as suggested and rebooting, but nothing changed.

A few days ago a friend set up a new computer for me which has Windows 11. I thought he installed Mozilla Firefox for Windows 11, but I'm not sure if he did it correctly. How do I find out if it was installed for Windows 11? Thank you!

Fist I HATE IT when sites try to answer all my damn questions before I can ask. NEVER IS WHAT I'M TRYING TO FIND OUT!!! Second WHY make it so Hard to ask a question???? Have to jump through all the damn loophole. Third why can't I use voice to text. THAT WAS THE SIMPLE MAIN QUESTION ⁉️

Playing media volume is low. In-page volume is maxed (eg. YouTube video controls). OS Master volume is maxed.

But the volume of the Firefox in Windows Volume Mixer is a fragment of the volume set. If I adjust it to max, it jumps to a fragment of it. If I adjust it to lower, it gets even lower, like a percentage of what I actually set. The level I actually set gets a grayed out slider button, and the actual slider button slides to this lower level. See the screenshot in the attachment.

It may sound like an OS issue, but as I understand, this is the output level set by the application (Firefox, in this case). Rebooting the OS doesn't help.

I can not access for days my bank account at truist.com. It shows it is loading but never does. I CAN access from any other browser want to use! Truist says it is a Firefox browser issue.

When I go to my church website, www.universalist.org, it automatically redirects to www.webhostking.net. How do I stop this? Both Chrome and Microsoft Edge block this redirect.

Tell me how I can prevent firefox from blocking a site without giving me the option of going there anyway. Just started this today would like it fixed by tomorrow.
