I subscribe to MarketSurge, a stock data platform. It has run reliably on Firefox until last week. When I enter a stock symbol it brings up this error, and does not give the requested stock data from the MarketSurge live data platform. "[Autosuggest API Error] Failed to load info for symbol 'TTMI' ".

Has anyone seen that error before? Does it suggest a conflict within Firefox?

I have tried many things to troubleshoot and find the cause within Firefox, its settings and variations, and with Win 10. Nothing resolved. However, executing the Marketsurge platform in Chrome does not have a problem.

Background & Details: 1) Win 10 pc. with current updates. Firefox browser with current updates. 2)Firefox cache, history, and browsing deleted. Standard protection setting off. 3)Vpn off.

I would be deeply grateful for any insights re:Firefox that might be causing this problem, which did not exist prior to last week.

Firefox runs some sites slows on one of my Windows 10 computers.

I'm running Firefox on 4 Windows PCs and 3 of the 4 work just fine using the same synced profile.

Fidelity.com and Amazon.com are 2 of the sites that are very slow to load. They will eventually load, but clicking on any links causes another slow load.

The same web sites are fast when I use MS Edge.

Troubleshooting steps I've taken (none of which have worked):

• Refreshed Firefox
• Created a new profile
• Uninstalled Firefox leaving my old profile
• Completely uninstalled Firefox and deleted my profile

Any thoughts on troubleshooting steps to take?

I have been with Mozilla since Netscape 1. Recently, I have been unable to add or delete a bookmark or folder. A number of previous bookmarks have lost their icons and their content. The Bookmark "Star" turns blue, indicating that it has been bookmarked. When I look for it in the designated folder it is not there. I try to edit garbled bookmark URLs by substituting the new URL - does not work. There are a number of folders for categories of bookmarks and I cannot delete them. What can be done?

Greetings. Have Windows 11 Home . I have noticed in the last month that when I click on the star that Firefox is not saving my bookmarks. I have searched online for resolution to this problem to no avail. I am up to date on my version of Firefox . Could someone please provide the steps necessary to get this feature back. This has happened randomly on several different computers, both windows and ubuntu linux. It just now happened on my Win 11 computer. Was viewing the CNN news site and FF suddenly closed, without a "FF crashed..." message.When I clicked the icon to reopen it, it came up with the home page group of tabs instead of reopening the windows and tabs that were opened when it crashed. Worse, none of the previous months of history shows up and recently closed tabs and windows are both greyed out.

Is there a way of recovering the history of what I was working on at the time of the crash and what the hell is causing this? I am close to dumping FF and going with something else as this is highly annoying.

help me restore my open windows. this has also happened a couple times before and its very frustrating when i have tabs open to read/refer to later or am in the process of reading and then i have to try and find them all again.

Randomly my firefix just get loggedout and when i immediately logged it in again using mozilla i cant see my bookmarks my other accounts my profiles and all my groups and other information it was like i had made a fresh account all my data is lost what to do ? Firefox is not able to log into Amazon, while Edge is OK, I know that a lot of Windows 10 updates have been installed of late plus other changes I am unable to work out whats wrong .......Help

Hey there since a week when I brows with Firefox on Windows desktop the RAM uses jumped from around 60% spiked to 92-95% RAM and that changed just come a long a week ago. If change brows like Chrome different story, back down at 65. So you can also see a massive number on Firefox system running.

Question: Whats the reason for the change? What happend?

two days ago, video embeds on Twitter stopped working in Firefox. Please help me troubleshoot the issue, so that I can either fix it myself, or present enough evidence to file a proper bug report.

Affected version: FF 140 ESR. I had some 140.7 installed when the error first happened, but have upgraded to firefox-esr_140.10.1esr-1_amd64 since. Didn't fix the problem. *Not* a snap package, regular .deb!

Affected OS: Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, not a fresh install but upgraded from 24.04 instead (which itself was upgraded from 22.04).

Symptoms: Videos on X (and Facebook) no longer play, the preview image is there for a split second, then an error appears. Video on for example Youtube is fine, though. Local players like VLC also do work as expected. Video on X worked under 26.04 before this happened.

The issue likely started when removing surplus packages and metapackages from the upgrade.
