Need help figuring out why Firefox has a memory leak after an extended use of Firefox browsing. Don't know if its the result of an extension having this issue, or if its a Firefox bug. Hey there, I had two windows in firefox open, one of which had a lot of tabs. I was using firefox on my surface pro, and then got up to get a snack. I came back, and the window, which I had been using for some time, was gone. The other window was still open, and firefox had not been closed. I thought I would just open it up by restoring recently closed window, but it was gone. I routinely clear my history, but even tabs that I just had open 5 minutes ago are missing from my history, like I never opened them in the first place. What is going on?

I am trying to connect to a website but I keep getting error code 522. I've tried using Chrome and it connects to the website with no problem. I've checked my privacy settings and I do not have that website blocked. What else can I check?

Hi Friends.... This morning logged into my website as usual and this message appeared on the home page. I have not checked the link as it seems potentially malicious ... It does not appear when visiting my site on Safari. I have emptied the cache I have been through troupbleshooting mode I have reinstalled Firefox and it still is there..

Macbook pro 2017 OS 12.7 Firefox 125.03

All of a sudden, Firefox (125.0.3), running on Windows 11, is not delivering any sound at all on websites which have music or people speaking. The TOR browser does deliver the sound on those same websites.

Some months ago, Firefox stopped displaying the blue progress bar that would normally show once you clicked on the download icon. You still see the usual file info but now the progress bar of the download is gray instead of blue and is extremely hard to see. You have to look closely but in the first screenshot you can see where the shade of gray of the progress bar changes, just under the "6" of the "x86" part of the file name. But if you click on the "show all downloads" link, then the blue progress bar will show as usual for any in-progress downloads in the Library window, as shown in the second screenshot.

It isn't a huge issue but is still annoying when you just want to quickly see the progress of downloads in Firefox. I haven't changed any of the colors in Firefox or in Windows for that matter, I'm currently running Windows 10. All other dialog boxes, windows, etc. all display normally on my system. Just curious if anyone else is having this problem and hopefully a future update can take care of it.

I purchased a new computer, was finally able to download Firefox. When I go to use it, frigging Microsoft BING come up. How do I fix it? Thank you for your help. Susan

I can no longer login to my webmail account using firefox, but I CAN login using MS Edge. I obtained a new ISP and set up a new email account. I was able to access the webmail account for about a month with Firefox. Then a few days a age, it just stopped: When entering valid credentials, the login page just refreshes (without errors) and doesn't continue to the webmail inbox any longer. So I thought I'd try a different browser and I used MS Edge. The valid credentials get me into the webmail inbox using Edge, but no longer works in Firefox. Any ideas what happened?

I've had recent security issues and have had a couple actual breaches. Having two accounts so similar to one another caused some unnecessary confusion during a panicked burst of changing passwords. Can we merge them?

I can't find a way to disable tabs scrolling. This is highly confusing, I have to always look for my tabs and do extra clicks and scrolling. This is very distracting. Also those two buttons - "<" & ">" - they occupy extra space. The left one is especially annoying because I expect a "+ new tab" button to be there. I don' want to test/use this new experimental feature, how can I turn this off? Thank you.

The problem is that after I click "Sign In", that little circling line becomes the Energizer Bunny, circling away and circling away, but not logging me in.

I have no problem logging in using those login pages on Edge, so confident of username/password combo

I have (repeatedly) turned off tracking protection, Adblock Plus & Privacy Badger for the site, cleared history (cookies and cache, as well as all), followed the complete set of instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-login-issues-on-websites-require-passwords, and refreshed Firefox. Still the same problem.

HELP - I don't want to be forced to use Edge :)

I am autofilling an ELSA payment portal. Firefox autofills the payment information correctly. But the program will not recognize the autofilled information and doesn't let me process the payment. I then overwrite all my information and then it allows me to proceed with the payment. I have used the same procedure for years but as of this last week, the autofilled information is not recognized as I click the "Continue" button after the autofilled info is complete, and it won't work. The ELSA source (State of Wisconsin) person said it's a browser problem on my end. No. The online form autofills just fine. Can anyone help? Thanks. Jeff

I had issue with notifications (showed up but when i click on them they didnt were redirecting to original tweet) so i cleaned cookies after cleaning cookies i doesnt have option to turn on push notifications.

When I open the application it loads as a small window that I have to maximize to make it full screen. It never used to do this so I need some help to fix this. I've taken a quick look through settings etc and can't see anything wrong...

I am having an issue with Firefox and video playback, specifically on YouTube. When I play a video in default view mode, the playback is super choppy / low frame rate. When I change to theatre view or full screen, playback works perfectly.

I've tried incognito windows and troubleshooting mode with no improvement.

Microsoft Edge works fine.

Not sure where to go from here.

The attached photo shows the startup page that appeared today, yesterday that page had 12 of my most frequent websites loaded in place of the ones you see now. This page keeps changing on me and it's infuriating to have to remake it every few months.

What is going on??
