I've been using Firefox for the various iterations of Windows for many years and it's gone smoothly. Now, when I play a YouTube or Instagram video in Windows 11, the video often becomes just an image of pixelated multicolored squares. The sound continues to play normally. On YouTube, the video continues to play. On Instagram the video tends to freeze. I've attached a screenshot from an Instagram video.

I checked my external monitor and it's definitely the laptop, which is less than a year old. This only happens with videos and other browsing works as usual. I have no issue using Chrome, so it seems to be a Firefox thing. I tried clearing the cache and history. When that didn't work, I uninstalled Firefox completely and reinstalled it. Same issue. I've attached a screenshot from an Instagram video. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

When I'm on YouTube I can hear everything just fine. When I go to Chaturbate I have to turn the volume up to 100 and then I can only barely hear any audio. Can you help me fix this please? It might be something very basic that I'm missing, but how do I check volume settings for a specific website? Or is the problem something else? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you so much.

It's not that they are not in my Firefox downloads manager, which I expected. It's that I confirmed before closing my private browsing window that they were in my Downloads folder on my C drive, and when I went back after closing the private browsing window they were gone. Under "recent files" in my file browser it showed a couple of the most recent downloads and when I tried to click to open them it said they had been moved or deleted. Entering the first couple words of the file titles in the search bar in my file browser yields absolutely nothing.

This was over 30 files or so. It will be really irritating to try to find and download all of them again. Does anyone know of any way for me to get them back???

Whenever I try to watch a video, on any website, it pixelates so bad that it's just unwatchable. Do I have a setting wrong that could fix this? Watching the same video on different browsers (edge, chrome) works fine. I've attached an image to show what I'm getting. Occasionally, it will work just fine but if I pause the video to come back to it, it goes back to this at some point.

I'm running on windows 11 and Firefox Version 134.0.2 (64-bit)

I have disabled sponsored shortcuts in Firefox settings, and did this when I first set up my browser.

Today when launching my browser the first link in my shortcuts was to @Google which I specifically do not use. I do not use google search. I do not want google search. I do not want cookies or content from google.

Why was this sponsored shortcut pushed to my browser after I disabled sponsored shortcuts?

I've had FF for years and never had a problem. In the last week, when i read an email with a link (and other links), it says Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at clicks.aweber.com.

If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

As far as I know, I have not changed anything in settings. I'm looking for some resolution on how to fix this. Thanks.

For the past several months, I've had increasingly worse graphical errors on Google Drive. At first it was only in a few documents, and now it's in every single document. These errors only occur on Firefox, no other browser. Text that I type is constantly blurry, oddly-sized, or oddly-spaced, with some letters touching while others have large gaps between them. I've also had some other small issues, like the document thinking that I'm two people and asking me if I want to see "the changes made my collaborators" when I'm the one currently typing (the documents aren't shared with anyone else, and there are never any changes beyond the ones I make), or showing my cursor highlighted with my name as if I were someone else watching myself type. It's made it more difficult for me to focus on work and I don't know what to do about it.

I've tried the following methods (most of them multiple times over the past months) to solve it, none of which worked: - Running the windows in safe mode - Uninstalling all add-ons and themes, clearing cookies and cache, and then restarting my computer - Uninstalling Firefox entirely, restarting my computer, then reinstalling it - Refreshing Firefox - Looking through pages like Firefox Task Manager and such (although the information there didn't really mean much to me, nothing looked out of the ordinary)

Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do about this? I was ignoring it for a while since it's still legible, but it's become really annoying, especially when it makes some words hard to read. Thanks in advance for the consideration. Here's a screenshot of a document with the weirdly-spaced, blurry text:

For some reason I looked into whether my Firefoxes are ever using HTTP/3 - turns out they aren't. I looked up how to get any kind of information on this, and saved networking logs. They indicate that the moment Firefox tries to send the first UDP packet for the HTTP/3 connection, it gets "ErrorAccordingToNSPR [in=-5987 out=80004005]", the connection fails, and the server is added to an exclusion list so that no further (futile) attempts at using HTTP/3 will be made (which makes reattempting a HTTP/3 connection by hand that much harder). The initial platform was Windows 11, with Firefox 98.0.2, but afterwards I reproduced the issue on another PC running Windows 10, and with a nightly version on Windows 11, which I also used to save some logs which I can publish, as they don't reveal the sites I visit (though I can always provide the logs from my everyday instance of Firefox, should you find the information insufficient).

I also confirmed that HTTP/3 works with Chromium on the very same system and network, and also with Firefox on another machine running Linux.
