We have systems on our network that run Mozilla Firefox when accessing a specific URL are able to do so with no issues. Then we have other systems in our network that run Mozilla Firefox when accessing that same URL received the following error:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to "URL". PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Both are running the same version of Firefox. The only difference I have found is the DNS over HTTPS status. On the one that the user is able to access the URL, the DNS over HTTPS status is off. On the one that the user is unable to access the same URL, the DNS over HTTPS status is Active using the provider Cloudflare.

These are both brand new install of Firefox and there was no configuration changes. We don't use any GPO's or anything else to manage Firefox. Why would one be off and the other active? This is causing issues.

Using Windows 11 just reloaded on new hard drive (Solid State). Old hard drive took up smoking. This error does not happen on any other site and did not happen before.

I have an issue where I will frequently get the error pictured on random sites. This started happening a few years ago at my previous home with my old computer. It got so annoying that I had to switch to Brave browser for a while. I recently moved to a new residence, I have a new computer, and a different ISP and equipment, so I thought I would give Firefox a try again. To my shock, the issue still occurs exactly the same way at the same rate. I would say it is as frequent as 1 in 5 sites that I visit. If I hit the Try Again button 5 or so times, the site will load. The only thing I can think of that is common to the old computer and the new one is my Firefox account. Could there be something in my settings causing this to happen? I remember that I even tried Librewolf before switching to Brave but the issue occurred there as well. Any assistance or tips would be appreciated, I feel like I am going crazy at this point. xD

I am being prevented to access any sites I need just because they require some personal data from me. After the initial Norton (1). The message I receive -

(1) Norton prevents acess saying Dangerous web page, threat category URL : phishing I take the more options and indicate faulse reporting then as above !!!

What is the problem with Firefox? Is it s dangerous un-secure webpage now? Can Firefox still be trusted?

Cannot access <https://www.blacks.co.uk/> or any other outdoors website such as Millets ot Go Outdoors. Been going on for a long time now with error message:

Recently when I try to use the PCH.com search in their emails, I get this message; "HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long." Is this a PCH problem or Firefox and can I fix it?

Every time, but only in the last two days, I try to click through to anything related to American Partisan.org, get a "bad request"error message. I have never had this problem in many years of visiting this site and clicking various linked articles on site. I am still receiving email from this site daily with no problems, but cannot click from the email to the site itself. I am not very computer savvy having grown up using a dial telephone in another millennium. I hope the solution is simple. I have no such problems with the site in question on the same email account on my cell phone. I have no similar problems with any other sites on my computer. Here is the message:

For the past few months, I've been getting this error and been searching for possible solutions. None of which have worked. I am also not using Kaspersky AV. With this, I'm asking if there's anything else I can do.

Here are the solutions I've tried: 1. Troubleshoot mode / disabling add ons 2. New profile 3. Clearing cache / cookies / dns 4. Changing "DNS over HTTPS" & proxy settings 5. Disabling firewall / AV / VPN 6. Chrome loads the site but I do not want to resort to this. Using developer mode browser does not work either for firefox.

I'm using Selenium with Firefox in Python to automate browser testing, but I keep encountering captchas that prevent my script from proceeding. Additionally, I receive an error stating that "the browser is being automated" (Reason: Marionette).

My intended automation flow:

1. Open Firefox
2. Go to www.google.com
3. Search for "YouTube"
4. Click on the YouTube link
5. Search for a video
6. Play the video

However, captchas appear during the process, and I suspect it's because Firefox detects that it's automated. Is there a way to disable automation detection in Firefox or configure Marionette to reduce captchas when using Selenium in Python?

Any guidance or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I started encountering this problem as I updated my OS to windows 11. I had eset nod antivirus, but uninstalling it nothing changed. Tried to change MTU cache size through CMD. Changed different DNSes Tried to disable all protection settings in browser and in windows settings. Deleted all extensions. NOTHING helped except clearing cache of the browser, but this is fixing problem only before first browser restart. Other browser on laptop works normally without any issues.

1, provide phone support....which i am willing to pay for.

2. fix it -- remove the problem via an update

3. A new computer....and I still get this "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)." WHY ? Of course, GREAT that Mozilla never has real people to staff tech support.
