Hi I have a firefox account which I use on 2 macs and a PC as well as an android phone. For the past few months non of my book marks, passwords etc are being synced across the system and I have now completely different book marks on different devises. I have synced each computer multiple times without effect. This used to work perfectly before I changed my password a few months back. It is now reaching a point that firefox is no longer usable for me?? Thanks for your help

I use Firefox app in macos, android and ipados. The bookmarks across them are not synching automatically. I need to press sync manuelly to do. All apps are updated, all settings look fine. Please help me synch bookmarks across platforms. Thanks a lot.

I’ve been experiencing synchronization issues with Firefox lately.

Current situation: Tabs sync correctly between devices, but bookmarks and passwords no longer sync between my iPhone and my computer.

I’ve also considered an issue with profiles, I currently have three Firefox profiles:

• default-release (currently in use)
• default
• default-release-1

I also used Firefox Troubleshoot Mode (restart with add-ons disabled) to test the issue.

sync-log : The sync-logs show many success-sync entries and only a couple of error-syncs. There are no obvious connection issues (I’m using a shared connection in a rural area). However, bookmarks and passwords are still not syncing properly across devices.

Observed behavior: Sync is active and "functional" Only specific data types (bookmarks and passwords) are affected The issue persists even after signing out and back into Sync, and restarting Firefox on both devices

Checks already done: Sync is enabled for bookmarks and passwords Sync logs mostly show successful operations rather than errors

Hypothesis: A Firefox profile conflict

Question: How can I restore Sync properly without losing my bookmarks, passwords, or other data?

Hi! I recently lost my old laptop and I'm trying to setup my new laptop without a backup. I was logged into my mozilla account on my old browser before I lost it, but I'm not seeing any of my old tabs, bookmarks, and extensions from my old browser syncing to my new browser. Is there anything I can do to retrieve this data without having access to my old laptop? Thank to anyone who can help!

Hello, when I first switched from google chrome to Firefox I could not figure out how to create one browser with two profiles like I had with chrome. So I went to about:profiles and created two separate browsers not realizing you all had an option to create two profiles under one browser. I finally figured out how to have to profiles under one browser by going here https://www.tech2geek.net/how-to-use-the-new-updated-profile-manager-in-firefox-2025/#google_vignette but I can not figure out how to sync the google chrome profile that I had previously to this new profile under the same browser. How do I sync this? I hit sync and nothing changed. I am signed in and I can not figure out how to get the browser profile to sync with this new profile under one browser. I really hate how Firefox named both of these Profiles because it is extremely hard to explain this situation.

I recently noticed an unknown Outlook/Microsoft account (oliveconscious13@outlook.com) saved in my Firefox logins. The email and password appear to be randomly generated, and the account’s preferred language is set to Russian. I have never seen or used this account before.

Here are the key details:

My Firefox account was created on June 8, 2025.

The unknown Microsoft account was created on July 8, 2025.

I only have two devices connected to my Firefox account: my Mac (where the account first appeared) and my Windows PC.

The account is also showing up in Chrome’s saved passwords, which I never intentionally synced with Firefox.

This is a brand-new Mac purchased directly from Apple, so I know it wasn’t a used device.

I’m trying to figure out:

How this account was added to my saved logins.

Whether this was synced from another device.

If there’s any security concern or if my account may be compromised.

Could you check my sync history or logs to see which device added this login, and advise on how to make sure my saved logins are secure?

It's seems my acount lost everything after i reset the password , now i don't have my booksmarks anymore and i don't have all my saved password it apper as new acount

How can I remove all my saved passwords from Firefox Sync? On my desktop, I went to Menu > Passwords > Three Dots > Remove all passwords, and they're gone. However, on my mobile phone, they're still there. So the sync functionality is borked. The question is, are the passwords still on Mozilla servers, or is just the sync to my mobile buggy?

Even if I were to delete my FF Sync account, for good measure I'd like to manually delete all passwords from it first though.

Any help welcome.

I'm trying to sync all the bookmarks I have saved in Firefox V 153.0 (aarch64) on my Macbook Pro V 26.5.2 to my Firefox V 153.0 on my iPhone 12 Pro running V 26.5.2

It looks like sync is running, but I can't find my laptop bookmarks on my iPhone?

Is it possible I have more than one firefox account? If so, how do I get rid of one?

Is it possible I'm logged in to Firefox via my Google account? If so, how do I delete that log in?

I use an iMac (2019) and MacBook (2015) but my tabs aren't syncing between the two.

I've refreshed the syncing a few times but the MacBook is still showing two lots of tabs for the iMac, and both of them are showing pages that are no longer open.

I'd really like to be able to move between the two so if anyone has any suggestions on how to get FireFox to sync, I'd be really grateful. :-)

I want to "synch"/ export/migrate my current tabs on my old computer to this computer -- the 'synch now' button in your settings doesnt seem to take it on - please let me know?

I use firefox on 3 devices, ios, windows, and mac. I want extensions to sync across windows and mac (I know ios doesn't do that). When I first got firefox on my mac, all my windows addons synced over when I signed in but now addons that I add on my windows does not go over to my mac no matter what. I already turned addon sync on and off several times on both devices and manually hit sync multiple times on both devices as well. help?

I purchased a new Apple laptop, a MacBook Neo, & need to import bookmarks from my old MacBookAir to the Neo. No success thus far after going to Mozilla article "Sync bookmarks...." & following those instructions.

I recently downloaded Firefox and setup a home profile on my personal computer. I want to use the same profile on my work computer. I set up sync but that says it's done and nothing changes. How do i sync over the settings, passwords, bookmarks, theme, etc.?

I have this setting setup in Chrome but I'm tired of using chrome. Yet this feature is really important to me. I'd like to make change to bookmarks on my personal computer and it should update my profile on my work computer too

I moved bookmarks from old mac to new mac so I can visit all my websites. However no user names and passwords load on the new mac. I hit sync over and over and nothing happens. Thx in advance for your help.
