I have my search engine set to Duck Duck Go. Fairly often, it changes to Google or eBay without my asking it to. How can I keep this from happening? I'd like to lock my settings?

I am on a newer desktop iMac. I only use Firefox. Google is my default. And yet.. Nowhere on my right click contextual menu is there a "Google Lens" option! According to the article on the Firefox home page, just having Google as your default search engine will give you that option on the right click menu. It does not exist, as you can see in the attached screenshot. If I am missing a step, I'd love to know what it is.

I'm switching from Google Chrome to Firefox. I have completed everything and the computer is telling me that Mozilla Firefox is know my my default. However, The Mozilla screen that comes up when I start does not appear to be customizable and the search bar shows the "G" Goggle icon and says "search on google". Am I doing something wrong?

When I open Firefox for the first time or on a new window the cursor automatically is in the address bar. I prefer to have the cursor to default into the search box. I don't want to search with the address bar. It did not used to be this way on my old laptop.

Nur beim ersten Mal wenn Firefox nach dem Start geöffnet worden ist und wenn man in die Suchleiste mit der linken Maustaste klickt tippt firefox automatisch unendlich viele "Bindestriche". Dieser Vorgang kann nur durch Drücken der esc-Taste gestoppt werden. Danach ist ein Klick in die Suchleiste mit der linken Maustaste und eine ganz normale Eingabe möglich. Wie kann der Fehler behoben werden?

Why can't I choose a search engine that is not one of the top ones. Since the new administration took over the white house, so many large companies are moving to the far right. I just want to search outside of the main stream billionaire run systems. They aren't standing up for me I refuse to use their products.

I have used Firefox for years and when searching then Google was automatically the default. The last month or 2 when I am using search, it is defaulting to Yahoo. Why did this happen and how do I change it back to defaulting to Google? Thank you.

After I upgraded to v137 and now on v138 I do not have the new search enhancements made to the address bar. Only a new profile will get me the enhancements. I'd rather not have to create a new profile and add all my changes and add-ons all over again. It's a real PITA. Is there any 'trick' I can try to get the new enhancements?

Everytime i highlight a word and right click it to "search google for" it switches to that new tab. This only started happening for the past two weeks. I already changed browser.search.context.loadInBackground to true in the config.

Also noticed this does not happen in private mode, but it does happen in troubleshoot mode.

Is there any way to change that? Thanks

I open Firefox and the search box has defaulted to EBAY. How do I change it to Duck Duck or something else ? There's no down arrow by the seach box to change and no instructions in your help. It's too hard to find the answer. Thanks!
