I just noticed that I can no longer re-arrange tabs by using drag-n-drop or create bookmarks in my bookmarks bar using drag-n-drop. Is this a new "feature" in 127.0?

I'm trying to get my Firefox installation to permanently disable private browsing mode, however, all information I can find is for the Snap version of Firefox, and not for the Flatpak version. How do I disable private browsing on my installation?

Over the past week or so, Youtube videos take a while to start, and will at times just stop and buffer. I turned off uBlock Origin for Youtube, and I have Youtube Premium, but this issue is still happening. Ookla speed test is 569.32 Mbps download, and 23.50 Mbps upload. My Firefox is set to automatically update. Current version is 127.0.1

Download Web plugin to access my Security DVR. When I type in the IP of the DVR, firefox will momentarily go to the plugin but then says it needs to be downloaded. HELP

In Preferences Applications, setting

 CSV-Dokument      to    open with firefox

opens edless new firefox Tabs - so I had to kill firefox. (setting CSV-Dokument to open with OpenOffice works fine. But this is not what I want.)

In Preferences Applications, I found further CSV types: application/csv-Typ CSV Document (application/text) CSV Document (octet/stream) CSV Document (application/x-download) Which applications should I use for them ?

I found the file "mimeTypes.rdf". However, I am not familiar with the syntax.

When trying to login to my AT&T account from fire fox the page continually refreshes and will not load. Microsoft edge will login fine. Anyone know the solution?

I am a heavy user of Firefox: daily & around 8 hours a day.

I usually use alt+shift+left/right-arrow to select a few words to the right / to the left. With the latest update (mandatory because this is a work-administered) laptop, the new behavior is that tabs are changed.

I want any solution to revert this to standard (past) behavior (preferably not an extension). Looked around in about:config but could not find anything to toggle on/off.

This is highly annoying as I've had this workflow for literally years. Even opening this ticket I encountered the issue more than 3 times as I was phrasing the message and had to delete & rewrite some stuff while also have other tabs open in the same Firefox window.

Why do PDFs come out so small when printing? ie. taking up only about 40% of an A4 sheet? Selecting "fit to page" or "scale" etc in the print dialogue makes no difference. Images: 1. Desired size. 2. Actual printed size. 3. Print dialogue.

Prior to ~1 week ago, my process of using Firefox was as follows:

• Open a new tab, search for something, click through a few links

If I couldn't find anything relevant in the first page of results, I'd navigate back to the Firefox Home Page and try another search. I hate going past the first page of results!

However, as of ~1 week ago, I can no longer navigate to the Firefox Home Page - why is this?

but i don't see option to enable autofill on desktop. On mobile, autofill only shows USA ans Canada. Why Chrome allow me to use address autofill and Firefox not?

I am using Windows 11 and FF 127.02. I have read the lag issue with Youtube was suppose to be corrected with FF 127.02 but it is not. I have been using FF for many years now an love it. It is my understanding that it is the ad blockers causing the slow down. Do you have an estimated date when this will be resolved. I have tried every trick included running it in diagnostic mode or trouble shooting mode. Nothing seems to work. Not even a refresh.

I switched back to release from nightly because the themes support completely broke rendering of menus, buttons, etc on various (read: pretty much every single one, including this one) websites, making them difficult or impossible to use. I've tried a browser refresh to no effect.

unfortunately, it appears the feature has been rolled out to release now as well, as pictured below.

I've tried cycling through themes, setting custom colors and forcing it to never replace the website's specified colors etc, turning off acceleration... none of it works. this is an issue on my desktop, laptop, and tablet (surface pro x), basically every platform I use except mobile.

any ideas how to fix this? it's really annoying and I'd really like to not hop browsers again, I've been using firefox for a good long while now.

I click the Share Data button, and instead I get a complaint every time, that "We can't automatically get your browser's troubleshooting data, please try these manual steps." I ain't falling for that no more, every time I click that manual steps thing, it blanks out everything I already typed, and when I come back I have to start over!

Anyway, how do I get that complaint to go away, and the details to appear in the Troubleshoot Information box like they ought to?

I factory restarted my computer and reinstalled Firefox. When I signed into my Firefox account, all my bookmarks showed up but none of my tabs were loaded. I figured out how to load my tabs up from my previous session but all my bookmarks then deleted. I tried to re-sync but none of the tabs showed up. When I try to restore my bookmarks from the manage bookmarks library, it does not appear. I do not have a backup file for my bookmarks.

hello tried a few things from help docs on line. nothing working. just keeps happening. tabs will say gah. your tab just crashed. works for a bit but once happens.... have to close whole firefox and open again. just started happening yesterday. I have used firefox for many many years never a problem. Something was not updated right. Please tell me how to fix this once and for all. if not I have to leave using firefox this is driving me crazy. terrible. In my experience with the TF2 Wiki page, clicking an audio file link would open a new tab where I can play the file. Since I've moved to firefox, I can no longer do this. Instead, the file downloads. Is there a way to change this? I saw in another post that you have to change the flag media.play-stand-alone to true but it was already true.

Hi there! I've been having problems with youtube not working in firefox lately. It's ONLY in firefox that it does this issue in, I've tried it in other browsers. Youtube tends to just....stop buffering in firefox for some reason? My internet connection is not the issue so I'm not sure what I could do to mess with it, I've done a fresh install of firefox, I've cleared cache and cookies. I'm genuinely at a loss.

It takes FOREVER for it to actually s tart up in the video too. The video plays fine until it just...stops buffering and takes 5-10 minutes to load. As mentioned before this is only an issue in firefox.

Hello, I Signed into and began using a New Firefox ACCOUNT Yesterday.Today,I found that I had forgotten that I formerly had a Mozilla account which is apparently still ACTIVE from 10/14/2021. I'm confused as to WHY it's called MOZILLA... Is it called Firefox or Mozilla for this Browser... and I don't want two Accounts... so I need to eliminate one. My iMac is Auto inserting My Password and I'm not familiar yet with whatever Browser I have, to locate a way to see the Password it signed me in on... ? the one I created yesterday... or the one that was created in 2021... So.. please tell me what the Browser is called today... Firefox or Mozilla... or Mozilla Firefox... ??? and I'll begin AGAIN... OR CAN YOU FIX THIS FOR ME WITH JUST ONE ACCOUNT, and I'll create another Password. My email has NOT CHANGED for either account... ey47ey@yahoo.com Please advise me how to establish my Account ASAP so I can continue my work. Even though I have browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled set on "false", private windows appear separate regardless and it is bothering me. I restarted my browser, logged out and then back in, toggled the setting on and off again, but the damn thing stays in this uncomfortable spot that would be awkward to explain as opposed to simply having it blend in with the other windows innocuously. How do I fix this?
