Not sure if this is a Firefox issue or in conjunction with the other system updates.

I have been using firefox for 3 to 4 years now and it's the best brower i have ever used but from a few months it have gotten too slow i am a student and need to create projects and research alot so i have to open around 20 tabs at a single time but before even after opening 30 tabs it would be fast as ever. I don't have any security extension or whatever i just have AdGuard AdBlocker extention, volume booster and grammerly and screenshot taker and hoxx vpn (it was before as well) but the firfox has become so slow now. Firefox kept eating my RAM, running dozens of processes. I have gone into about:config and set the dom.ipc.processCount to 1 - then I restarted Firefox and found 5 processes running straightaway before even using the browser. I closed it down and have started it again and now there are 11 processes running with just one tab open. Firefox(9044) Utility(7552) JavaScript oracle Network (15912) Data Decoder (11364) GPU (18744) About pages (12536) Preloaded new tab Extensions (20544) Preallocated (16132) Preallocated (13780) Preallocated (16044)

The problem repeats on three different computers which are not infected with malware. One computer with slightly less RAM I now cant even use Firefox at all (though all other browsers work fine) because the tabs constantly crash due to the high number of processes. Is there any way to set the process limit low in a way that Firefox actually responds to?

For the last day I've been having a problem with FF slow to load. I've tried the troubleshoot mode with little change. When it does load I can have problems with certain web sites loading e.g. Youtube, MSNBC, AOL mail etc. It's never consistent. The cache is clean and I've saved all the relevant cookies, I checked my internet provider and they are having no problems and I don't seem to be having any internal hdw issues e.g. ethernet cable connections etc. I reinstalled FF-not a clean install and seemed to help for a time. Do I have any options other than a refresh? I don't seem to be having the same issues with Edge or Chrome. All W11 updates are current. I look forward to anyone's comments.

Firefox 144.0 on a W11 PC with all updates.

Firefox is running multiple (10-13) windows with 5-10 tabs each. Even if all Firefox windows are minimised and not being used, memory usage goes up all the time. It is currently, according to Task Manager, using over 5 GB of 32 GB of available memory. CPU is sitting at ~4%. Individual tabs, like Youtube watching CNN suddenly freeze and are no langer accessible and can't be unfrozen by anything I have tried. Even the mouse pointer is not displayed inside this tab I need to restart the entire PC several times a day only to have Firefox usable. I have turned off efficiency mode, but this did not change anything. I'll include a system snapshot with msinfo

Any ideas?

Hi Team,

When we enable Netskope, all the searches breaks (specifically with Google Search Engine). It takes about 2 to 3 mins to do the first search, after which it continues to work normally.

Furthermore, facebook takes too long to load (~4mins).

The netskope support team has asked us to make a few changes in about:config: 1. network.http.http3.enabled 2. QUIC protocol 3. network.udp.enabled

None of this works and even if it works, the problem is we have about 1500 devices.

Are there any reported issues ? And is there anything that we are missing ?

I have observed that firefox has a coloring problem. When firefox is minimized to the toolbar, after a while, maybe a few minutes, when it is opened, there is always black uncolored content at the bottom of the screen, occupying about 1/3 of the height.

Attached are two screenshots.

Firefox weird acting when uses GPU acceleration, and this results in a low frame rate on any GPU-demanding page (bug)

So, i have a laptop, with integrated cpu graphics (Intel UHD) and discrete gpu (RTX 3060), first times when i set in Windows settings to use Firefox powerful gpu, it just won't, i tried restarting browser but i forgot that i have opened private tab, so i not restarted browser. So, on any pages like WebGL Aquarium, i have pretty low fps, in comparison to other browsers (like Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome). Then, after i see that tab, i closed it, and after restart i got my fps, but.. still lower than other browsers, on WebGL Aquarium with 30k fishes, Firefox max fps is around 35, but on Chrome is around 70 (two times faster). I found one page that shows gpu that uses for acceleration, and it shows pretty weird information in Firefox. https://kdashg.github.io/misc/webgl/low-power.html So, in Chrome it says like "Nvidia RTX 3060 Mobile GPU", and when i choose integrated gpu for this browser in windows, it says like "Intel UHD GPU", but, in Firefox, on first tries it said same, but when i got discrete gpu acceleration, it says that i have "Nvidia Geforce GTX 980". I was like, what? Where it did come from? This explains why I have a fps two times lower but who will explain to me why this gpu is here? I tried to change all acceleration settings in browser, but when i just disabled any acceleration, still shows GTX 980 what is more weird than if it just shows like nothing or Intel GPU, cause is disabled but still uses hardware acceleration, but no matters if i let Firefox use recommended performance settings or set to use acceleration when is available, it shows GTX 980. I think it's about a bug, or something? I can't say that's Windows problems, drivers, or any other thing, cause, other browsers don't act like this, and i just don't have GTX 980 in my laptop on side with RTX 3060 and Intel GPU, anyone even know that laptop like this exists? Screenshot don't wanna upload here so i decided to place it on imgur. https://imgur.com/pyMZQr0
