When a system-wide VPN application (not built into Firefox) is enabled, the behavior of the address bar changes: on the first click, it only shows 5 sites (Top Sites), instead of the usual 9. After pressing the Spacebar, the list from browsing history loads normally. The problem persists after turning off the VPN and only disappears after a full restart of Firefox. I had to actually sign up fort a Mozilla account,the multiple hoops I had to jump through were ridicules, in order to ask a question of Firefox. I do not want my address bar to be my search engine. How do I disable the search engine in my address bar? And now I have to wait for an answer!!!!!!!! I used to love and trust Firefox. Not anymore.

Since latest upgrade (1/16/2026) I cannot log in to Outlook email. This is specific to Firefox 147.0.1 (Chrome and Pop Peeper logins to Outlook work fine). I tried clearing cache, updating, restarting, rebooting, trouble-shooting mode, private window etc. to no avail. I get 400 error from Outlook.

Previous solution: switch browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false does not work anymore.

Please help.

on all New Tabs and too Windows the Weather-Functionality appears wrong. It appears absolutely impossible to change the Weather for the actually location - so it appears as you may delete that future in general

Hello I got a pop up or it was new tab informing about new firefox functions. It was about profile creation and management. Now i have two profiles and cant switch back to my old one. I cant seem to be able to delete new profile to return to my old one.

How do I remove the pop up blocker on Firefox for certain websites? I am doing an online course and each introduction for each chapter has a short video that pops up but as soon as that happens Firefox sends a "Critical error" message then the video stops so I thinks that's happening because pop up blocker is turned on and I just dont know how to turn pop up blocker off for specific websites only like this one I am using for my study course. How can I turn the pop up blocker just for this one website so that this doesn't keep happening?

Some websites won't load at all while other are very slow to load but some will load just fine, example Crunchyroll (screenshot attached) won't load at all its just spinning loading icon and a white page but if I try it in a different browser it works just fine, but with Youtube it will load but is choppy and low quality videos and same thing as before I load it in a different browser and no problems. I have tried every possible solution I can find from clearing cookies and cache to refreshing Firefox even scanned for malware and virus nothing has worked please help me figure out what is happening and why it's only with Firefox that I am having this problem and its not hardware can play online just fine and download games from steam perfectly fine.

I went to [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-backup] and under "Create a Firefox backup file" at step 3 it says, "Scroll down to Backup, and click Manage backup" but when I went there no such "Manage backup" option exists as you can see in the attached screen capture. So what gives? How can I "Create a Firefox backup file"? I am using Firefox v147.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Please instruct. Thanks RJB

Suddenly I cannot search from the search bar. It defaults to the address bar. why "fix" something that was not broken. Being forced to use the address bar is frustrating. If you go directly to the address bar, it tells you it cannot find that site.

Firefox: Sprache ein Mischmasch aus Deutsch/Englisch. Trotz dass die Einstellungen nur auf Deutsch, sind die Menüs in Englisch! Wie bekomme ich es hin, dass ALLES nur in Deutsch ist?
