The scrolling functionality in Firefox on my mouse has suddenly stopped working - please help. Does not scroll down the bookmarks pane. Webpage scroll bar on right of screen won't work with my mouse, must be dragged down or up the page using cursor.

All my important tabs = gone. Nothing under recently closed windows. Most of them too old to be found in recent history. I'm mortified. I normally love Firefox updates but now I want to yell at someone :(

I receive this error message for several sites that I know are secure (i.e., dvd.netflix.com): "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified." How do I override this?

When I click to check for updates, it starts and the little wheel just goes around and around endlessly. This just started today; I've been able to check for updates every day without a problem. Is Firefox having a problem with checking updates?

I have been a user of a particular website for awhile now. it is thingiverse.com . This website continually tells me that I need to disable my pop-up blocker in order to download a file from their website. 1. I DO want to download from their site. 2. I have not got the pop up blocker enabled on firefox 3. I do not have another pop up blocker enabled on my computer. 4. If I use a Microsoft Edge to get on the web, I can download from that website. 5. I have tried to actually enable pop up blockers on firefox and then say the pop ups are fine on thingiverse.com and that doesnt work either

6. I don't want to use a different browser to go on that website but can't figure out what to do.

Please offer any kind of insight you may have.

I tried contacting Mozilla Customer Service, but there is absolutely no way to do it. You customer service leaves much to be desired.

You updated your unstable system. It did the update, but now my saved passwords are missing. If your system deletes the passwords, what kind of safety do users of Firefox are guarantee? If this issue is not resolved, I will leave and delete your browser NEVER to use it again. In addition, I created a Firefox account long time ago to supposedly have my passwords secure. At this point all the passwords are missing. What security is your system providing?

When visiting hulu the page is blank and takes a while when going to search bar the results do not show for a minute. It's only happening on firefox and no other browser.

I have looked on the web for instructions on how to remove "NordVPN CyberSec.cer" from my General Settings and Enterprise Polices. The articles were no help.

At the top of the General page "Your Browser is being managed by your organization" is displayed. Clicking on the Blue Text String I go to about:policies, it shows "Certificates Install NordVPN CyberSec.cer".

When I click on errors - "Unable to find certificate - NordVPN CyberSec.cer" is shown.

I don't know how this may be affecting FoxFire.

I contacted NordVPN and asked them how to remove this "install item". Per their instructions, I deleted everything related to NordVPN.

The error continues after restarts.

The install/load request has to be coming from FoxFire; for Nord does not exist on my machine ( Mac Mini 10.15.7 FoxFire 106.0.1 (64bit ) ). Chrome has never been on my machine. I did trial NordVPN but do not use it.

How do I remove the install request?

After an update today, private browsing windows now are a different color than the other windows. I don't want them to be a different color. How do I change them back to the same as the other windows?

Also, how do I remove the extra text label next to the private mode icon, and just generally put things back to the way they used to look?

I want to get the emails sent to me from comment boards in the NYTimes. But the emails are filtered out as spam. How can I turn that spam filter off for that one source?

I'm not entirely sure what happened but I know earlier this year in as recent as July Firefox was working fine. I don't know if it was an update or what it was but now Firefox is consistently crashing multiple times a day.

There's never an error code but one of a few things happens:

• The entire application will freeze and not let me control Firefox at all. I need to launch Task Manager to close the browser and then sometimes reset my computer to ensure it doesn't happen again.
• With the most recent update, some of my emails on GMail (not all just some random ones) will not load in any capacity.
• The browser will flicker white and will hide the top bar of the application so I can't close it without task manager.
• The application will slow down and then crash with a "Do you want to send this report to Mozilla?" and I always click yes.

I have tried disabling and removing all extensions, I've tried firewall stuff, I've tried everything I can find but the browser is only getting worse in my experience. With this last update everything loads a few seconds slower than usual as well.

Is there a solution I am missing or am I doing something wrong? I am very very close to switching browsers but I'd rather not if there is a fix.

Hello, I've been experiencing some issues after updating to version 106. I can be watching a video, listening to a music of viewing a site and randomly, the browser would become unresponsive and freeze. The funny thing is that music or videos keep playing in the background and the RAM or CPU usage never goes down but I can't do anything. After a while if I try to click on the browser, it then brings up a popup telling me that the app is unresponsive and I could either wait or close the app. Previously I had waited for over 2 hours hoping that it would fix itself but that never happens. The only saving grace is that I am able to restore my previous tabs after closing Firefox but tabs on my private tabs are gone forever (P.S. It's not p0rn but site that i don't want cached on my browser). This started from me updating to version 106 and currently am on 106.0.2 but the issue persists. I was hoping someone can assist me with this as I do prefer using Firefox.

Greetings from North-East of France, since a few weeks ago I'm seeing a (sort of) pop-up window suggesting to login with a Google account (see the screenshot attached). I've done some internet search to find out how to get rid of it, but the only suggestion I get is to modify an option in a Google account. However, I do not have a Google account! How to get rid of this disturbing pop-up? I already use Adblock Plus and uBlock Origin, yet Google passes through them! Thank you in advance for any help you may provide.

I am trying to allow ads on knowyourmeme.com but prevent being tracked by these ads (or anything really.) Is there a way to do this?

www.yahoo.com will not load. Quote, "The page isn't redirecting Properly. An error occurred during a connection to guce.yahoo.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

How does this occur when I have not changed my settings? So, this is something Yahoo has done. I want to minimize how many cookies are on my PC, what do I need to do?

I was directed here from Mozilla Connect. Since the update a few days ago, my Firefox browser keeps freezing permanently. It seems to happen mostly when I interact with Google Search (sometimes just loading Google will cause it) but it does happen occasionally on other sites. When it freezes this way, the only fix is to End Task and reload. It will successfully reload to the state it was in just a few seconds before freezing. I'm on Windows 10. I keep everything (OS, browsers, etc.) up to date, so I doubt that would be a factor. I wonder if there could there be an issue with a Google-based script (hence it occurring on other sites)? I don't know how I'd test for that.

I'm using Windows 11, Firefox 106.0.3. I have already selected "always ask." I do not see any way I can change the thing that says "Downloads." I see that there is a suggested fix, and I also see that an apparently knowledgeable person has advised against using that fix.

This is very basic browser functionality, and being unable to save to particular folders adversely affects my productivity. Is this issue being dealt with? What problems can I expect to occur in the future if I make the suggested fix?
