The Russian language is not listed in the "To" part when I want to translate a page. Although it IS listed if the page is in Russian, so it suggests to translate from Russian to some other language. The language is installed in settings.

My firefox icon goes up, but it says its not running, I believe I have the latest update, Its been doing this for days. I am not computer savy, so how does this get fixed?

Starting yesterday, browsing to the ebay.com url resulted in Korean language text being displayed per the attached screenshot. The same continues today. I tried the ebay options of changing language by choosing a national flag. Choosing the US Stars and Stripes made no difference; I still got Korean text. I tried disabling my VPN; it made no difference. I tried choosing the Canadian Maple Leaf flag and got English text but Canadian prices.

I tried to report the problem (in Firefox) using ebay's contact links; but those links require logging in. I could not because I could not pass the Capcha challenge while remaining in Firefox.

Thinking that the problem might lie with Firefox, I loaded and used the Brave browser. Not only did I get US English and prices straightaway, I was able to login with ebay and report the problem. My VPN is active and has been since I loaded Brave.

Because I have these problems only while using Firefox, I came here to report the problem and ask for assistance resolving it.

I have my settings configured so that when I close the window with all my current tabs, I can reopen it and have the same exact window saved after closing them and shutting down my computer. This has worked perfectly fine until a week ago. Now when I start up my computer and open firefox, the window opens briefly and then closes on its own. I've checked and theres no crash reports. Each time this happens I open firefox again and get a completely new window and I have to go into history recently closed windows to get the original window open and then take great care to make sure the other window is closed first. The first time this happened I was really unfortunate and lost tabs I had opened for years. I would really like a functioning browser again.

I have an Ancestry subscription. I type www.ancestry.co.uk (which is where I want to go) and it pops up for 2 seconds then flips me to www.ancestry.ca. I live in Canada but my research is in the UK. This doesn't happen in Chrome.

Lately every time I open Firefox on my PC (Win 10) it says that it is already running and that I need to close it first. How can that be if I just started the computer session?

There is no Japanese in the language to which the website is translated. It is understandable that Chinese is available in the Asian region. However, we would like to ask why there is Indonesian, Vietnamese and Korean, but no Japanese.

Firefox will not open in my Windows 11 desktop; is Microsoft playing games with non-Microsoft applications or is there a problem with my browser? fresh install does not help! last week I had to reset Windows 11 because nothing would open in my desktop...... reloading all my application is not near the top of my wish list having already done it twice! all the Microsoft stuff opens fine; even my copy of Office 2003?

Hallo, ich habe am Mittwoch 26.02. das Programm PC-Cleaner gestartet und unter der Funktin "Optimieren" WINDOWS - Reparaturprüfung aktiviert. Das Programm lief ein paar Minuten, dann erfolgte ein Neustart, danach wartete ich sehr lange und es passierte nichts! Ich habe nach ca 1 - 1,5 Std. die Task abgebrochen! Wollte dann meinen Browser Firefox öffnen, was nicht mehr ging!!! ...genau so war es mit PC-Cleaner! Ich habe mich dann an den PC-Cleaner Support gewandt aber über den Chat nicht viel erreichen können! Ich wollte das gerne telefonisch klären - war aber auch nicht möglich! Nun habe ich auf die Rückmeldung eines Technikers gewartet! Mittlerweile konnte ich das Programm PC- Cleaner erfolgreich löschen und neu installieren! Aber mein Browswer funktioniert noch immer nicht trotz mehrfacher Neuinstallation! Ich kann Firefox öffnen allerdings nur als Admin, sehe dann meine Lesezeichen, kann aber keine Seite öffnen! i just purchased a brand new MacBook Pro directly from Apple that had MacOS Sequoia on it already. I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, and it won’t launch. I read your article about users who had firewall enabled on MacOS BEFORE upgrading to Sequoia having issues with Firefox not launching, but in my case, it’s a new system that had Sequoia on it already.

Is there any workaround to this??? I rely on Firefox so much that I can’t migrate to my brandnew MacBook after paying so much for it.

Why does my Firefox stop opening after several days? I deleted it and then reinstalled it. I have used troubleshooting mode, but it does not help. Firefox seems to fail me regularly. Before you ask, Windows and Firefox have been updated. Google Chrome also does this (it does not open). The only browser I can use is Edge.
