Hi Community, I wanted to send a link to my desktop pc and saw that I'm not longer logged in. So I wanted to login again with my same acount and the same password I always used. The login site of Firefox sync shows: Password is invalid, but I never changed my password!

Now on my desktop pc (still logged in) I can't set a new password because there aswell my old password says 'Password is invalid'. Whar happend? Also to set a recovery key I need the old password aswell.

A month ago, I raised this question, but there was no answer. The problem is still here, and forgive me for posting it again. Maybe this time someone experienced will see it. Let me know if you encounter the same problem, maybe we can discuss it out. And thank you to everyone who spares time to read this post. Below is the original question. I'm a Chinese firefox user, so the following descriptions are translated and may not be so accurate. And the attached image is also Chinese, if necessary please use a translation app or somewhat to see it. I have only one default profile in my Firefox account, and I have stored a large number of passwords and bookmarks in this default profile. For certain reasons, I signed out of this profile while retaining the local data such as passwords—meaning that, apart from not being logged in, my browser state remains exactly the same as before. Now I wish to sign back in to enable synchronization. I can see a "Sync and Save Data" button prompting me to log in. After clicking this button, I am asked to enter my username and password, but then I receive a message stating that I have reached the account limit for this profile, and that this profile was previously synced to another account. This is absurd, as I do not have another account, nor have I ever synced this profile to any so-called other account. As a result, I am unable to sign in on this current profile.

I'm unable to file this bug report by myself.

I wanted to sign up for a Mozilla VPN subscription to support the development of Firefox. The Mozilla website stated that I can only sign up for a Mozilla VPN subscription using a mobile device so I downloaded the Mozilla VPN iOS app from the App Store. I opened the app and an in-app Safari window taking me to a Mozilla account sign-in page popped up after a minute. The website stated "Oops, something went wrong. Please check your connection, disable any ad blockers, or try using a different browser". I didn't know what to do so I gave up and deleted the app.

A few weeks later, I re-downloaded the app and pressed the menu button on the top right of the in-app Safari window, then clicked on the three-dot button and "Show IP address" and was able to sign into my Mozilla account successfully after switching to my password manager app, which was Firefox.

However, I opted not to sign up for Mozilla VPN because Brave VPN was offering a similar service but with 10 simultaneous connections instead of just five and various vertically integrated services and subscriptions that Mozilla doesn't offer in Australia. I also wanted to share my subscriptions with my family without sharing my Mozilla account, which I used for Firefox browser sync. Separately, I was also unhappy that Mozilla VPN is a partnership between Mozilla and Mullvad since one of the two co-founders of the latter uses his wealth to fund 75% of a political party that refers to non-white immigrants as "parasites" and is actively advocating for their "comprehensive remigration". While I wanted to support Mozilla's mission, whatever impact Mozilla has pales in comparison to this.

I believe that the iCloud Private Relay IP address that I was using was blocked by the Mozilla accounts sign-in page and it is possible that most non-technical iCloud+ customers who face similar issues would choose not to sign up for a Mozilla VPN subscription via the Mozilla VPN app as a result. I don't know where to file this bug because the "File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products" page doesn't seem to have an option for Mozilla VPN. I was also unable to submit this via Mozilla Connect as I had closed my previous Mozilla Connect account and it is showing me a 401 error whenever I try to sign in with my Mozilla account.

I just updated firefox and it lost all my passwords - I need to go back to the last version so I can continue working on my PC.. I have several Gmail accounts I use all the time, none of them will open right now! My Etsy account won't open, my Paypal account won't open. I need this reset back as soon as possible..

I am not a tech person - and really need to keep working - not take the time to figure this out!

The Firefox VPN used to work great. Then it disappeared. When it came back, it asked me to log in so I did. After logging in, rather than letting me use the VPN, it would once more ask me to log in. The attached picture shows what it keeps prompting me.

It all started when I deactivated my account. When I click sign in I'm getting:

HTTP Status 401 –

type Status Report

Description http.401

I've tried clearing cache but I still get the same browser. I've tried a different browser and go to the sign in page to enter my account/pw but as soon as it finishes logging me in I get the same error.

Why am I suddenly having to login to FF after every PC restart? This happens all the time now, but not on Android. Also, when I log back in I get duplicate emails with the same codes to confirm my details. What is going on?? I have not got FF set to delete data on exit.

All other credit cards, banks, finance, etc. accounts sign on fine. I deleted my "saved" Chase sign on in "tools" and tried setting up the Chase account from scratch but it didn't have any result. Running W-10 with latest updates. Called Chase and was not comfortable with their response. Since it's a long holiday weekend (4th July) I will call them again on Monday to see if I can get someone else with more knowledge at Chase support. Any help from you guys would be appreciated. So I got a new PC, and installed Firefox on it. When I try to log into my account on there it goes to the loading page that shows the Mozilla logo and below it says "is verifying your browser..." with a spinning loading ring. The problem is that it won't do anything else but this. I have tried Refreshing Firefox, going into Troubleshooting mode, and just waiting. But after all of that, it is still stuck on the loading page described above. Nothing is happening but the loading ring forever spinning. I can not sign into my account at all because I can't even get to the page to do so.

How do I fix this?? I really need all of my stuff on this new computer. (I'm writing this question from my old computer since I can't even log into the Support because of the same issue)

Hello, My problem is that I can't log in to my account. Since I logged in a long time ago, it asks for email verification, but this email provider is no longer available. How can I log in this way? Thank you!

Добрый день! Сегодня переустанавливала виндоус и все сбросилось. Скачала Мозиллу и решила войти в аккаунт который зарегистрирован на почту anna_alyakr@mail.ru Однако мне всплыло окно регистрации где нужно вводить два раза пароль. Хотя аккаунт уже БЫЛ зарегистрирован, то ест произошел баг сайта/страницы/окна. Пока я это делала мне пришло письмо с кодом. Страница обновилась и вернулась на нормальное окно со входом. Я решила войти однако написано было что заблокирована страница из-за того что письмо с кодом вернулось. Конечно оно вернулось потому что я уже вошла на свою страничку!

дорогая администрация, что мне делать как мне вернуть свой аккаунт я могу предоставить всевозможные данные которые попросите, я просто хочу поскорее закончить устанавливать все приложения на ноутбук после переустановки винды потому что это тот еще геморройный процесс :((
