For the past few weeks Firefox has been crashing and freezing often. Crashes are worst when trying to access Protonmail, which almost always crashes the tab instantly. Freezes happen most often when browsing Reddit, and also when watching Youtube, but crashes and freezes can happen on almost any website.

I have tried changing profiles, refreshing and uninstalling/reinstalling, but the problem persists and seems to be getting worse over time.

Today Firefox crashed twice and a Tab crashed once! What's going on with Firefox? It's especially disurbing to have it crash during a long video and then you have to find where you left off.

I'm very frustrated with FF. It's running slow. Downloads are slow etc. I've tried everything that FF has recommended up to and including "refresh" with no effect. It's getting to the point I'm considering not using FF. Does anybody have any suggestions?
