Hello, I just got a new macbook air because fluid was spilled on the previous one. The older laptop works but the display is not functioning. So I can't use the migration assistant, which requires responding to screen prompts, which in this case are not visible to me. I also just updated my password. Is there a way to recover this data?

When I updated my MacOS Sonoma to Version 14.6.1, I was unable to open the Firefox App.

When I click on the icon the dot below shows that its active, but no windows appear. I tried doing "Show all windows", but the screen just says "No Available Windows".

Since the last update (was executed today in my case 16-07-2024), firefox has been very slow and freezing and crashing. Also, somehow it is the only browser that can't handle yahoo finance new charts and keeps freezing....so many issues in a short span of time, please check. I have tried other browsers and things seem to work fine there, so, it is not my computer or OS.

I have many problems with Firefox for Windows 11. Unfortunately, it occupies a very high amount of cpu above 88% and memory above 700 MB with two or three open screens and has a very high battery consumption, consuming more than 41% of 100% battery in less than an hour. Also, I used it a lot in Windows 10 and it was not like this at all, and its automatic update was perfect in Windows 10, but it does not work in Windows 11. Firefox was once the most popular browser in the world, but then Mozilla started releasing updates every week and became disgusting. Now Mozilla has a tiny piece of the market, they have essentially lost almost everything, but they continue to shit with updates like diarrhea, which most users do not need and it's impossible to refuse the annoying, ugly constant reminder about updates. I'm not even talking about the fact that after a refusal to update to a new version, there is a forced update to a new version without permission. So, why doesn't this company learn from its mistakes and become at least a little smarter?

I know from visiting other forums that updates to Firefox have been released, but MSIX is not installing them - or even notifying me, much less asking if I want to install them. For example, Help > About Firefox shows that I am running V.129.0; yet I'm pretty sure that V.120.0.2 has been released.

Why? What can I do to ensure that I'm running the latest release?

I've restarted Firefox to see if that would work. It did not. I haven't rebooted to see if that works; but, even if it does, that seems to be a rather drastic effort to install a new version.
