Recently I have noticed an issue where the "send link to device" option doesn't seem to be working. The button appears normal and the devices both see each other, but when I go to send a link over, it says that it has been sent but nothing ever appears. The only time it seems to work is after I restart my device, then all the shared links seem to appear. Checked my antivirus and made sure it is exempt from all blocking. tried signing out and back in on both devices but no luck. Anyone else had this issue and did you find a fix for it?

Today is my first day back in the office after the pandemic; in preparation I set up a Firefox account at home and turned on syncing but it doesn't seem to have worked upon logging in at work.

Within the "Connected Services" section it shows two desktop computers which seems right (one at home, one at the office) but I don't have any saved passwords nor open tabs etc that I was expecting on the office PC. I get the option to "Send tab to device" but there are no synced tabs in there to open.

Can anyone help? I'm at a loss.

My iMac died. I downloaded Firefox onto my replacement iMac and signed into Firefox Sync hoping all my Plug Ins and Bookmarks would propagate onto my ne iMac but they did not. I keep getting a message from Firefox to complete Firefox Sync by adding another device. I just want the set up from the Firefox set up on my iMac that died. Is there any way to recover my old Firefox info onto my new iMac?

I am trying to add my phone as a device. The first step is to open the QR reader in my android Firefox app, but I'll be damned if I can find it. I have gone into the settings menu to "Turn on sync" but that doesn't show anywhere. What am I missing? Thanks to all.

I got a new Mac Pro desktop (not new, but new to me, 2010 model), promptly Downloaded Firefox, signed in, tried to find where to Import all the Bookmarks that I've saved on my MacBook (over the last 6 years, hundreds on bookmarks; including about 30 that I use daily for work) ... COULD NOT FIND THIS AS AN OPTION ANYWHERE!!!! Went to the settings page... Went to Sync Tab... Hit Sync Now... NOW ALL OF MY BOOKMARKS THAT WERE ON MY MacBook have been Deleted & replaced with the only 2 Bookmarks saved on my 'new' MacPro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WENT THE WRONG WAY!!!!!!!! How can I get all my BOOKMARKS back and have them on both computers????? SOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had all my Bookmarks organized neatly into folders on the toolbar. THEY'RE ALL GONE NOW!

I have firefox in my pc and in android, both with the same account and it has been working fine until recently when I noticed that all my bookmarks, suggestions and history disappeared from my pc. I checked if I have the last version, logged out and in again and tried forced syncing and nothing changes. Any idea why can this happen all of a sudden?

Hi, it's been a while since I used Firefox and I don't seem to have a way of getting back into Sync with my primary e-mail address since I can't find my backup code. Who do I contact to either get my account deleted so I can start again, or get an account reset option set to my e-mail address? Ultimately none of my devices are logged in, and I cannot find my backup code.

The impression I have so far is that you have to sign in with another e-mail account (which is what I have done now), but this is not the e-mail account I want to use.

If Mozilla are storing my name and contact details for the sign in, would the best route be a formal request for deletion of personal data?
