I've been trying to do some research on this and I've tested a number of results (clearing cache/cookies, running on Safe/Troubleshoot mode) but I'm still getting this error. I have also done a complete reinstall of the Firefox browser

I don't have any issue logging into any of the Google applications (gmail, youtube, drive, etc) on Chrome or Edge on my Windows machine, and I don't have any issues on my Mac running firefox, this issue seems to be specific to my Windows 10 OS on firefox.

It also occasionally works, so it's really confusing trying to debug what's going on (it works randomly if I refresh enough.

I'm not sure if it's related, but Youtube occasionally has issues connecting as well with the following issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I would really prefer this to work properly, otherwise I might end up having to switch browsers since it greatly effects a lot of things.

Hi - I need some help restoring the 100+ open tabs that are in Computer1, and open them AS-IS in Computer2.

To help you understand my story......Computer1 is main machine, and I had over 100 tabs opened in there. I would like to transfer ALL of the open tabs to Computer2, before re-partitioning the C Drive in Computer1.

The problem is, my Computer1's Windows 10 is giving me problems at the moment, so I can not get into the computer by logging in. No recovery or diagnosis method will do the trick, so I will have to reinstall a fresh copy of Windows into Computer1. Besides, the computer was troubling me for having only ~50 MB available space in the C Drive (I have multiple partitions in my hard drive).

For now, I have removed the hard drive from Computer1, attached it in Computer2, and have access to the data in the various Computer1's drives.

I read many articles here in the Support Mozilla help site to restore the 100+ open tabs from Computer1, into Computer 2, but it is not working for me. I even tried copying the entire "sessionstore-backups" folder from Computer1's location, and replacing the same folder in Computer2's location.

Maybe I have to do more than just copying the "sessionstore-backups" folder, like do something additional through FireFox options??

Any help would be appreciated.

And here is the location of the "sessionstore-backups" folder in both computers:

While there are a lot of benefits of having the subtitles in the PiP mode/windows, it also brings a lot of issues too since it block the contents of the video. ( Yes. we can turn off the subtitle as needed). Wonder Firefox offer a solution where the subtitle is played in the original tab and the pop-out pip window can choose to show subtitle or not ? I updated to macos Monterey yesterday and I guess I guess I also my firefox updated to 102.0.1 (64-bit)... Anyway, I was very much used to have a white background in firefox's built-in pdf viewer when viewing pdfs that really have a white background (for example if you download it and check it with Adobe reader, or any reader other than the viewer built-in the browser).

Now the background color is gray, and it's not convenient for me at all. I could not find the magic setting that allow to changing this behaviour... I do not use themes, so I do not mind changing something there if needed.

Could any guru help here please ? That would be much appreciated.

I reinstalled Firefox and made sure that I had unticked the data and history boxes, and declined the search suggestions. Nevertheless, the first attempt at entering a search immediately called up millions of the things. At Chrome, I have learned a sequence of eight clicks, whereby I can, for just that one search, avoid those hideous suggestions. If I could have a no-click option at Firefox, I would stay here. Otherwise, can you tell me how to uninst... no, I can first have another look in Windows settings. Looked through the C drive, but I recall now there is an "uninstall programs" facility in Windows. So, if you are able to tell me how to switch off the suggestions, I will stay at Fireofox. If not, I won't. I can remember a Google (or Chrome) person talking on TV, about 15 yrs ago, about this new thing they had (search suggestions) that everyone would love. Four or five seconds into his talk, I knew that I hated it, and have never moved a millimeter away from that position.

i have had to reformat my imac and reload firefox how do i use the search box in the centre of my home page and not the one in the tool bar. every time i type in the box it transfers to the tool bar. my home page search box has no arrow or spy glass at the end of it how do i get it to work again

Attachments in Yahoo mail are from todays FF update, not showing and pages for past few weeks have just been hanging? Windows 10, the reply from Yahoo, switch browser. Been using FF for years and really dont want to learn a new system!

hi, have downloaded installer file several times with Firefox and i end up always needing to download from another browser to get it to work. The installer this specific time is xampp for windows. The download works well, the file goes to the right folder, but when i click on the installer, it leads to a new browser window (see pic1) and no matter what option i choose it never performs the installation. in the pic 2, u can see the applications options. I am really trying to give a shot at firefox but i always end up having to use another browser :-/. Thanks a lot for any help

When I download a file with several "." in name on the save box uses one of the words as extension instead of the real file extension.

