Regarding the extensions drop down menu, how does one re-arrange (and possibly hide) these extensions that are not pinned to the toolbar? I know how that to rearrange the extensions pinned to the toolbar: one has to go to "Customized Toolbar" and drag and drop. But I can't find information on how to re-arrange these other extensions. I am trying to change the keyboard shortcut of the Tools → Downloads menu (opening up the downloads).

I accidentally click that sometimes and it is quite annoying, so I thought I'll switch the shortcuts to a more complex one to avoid these mistakes ^+⌘+J and when I remap that in the Keyboard preferences, the new shortcuts shows up in the menu, and it starts working but the old shortcut ⌘+J is still working.

I believe that is a bug in Firefox.

Hello,

Yes, indeed, another occurrence of this everlasting request.

I don't want to see the word 'userchrome.css' or 'addon' at all in any of the answers that might be provided.

The question is: when will it be finally possible to have an option in the settings so the user can choose to have the tabs bar BELOW the bookmarks bar. After so many years and so many requests from so many people, how is it possible we have never been heard ?

How to officially raise a complaint / request to the teams taking this kind of decisions ?

Thank you.

Hello,

I have more than 30 extensions, but I cannot add an extension shortcut into my toolbar and no extension appears in the “Customize Firefox” view. I tried “Restore defaults” without any effects...

There is a way to fix this issue or run Firefox in verbose mode to more information why my extensions don't appear here? (Other than restart from a new fresh profile if it's possible…). I confirm that all the extensions are functional and activated. Thanks,

Emeric

Win7 x64P , FF110.0 (64-bit) I am trying to change the image for a 'new tab' shortcut so I can recognize it visually , the only option I see is to select a URL for the image. (local image would be handy)

I uploaded image to drive.google & shared, inserted the link & save. But is shows just blank.
It shared it properly & tested when logout.

but its a share link & not really an image link.

I have read https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-items-on-firefox-new-tab-page?redirectslug=customize-shortcuts-your-new-tab-page&redirectlocale=en-US#w_add-a-shortcut

I am trying to access different audio tracks in a video on Firefox, but I am having issues. In order to have the media track button visible in the media player, I enabled media.track.enabled in about:config. However, clicking the button does not reveal a dropdown menu with the different audio tracks like it happens in Chrome. Attached follows a screenshot to illustrate the audio track button I am referencing (headphones icon). Is there another setting I can enable to allow the dropdown to show the tracks?

I had numerous lockup issues with Firefox. Win 10 64bit. I refreshed it and that problem went away. But, when I download Adblock Plus and 404 bookmarks no icon appears for them, either on the toolbar or when I try to customize the toolbar. It acts as if they are already there, but they are not. The previous installation had no such issues. So...help is needed. There are sites where I need to turn off the Adblock to use helpful popups.

Thank you in advance.

Hi, I really appreciate the work on PDF.js and I hope to eventually not use any proprietary software (looking at the bloated Adobe Reader...) for pdf files anymore.

The thing I am missing most right now: the option to highlight text.

There is a workaround by selecting the draw tool with 50% opacity/thickness and using a light color, but it's not the same as just highlighting text like in other pdf viewers.

Best, przvl

What configuration setting do I adjust if I want to change the font size of only the tabs and toolbar text, not the text of the window / body (managed with Windows' "Make text bigger" option)? I've made the text of the tabs and toolbar large enough for my taste, yet that same setting make the text for everything else in the browser way too big. I'd rather not download a third-party extension as the solution as that implies third-party data gathering. Thank you.

Hello,

Recently I rebuilt my Widows 11 laptop, which meant that I needed to install Firefox again. I did this and signed into to sync all my add-ons again. The add-ons installed without issue, however the icons for them are not displayed on the tool bar. I can access them using the jigsaw icon, but this is is less inconvenient that accessing the add-on directly.

I then reset Firefox in case it was a glitch and signed in again to allow the sync to reinstall the add-ons. This time only the Privacy Badger icon made it onto the toolbar. Again I can access the add-ons using the jigsaw icon.

I have tried to add the add-ons to the Customise Toolbar setting, but they do not show up in the list of things that can be added.

Firefox version: 112.0.1 (64 bit)

I have attached images to show what is happening. Is there anyway I can force the add-on icons onto the toolbar to make them more accessible?

Thank you
