The new version of Firefox shows a huge image of a small portion of what used to appear as a page. I used to see the Firefox logo, Duck Duck Go search box and maybe four rows of my favorite web sites. Now I see the logo and search box, I have to scroll down to see four of my favorite websites. On my email site, I can't see the box to type my email in without scrolling. Help. How do I shrink the image to a usable size??

I opened Firefox today to find everything zoomed in- the toolbar, the websites, everything. It was completely fine last time I used the browser. I have already attempted going to about:config and trying to change the resolution via layout.css.devPixelsPerPx, and it changes nothing. Some help would be appreciated.

There was an upgrade to fire fox yesterday and now every thing is huge. I can hardly see my face book page and I have spent over 2 hours trying to get it back to normal size. I have windows 10.

I am unable to see the whole screen and cannot access various tabs or buttons like the download, bookmarks, etc. The firefox screen is too large for my computer. This has occurred since the last update. Can I have the old version back??

When I opened the browser the web page content was suddenly very large. I had to manually decrease the size to 70% to navigate. I went into settings and checked whether I had accidentally changed anything. Everything was the same. I then tried one at a time changing the Theme, Default Fonts, both letting websites choose the font and using the fonts I had set, and the Default View. Reducing the Default View makes the view too small of sites such as my gmail and other email that have their own customizable view. Adjusting the email sites to accommodate for the reduced default view doesn't return the email view to how I want it. None of the other changes I made worked. How do I get the pages back to normal viewing size when I open the browser? Windows 10 Firefox 103.0

‘Firefox updated and everything is very large by half again, went full screen was not setup for this,web pages show up very large only read 25 to 33% of a page can not control FF anymore’ I am disabled vision and physical ; now almost impossible to use FireFox

After the latest update (103.0) everything has grown larger, but the text. All images and interaction boxes. I have an example from a few months ago, is a different resolution but I was using the 4k for a while in 102 and there were no issues. No apparent option in settings to change the zoom/size of the bar. All other apps had nothing changed compared to this if that helps? If any other screenshots are needed please let me know, thanks!

I think I may have accidently pressed a button and made the homescreen giant even though it shows as being at 100%. Does anyone know of a way to return to to normal?

I updated Firefox and now the type size is huge on most pages, I tried changing the size in the settings menu but it only changed it on my home page. How do I change it for all pages?

my ASUS laptop was automatically updated to Firefox version 103. it now will not fit my screen. i cannot see the right hand portion of the page and cannot find a way to access it.

What was changed on the last update.... All the pages I visited prior were compressed to the window size.... Now things seem larger and I now have to use the horizontal scroll to see the whole page...

Help, or I will have to revert to the previous version.....

Just upgraded to version 103. The tabs and text are gigantic! The view of my email provider and other places I load are way too big. Changing the size percentage on the toolbar does not help.

Firefox used to give me lots of room in the window, with icons the size of a pencil eraser and room to see 5 or 6 tabs across the top and all of my bookmark folders across the window. The zoom setting for content in the windows was 100%. I now have icons the size of my finger, room to see 3 tabs, the zoom set to 67%, and even with the window full screen I cannot see all of my bookmark folders. How to I get the old window settings back? I have no idea why the size definitions changed, and no idea how to reset it.

Now text sizes on all my web pages are messed up, mostly way too large. On at least one page with graphics, when I try scrolling to get a good size, the layout of the text is wrong. I can't get a good proportion with both the graphic and the text - that is, if the graphic (a board game site) is the right size, the text is too tiny.

And resizing one page affects other pages on which I need different sizes.

So how can I Undo this unwanted AND NOT needed feature?

Hi! Yesterday i updated my firefox to last version and i got my UI way too big, so today i looked online for some fix on that. I found a fix saying if you add a line in about:config site with the parameter "ui.textScaleFactor" with a value of 100 it will be fixed. but by mistake i changed it to 10 insted of 100 so when i open firefox i have a super big black screen

most of my problems are i can't reinstall firefox because it made the same weird big ui problem. There is any way to fix it?

1. I have accepted "auto mode" for Firefox updates as promoted by Mozilla et al. Update I refer to was installed at PC shutdown on Thursday 27July22 AEST. I re opened browser next day to see my FF webpage background minimized to abt 75% relative usual settings and search bar text populated with tiny type font despite usual pre set zoom factor 110% and no applied font changes by moi. I am long sighted until within arms' length then I need significant optical corrections to deal with type and small stuff Eg. hand stitching on dark fabric as in hemming pants is now difficult; tiny hand held devices aka "mobiles phone" for me are not practical even with usual specs. For most of my 70 years I have viewed the world with just left eye hence reduced field of view, + close up perspective issues - vision sharp enough otherwise until I had to work with computers + poor monitors in the eighties, that induced rapid vision decline. HOWEVER with or without "computer spectacles" I don't need or want contents of web pages blown out to +/- 150% as it now appears when I attempt to go about my daily browse. Attempts to rectify via Control Panel functions were futile. And that's how I set up my previous "view". WHY do this unannounced? Windows 10 settings menu has pre set [not customizable] zoom factors - 25% increments and further spoils my attempts to rectify view to comfortable settings. CTRL+/- function IS NOT WORKING at all in Thundermail hence it remains uncomfortable and highly inconvenient to access.

2.Yesterday30Jul22 I wasted hours trying to locate sensible help in Mozilla community - https://www.askvg.com/fix-ui-scaling-and-large-fonts-issues-in-firefox-103-and-later-versions/ was all I could find worth risking BUT DOES NOT WORK to restore my former view - yes, re check after several re starts of PC show "solution" installed permanently but no revision to my screen view. I guess Mozilla techs quickly out manoeuvred this Windows hack or his solutions don't apply to my older version. WHY has MOZILLA DONE THIS? WHAT IS IT GOING TO DO TO RESTORE COMFORTABLE SENSIBLE BROWSER VIEW??

3. This "change" achieves nothing for users like me, less than nothing. It just confirms the unguided missile of US style business still lays waste to all who engage with it. If I am required to learn how to fix my own issues then I'd prefer real control over it and proper support.

Hello, I use Firefox with window 10. Recently when I open Firefox, I notice,the a bars the top are occupying 40% of the screen. This leave me much smaller area to see any content on the web. I have tried to reinstall Firefox. I even restore windows 10 to previous day and it did not help. Now I run out of any idea how to solve the problem. Thank you for your help, Xoo.

Woke up this morning, logged on & opened the browser, and after an update, suddenly all my page views are exploding beyond the margins. How do I get them back to normal?

Hello. The newest version of Firefox has changed my screen resolution in some way. Have there been any other reports of this problem? Any help to get out of this would be appreciated.