Example:

When downloading the file "The.Talk.S12E187.720p.WEB.h264-DiRT.torrent" on the save box appears "The.Talk.S12E187.720p.WEB" with the extension "h264-DiRT" (Pic 1) I have to manualy change the extension type and name (Pic 2)

Tested in other broswers and work correctely.

Just (~20 minutes ago) updated 102.0.1 (64 bit) and now there are white bars across the bottom of each firefox window (see screenshots) except for support.mozilla.org or mozilla.org addresses. Any idea what is going on and/or how to fix it?

Hi! After update to 102.0.1 multiple uploading is not working. This case appears, if we try to upload a lot of files. For example, it works if we upload 70 files, but not working if upload 150 files. If we upload a lot of files firefox doesn`t send request to server. Houston, we have a problem...

When I try to open Outlook by using Firefox it does not. (Installed MS Office 365). When I use Microsoft Edge it does open so I can read the messages. I cleared the cache and it works the first time but when I try to access it again, it does not work. It just not upload the message.

I have 4 different AMD machines in a wired, Windows 7 Home network. One is a print server and has 2 Canon inkjet Printers. All machines can print to both printers from all applications except Firefox (Latest version). 1 client machine can print to both printers from Firefox, another can print to one printer and the last cannot print from Firefox at all.

I have varied the defaults and refreshed and re-installed Firefox but there is no change. The Saved Settings for printing have been cleared.

There a large number of "Modified print settings" on the machine that can print from Firefox to both printers. This setting is absent in the other machines.

Is there a way in which I can get all the 3 client machines to print from the web on both printers?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi, My two questions don't apply to the same situation, but each could be solved with one solution.

The first question concerns a situation when something breaks & a quick restore & resume is wanted. The second question is about how to abbreviate setting up a new portable Firefox browser.

Firefox Portable 102.01 Portable from PortableApps.com 1.) Can browser settings be backed up to a file and restored? 2.) Is there away to setup a Firefox Portable config by executing some type of file that isn't overly complicated?

Lately, I find myself playing around with multiple instances of Firefox portable and redoing the config is tiresome. I looked for were the settings might be contained, but there might be more than one place depending on the setting.

Since April 2022 intermittent failure to log in to Spectrum.net on Firefox. Last week intermittent went to full time. So far Spectrum unhelpful. Spectrum tells me they know there is a problem with many users having difficulty logging in on Firefox and that their technicians have been working on it since April.

Error message: "We’re sorry, we’re unable to sign you in. Please try again later. IDID-3210."

Several times I have also received IDID-3104 - I think that's right.

Spectrum provided an email only access which also fails on Firefox but works on Edge. Can now access full Spectrum website through Edge.

What I have already tried on Spectrum. DELETED: cookies loggins old bookmarks Spectrum passwords

Spectrum appears to forcing me to use any browser other than Firefox. I want to use Firefox. Hate Edge. Please help.

I updated by mistake to a newer version and lost all of my bookmarks, passwords, and user names. How do I get back? I've tried using the fixes listed to import my bookmarks, but I cannot get them to work

After receiving the Firefox update yesterday I can no longer get Youtube TV to work. The main site loads, along with video streaming in the main window of suggested channels, but when I select a given channel, the video won't load and the icon spins, only to return an error message after a few seconds.

Have cleared cookies and cache, restarted Firefox and my Win 10 machine. Works fine in Chrome and all other non-Windows devices. Any thoughts on what can be done? TIA.
