Hello all,

I am currently testing the new VPN feature in Firefox. I Is noticed that Firefox always starts with this integrated VPN being off. I searched but I didn't find any way to have it always on when launching VPN. Is that possible?

After all, you constantly preach that we have to be careful & trying to be careful.

I'm using Firefox 150, but I don't see a VPN button, not even in the extension drop-down menu. There's only a new button for my Firefox account (F). When I click it, I can only choose the paid VPN options.

My Firefox browser shows the built-in icon (x VPN) in the upper right of the screen. If I click on the icon it starts the process that results in successfully logging into my mozilla account and the screen prints out the following: Next: Turn on VPN

One more step to boost your browser’s privacy. Go to the open panel and turn it on.

But the screen shows no open panel! If I click on the (x VPN) again, the process starts over.

I have checked Settings > Privacy & Security and made sure that the entry "Allow Firefox to improve features, performance, and stability between updates" is checked. I have made sure that browser.ipProtection.enabled is set to true; browser.ipProtection.everOpenedPanel is set to false; and I see no entry for browser.ipProtection.openedPanelWithLocation.

I have signed out completely from the Mozilla account, restarted the browser, and logged back in to restart the process using (x VPN) but it still doesn't work.

What are the step-to-step instructions in order to use Free VPN? (see attached image) I did a query on the web and it came back stating that Firefox VPN was not free. I am confused. Thank you for your prompt assistance.

I have installed Firefox VPN, but it is disabled by default so I have to enable it whenever I use it . How can I change the default setting to make it on by default

I downloaded Firefox today and saw there was a VPN option but it is not working. It asks me to sign in and per the instructions the clickable icon at the top should now have an option to enable but it just asks me to sign in again. I am from Canada and it says my region is available for this program.

I have the VPN from Firefox and I have chosen United States for location. Do I now simply search (google or whatever engine) or is there something else thhat I am missing?

I read the article about having 50 GB of free VPN use after I updated Firefox today to version 149.0; however, I don't see anywhere where I can enable the VPN. I've checked in the "Customize Toolbar" section, and I still couldn't find anything. I don't understand, the article made it sound like I should have access, but I've also read that it's not out for everyone yet?

I now do have the VPN button on my toolbar but when I click on "Turn On VPN" nothing happens. I am logged in in my Firefox profile through the VPN settings under Privacy and Security.

I am on Mac OS 15.7.7, Firefox 151.0.1.

Why am I not able to turn on the VPN?

Why is Firefox sending me email msg's saying to try the new firefox VPN when It doesn't seem to be available to me? It's not in the upper right corner as they state and it's not in the toolbar either which they also say it's suppose to be in!

The Firefox installed on my Compaq CQ58 laptop automatically updated to version 150. I'm told by Firefox that there should be a button in the top right of the screen to activate the new free Firefox VPN tool. The button is simply not there ! How do I start the free VPN without the button ? I am located in France.

the build in VPN is not working anymore: the messages we get are often like "no internet connection". i did use it now for some weeks, but after the last update it stopped working now for some days.

VPN is on. I can't access the internet. Error message is either: An error occurred during a connection to www.thewindowsclub.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Or: Connect to the internet You're offline. Check your connection.

I've googled the issue but it talks about ports and tunnels and going into settings. I've looked in the VPN Mozilla settings and there only seems the option to either include or exclude a website from the VPN. Nothing about different ports and testing. I've already written this message once but the VPN was on so it disconnected the internet and I lost this message! Trying a 2nd time now without the VPN

Any help? Or should I give up with it?
