Need to be able to load pages without every other webpage failing due to the error message : An error occurred during a connection to www.google.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR.

I am ready to uninstall Firefox and use Chrome exclusively. It is maddening. I have gone through the firewall exercise and fire fox appears to have permissions.

At some moment I´ve got a pretty big sessionstore file (6,6 Mb) which does not load properly. I´ve tried a few of FF versions and settings. My current version 103.0.1 64 bit loads it for few minutes and crashes when tabs appear. Some older versions loads it but after that have various problems with program interface: new tabs sometimes won´t open, no float tips when I´m hove cursor over tab header and so on. Also in such cases browser often crashes and not update old sessionstore file. I have 16 Gb of RAM, FF takes up to 5,5 Gb before tabs appear for moment and FF crashes. I have such big sessionstore file earlier (for example, 24.07.22 it has size of 6,5 Mb), but all worked fine. Maybe there are any internal setting that I have to try?

After update of Firefox version 103.0.1 the symbols are too big and the size cannot be reduced (to small size). So too few symbols fit into a symbol line. How can this be fixed?

how to stop the annoying url popup that only moves from corner to corner when you mouseover it. It interferes with all the links nearby and annoys the hell out of me. I don't feel like "coding" so if you can't give me an easy solution I will swith to another browser.

Firefox is supposed to open in the same mode as when it is closed. This is not happening and while not a terrible problem it is annoying to have to resize the display every time I open the program. Nothing I do changes the situation.

Is this a bug in the latest update ?? If not, how do I correct the problem??

I am not a geek and I follow all the details of 'how to etc etc' but nothing works and the phone goes into random loops and keeps telling my I cannot sync (I KNOW that). Firefox has no phone number or email system for technical support (or any type of support) just this hit and miss system of 'forums' (or is that fora). I tried to send a bug report but I am NOT signing up for another (geek speak) account just to send you the problem. Please fix this issue - it never used to happen on older versions - how can I roll back my firefox to something that works properly?? Firefox keeps suggesting deleted bookmarks when I type in the address/search bar. Bookmarks I deleted 5+ months ago.

I have removed the bookmarks from all my computers and phones. I reset my firefox account. Completely deleted the Firefox application and sub-files and folders from computers and mobile and re-installed fresh and clean copies and the deleted bookmarks are still sugested. Even installed on a completely new PC and they still come up.

I have rechecked my bookmark lists and they are not in there.

Any help on how to stop firefox recommending deleted bookmarks would be very helpful.

I recently upgraded my hard drive. I made a backup of the mozilla folders but now i have no idea where to restore these folders in order to restore all my bookmarks / settings etc.

How do I add a site in setting - camera permissions to allow it to use my camera and microphone while still blocking other sites from asking to be allowed to use it.

I added my first site to setting- camera permission this morning and got camera to work. Later went back to site and camera wasn't working. Checked setting which didn't list any site, added the URL again and clicked save. Clicked setting again an no site is listed and camera isn't connecting. HELP! This is for a doctors visit.

I’m using Firefox 103.0.1 (64-Bit) on a Windows 10 Home Version/Build 10.0.19044

My Firefox Home page is set to Google.com with the URL of: https://www.google.com

Additionally, New Tabs are set to the same Google main search page. A major frustration is that, intuitively, one would expect the input cursor to be blinking-away and chomping-on-the-bit waiting for the user’s query. No such luck… it seems necessary to manually use the mouse / finger or pointing device to put the focus in the webpage’s Search window located below the colored Google logo.

How do I adjust a setting to place the expected input cursor where we expect it to be (without the manual intervention)?

NOTHING MIGRATED. I downloaded the latest Firefox because nothing was working on previous versions, obviously. I tried to see if the updated version would migrate all of my tabs and bookmarks. It even showed me how to access them after I updated it! EVERY TIME I opened the tab of the downloaded new version it was clear that my information from the older versions had not migrated over. I had kept the version with my tabs and bookmarks open to check, just in case.

Then I thought, well, maybe I just need to reboot my computer as a whole.

So I did that.

Guess what?

ALL OF MY BOOKMARKS AND TABS ARE GONE. This is my work computer and I had a significant amount of information I was using. Gone.

I am not sure what category this goes into since I don't know if this is a cookie problem or a security problem or what.

I can download individual files from Google Drive just fine. But when I try to download entire folders from Google Drive, I can't download them as of a couple days ago. It looks the file zips, but then it won't let me actually download the file. Instead I get an error message "Can't download file. To download this file, try enabling third-party cookies for Drive."

The problem first started a couple days ago. (I have Firefox set to update automatically. Checking my update history, it looks like it started with 103.0.1 when it was updated Aug 1) The day the problem started, after trying just about everything, I cleared all my cache, site data, and cookies. That did fix the problem. But today when I got on, the problem came back. It was a huge hassle to log in again and do 2FA for everything again last time. If I have to do that every couple of days, I'm dropping Firefox because as much as I love it I just can't.

My browser privacy settings are set to Standard. I also currently have Firefox set to delete all cookies and site data upon close, with the exception of a list of websites I use every day. That includes drive.google.com. I have since added every google website I can think of, including the ones that it looks like Google tries to access when downloading zipped folders (as seen in Chrome) such as takeout-pa.clients6.google.com.

Things I have also tried besides clearing all site data:

• starting Firefox with all add-ons disabled
• turning Enhanced Tracking Protection off entirely on Google Drive
• Changing my security settings from Standard to Custom and changing "Cross-site tracking cookies, and isolate other cross-site cookies" to just "Cross-site tracking cookies"
• Changing my security settings from Standard to Custom and not blocking any cookies at all
• Going into about:config and changing the network.cookie.sameSite.laxByDefault setting from false to true (It was on false when problem started. I changed it back after troubleshooting.)
• Doing all of the above in various combinations

If it matters, when I was changing the laxByDefault setting, I can see two other settings with that phrase but I don't know what they do exactly. If changing either of these would help, let me know. network.cookie.sameSite.laxByDefault.disabledHosts [the rest is blank] network.cookie.sameSite.laxPlusPOST.timeout [currently set to 120]

And Google Drive still claims it can't download zipped files. I am going slightly insane because I have to download several large folders from Google Drive every day. Currently my solution is to download all files in Chrome.

I can also try uninstalling and going back to 102 somehow, but that's not a good permanent solution. I guess I can also try clearing the cache again. But there's got to be a better way. It's way too much of a hassle to do that every couple of days.

I don't know how but it seems I lost all my account related data. I connected my account to my new computer but I don't have anything: no history, no apps, no password. Is there anything i can do? I have the hard disk of the old computer, can I restore the data from it?

When using Google Sheets in Firefox, it's impossible to access the Sheets menu shortcuts (e.g. typing Alt+D+R+S to open the advanced sorting dialog) because Firefox captures the Alt keystroke and doesn't pass it to the web app.

Of course, Chrome passes the Alt keystroke to Sheets just fine so the keyboard shortcuts work as expected. But I don't want to use Chrome or any other Chromium browsers. Has anyone found a workaround to this issue? (Hint: don't say use chrome)

My side bars do not show anymore, contacts and games I play do not show. I have to use slider bar because what is showing is so huge I can't see everything I saw before. Trying to make it smaller does not work. Trying to make print smaller does not help. This happened with the last update in July.
