Everyday I get pop ups usually for car parts, all for ICE cars and I have an EV these days . . . . . Please stop sending them. Is that possible? Regards, [edited email from community support forum]

My blog has started displaying the message, "Firefox can't open this page". The message also says, "To protect your security, accounts.google.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window." But opening it in a new window didn't work. I tried clearing the cache, and pasting the link into a new open tab, but neither helps. I tried opening it in Safari, and that works fine, so this seems to be a Firefox problem. Any suggestion?

I am sick and tired of Firefox denying me access to common store websites. How do I turn off your firewall? I want to shop on Lowes.com and I cannot get access. Firefox is proving recently to be more of a problem than an asset.

I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again? As creator of retroonline.net. We recently noticed Firefox have limited value size in IDB which Chrome and Edge do not have. This limitation prevents big games running on Firefox despite Firefox has the best performance on WASM. Will there be a proper way to change this limitation or plan to remove it?

I keep getting pop-ups in the right lower corner from "mozilla firefox" (not sure if they are legit). They will say: "zeus.2020 trojan detected" or "virus detected" or "system is infected", etc. All have "Mozilla Firefox" in the upper left of the pop-up, and "via rgfirewall.xyz" at the bottom. Is this truly legit, or is it just a nuisance? I've just been closing them with the x or dismiss buttons.

Hi, Firstly I apologize because I'm not very tech savvy. My firefox browser has been taking ages to load. I've tried various 'fixes' over the last week or so and they don't work for long. I'm going down the 'try this' list and am at the 'clear junk in manage data' suggestion. Someone else had success with getting rid of a load of youtube saved junk. I'm in the Cookie and Site Data area, it says it's using 793mb of disc space yet when I tap on 'manage data' to try and clear stuff that area shows up as empty. I've searched but can't locate how to fix this issue. Or I might be missing something completely obvious. :/

My memory, and health, is not great so if possible I really don't want to resort to clearing everything and having to re-add log ins etc.

Does anyone know how to fix this please?

Firefox 125.0.1 update breaks all self signed certificates

After the latest auto update I can no longer access any of my management screens on my private network with self signed certificates. This is a real problem. I have attached a couple error screen grabs, but ALL of themn are the same. The information link says there is no workaround!

So how do I recover access? Chrome works just fine ... so it is def. a Firefox problem.

Suddenly getting endless warnings from Mozilla/Firefox (with McAfee-like logo) warning of major virus contamination of laptop. "Click to delete immediately" has no effect. Suggestion to run McAfee scan show 5 major problems but McAfee profile says account paid thru August and no breaches in last four years. Says too soon to renew. How can I clear the problem if there really is one? D.

I just learnt that the mozilla firefox terms of service have been either updated, or previously included, a clause of sorts that states that any content uploaded to mozzilla is automatically given a royalty free worldwide license to mozilla itself. Does this apply to content such as add-ons only or does it apply to things uploaded to other websites(such as social media, forums, etc)

Hi I have been using firefox on linux for a while without updating it. We are artsellers and I used to be able to log in and out of an artplatform without any problems. It's now been a few weeks since logging out is not possible any more on this platform which means that I am constantly logged in which I really do not want. The menu does not work anymore on this side whereas it works with other browers. I already contacted the platform. They cannot do anything about it themselves and asked me to contact your team. Having tried all pointers to how to display this data, I give up and present my case here: In a banking app, the login field is blank and requires me to enter the correct Login ID. This works fine. However, if I double click on that field, an option is displayed, happening to be my email address, which will not work in this case; a numeric value is required.

So, knowing a prompt is enabled, I have entirely failed to get 'it' to save the correct ID. I have also find a place in Firefox settings where I can see and modify the value that comes up. I do however remember doing exactly that for some other site.

So, as I have said, I cannot find this in the Passwords nor the Settings pages. What am I missing?

Help would be much appreciated.

bsky.app cookie continues to be loaded on computer even after I continually delete it, privacy set to strict and blocked under "managed exceptions, why is it being reloaded when I don't access the site. None of the sites I access are linked to it, only visited once and if this alternative to x continues to set cookies, how can I permanently block it, thought the exceptions list was supposed to keep blocking it. So far it's come back three times, I'll screenshot it next time and attach.

I don't want to use passkeys, and it seems that every site is checking browser support and wasting my time with passkey prompts before allowing me to log in with a password. How do I disable passkey support in Firefox?

My FF version 126.0.1 browser history file size is stuck at 10,240 KB. Until recently it was 54,000 KB and change. I would like to get it larger. I've tried all the recent help postings relating to places.history.expiration.max_pages, places.history.expiration.transient_current_max_pages, browser.history_expire_days, browser.sessionhistory.max_entries or browser.sessionhistory_max_entries, and so on. Nothing seems to be able to change the "places" file size. Anyone have any more info on this topic?

Attempting to upgrade and recommission an old HP laptop not used in several years. Currently running Firefox Version 41.0.1

Any queries to legitimate websites such as Google or Mozilla, return a "This Connection is Untrusted" display screen. Firefox security settings have been changed to lowest security, and problem persists.

It isn't that Firefox isn't reaching the websites... it's that some security setting recognizing the security certificates (like Mozilla's) is broken... and I can't get past it... even to be able to download a new browser version.
