Desktop Firefox 142.0.1 (aarch64) iPhone 11, iOS 18.5, Firefox 144.1 (62735)

I just reinstalled the desktop which needs the mobile phone's bookmarks. If I wipe the phone bookmarks, I lose everything. Backup, how on the phone? Sync, how? The Firefox Bookmarks Sync isn't an exact science and a misstep could be catastrophic!

Here's what I'm looking at on the desktop and the phone, attached. 1. Desktop Firefox Bookmarks Sync window show a 3 horizontal lines (hamburger icon) for iOS Firefox settings. 2. Phone Firefox has 3 horizontal dots (meatballs icon) for iOS Firefox 3. Phone Firefox has my Firefox account logged in and a Settings option, but which one (I choose Settings 4. Phone Firefox Settings shows my ACCOUNT and a Sync Now option, but which one (I don't want the phone to Sync and pull no data from the desktop and wipe the phone Bookmarks (no backups)).

How do I sign out of FF on my Iphone? When I attempt to log out of either the computer or the phone it stops sync. I want to be able to use firefox on the phone without having the computer on???!!!

I'm just wondering when developers will get their heads out of their butts, and provide a "one-way sync" for firefox. I'm so fricking annoyed at the sync changing around my setups with bookmarks, passwords, etc when I sync between my primary computer and others that I don't use as often. Is this concept just to difficult too comprehend?

I'm attempting to set up sync between my windows laptop and my new android phone. The phone has firefox loaded, allows me to pull up the 'sync and save your data' page, allows me to choose 'ready to scan' and presumably successfully scans the QR code displayed on the laptop (the laptop prompts me to approve the new device). Then the laptop indicates I need to wait to approve it on my phone, and the whole process stalls. The phone continues to display the mostly blank white screen with only the "moz://a" at the top and the spinning blue circle in the center. Eventually the whole thing seems to time out and I receive an error message on the laptop saying "websocket unexpectedly closed" and "device pairing failed".

My two hypotheses are that either still having my old phone (which is being retired to at-home use only, and I'd rather not de-sync) still synced is somehow interfering (seems unlikely), or that something about the new phone's software is interfering in the sync (seems unlikely and way out of my league in terms of troubleshooting around).

Help please?

I want move tabs and bookmarks from an older Mac to and newer Mac. Sync seems to only allow an iOS destination. Is there a way to use it between Firefox on two laptops?

I have two laptops - both identical accounts signed in and would like to sync them so that when I open Firefox on laptop 2 it will show me Firefox on laptop 1. and if laptop 2 was last used, then when open laptop 1, it shows me Firefox on laptop 2.

currently it is separate and unique instances.

how do i automate the sync?

Trying to get same layout on new computer through syncing. I seem to be able to find my old bookmarks, but not with a simple click as before. Cant even find how to set homwpage on new computer

I could swear when I went from one computer to another computer and signed into firefox that it showed me all my bookmarks, addons and extensions.

I'm on another new computer many years later and when I signed into my account I don't see my bookmarks, extensions and addons anymore.

Anything change since many years ago?

I was logged out of both computers so when I signed back in to sync my desktop to my laptop, it would not sync my rows that I have on my desktop I ended up changing two bookmarks on the homepage Rows when I was signed out but they would not change on my laptop when I was signed back in I had to do it manually, but if I stay signed in, I'm sure that it will change but how fast is it supposed to do that because I waited at least five minutes and nothing changed. I also clicked on my icon and clicked on sync now, but nothing changed.

I made sure to sign in and hit sync on my browser prior to moving over to my new computer. I've logged in on my new computer and manually hit the sync button but my passwords and bookmarks are not populating.

I am attempting to think my mobile Firefox with Firefox on my new laptop and it's been following directions and there's no selection no choice to pick what it says I'm supposed to do

Hello, after installing a new hard drive (the old one died and I couldn't recover the data), I reinstalled everything on my PC, except that a friend recommended installing Arium (Windows 10.8 LTS). It works fine, except that now I have no way of connecting my Mozilla account to Firefox to recover my passwords and other saved tabs.

I've searched a lot, tried several installations, and even installed a previous version of Firefox, but nothing works...

Do you know why? Is it because of Arium?

I logged into my Firefox Sync account last week on a newly re-imaged computer. My old computer is listed under "Connected Services" and for the first few days, when I selected "Sync" from the top right menu, the subsequent menu included the name of the the old computer and the list of tabs. That list of tabs is no longer listed and I haven't been able to find a way to access it. Attached is an image of the menu where the list of tabs was previously listed. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The Chinese account logs in with empty data and invalid synchronization. If you decide to terminate the cooperation with the Chinese version, you would like to publish a notice and open the synchronization server for the data. So that Chinese users can export their data and migrate it to their international accounts.
