Recently I have issues in Zoom meetings. To make browsing a bit more private I went and activated some of the settings from privacytools.io, but I can't remember changing privacy settings before the problems started occuring. On the Firefox Beta channel I don't see any video streams (not even my own) and on the nightly channel I hear others audio speed up and they sound like mice and they here me extemely slow.

Does anyone else have these issues or an idea which settings might cause this?

I get a email from a web site that I have to log into on a regular basis.They are telling me starting today the web site will require TLS 1.2. I went to https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html to check like the web site informed me to do so. Click on Continue

Once the page completes the test, scroll down to the Protocol Features section. If Yes is displayed next to TLS 1.2, your browser will continue to work as it currently does with Talent Suite applications.

Mine shows 1.3 yes but not 1.2. I look it up 1.3 is not backwards compatible. So I changed the security.tls.version.max to 3 now everything for the TLS shows no when I run test I am lost

As per topic title, while downloading files from my university website for class and switching back to a youtube page, I got the strange popup "Would you like to make this document your home page?" I selected no, but I would like to know if this is merely something that can happen at random with Firefox, or potential malware or the like.

Is there an option or extension that I haven't found which would automatically delete browsing history items after existing for a certain time period (e.g. 1 day, 2 weeks, 1 month, etc.)? If not, could one be created?

Hi, is possible in Firefox to use biometrics (e.g fingerprint) to unlock your passwords in Lockwise or use it for login, etc.? Or it's planned in some next releases? (on Windows 10)

The Network ID found in "about:networking#networkid" shows a numerical, alpha value that appears to be constant on a particular workstation. How is this value used ? it appears to identify a specific workstation.

I'm new to Firefox. I have a Facebook account which I have no issues with when using in Opera. But when I try to sign in to FB on Firefox it doesn't recognise my password. So I changed it yet it still isn't recognised. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, martin.

I don't WANT exceptions! Behavioral ad targeting is exactly what I'm trying to avoid. I don't want Google shaping my searches and influencing my opinions by "telling me what I want to hear"...it thinks! Total Cookie Protection sounded exciting until I read this. How do we force it to work "without automatic exceptions"?

I was excited about this new feature because it might allow me to stay logged in to sites like Google and Amazon without their infamous tracking and search-shaping. If not this setting is pretty useless.

I don't use the the other browser because they track. I use firefox and duck duck go. Why are you now defaulting my start page to bing? This is my computer. I will configure it the way I want. I have been using program for 15 or so years. Now you are starting to act like the other companies. Do I have to find another browser, that respects my choices?

I am trying to enable 2FA on my Firefox account using Authy. I just did it with FB, Twitter, Gmail, Outlook and OKTA and they all worked. However the code generated by Authy is not being accepted by Firefox so that I can enable 2FA. I have verifed that my timezone is correct (-4, no daylight savings) and that the time matches up exactly. Obviously since i was successful with the others, the issue does not exist on my side. Any help?

The manage exception is grayed out and not avaialbe for inputting the name of certain websites to be an exception. following is the screen I get with grayed out areas. How can I enable this window to accept my typing a web address for exception of tracking protection?

When I bring up the Bitwarden password manager, my Bitwarden master password is (incorrectly) filled in. This should not be filled in at all. When I go to about:logins, there no Bitwarden entry to remove. With every use of Bitwarden I have to delete the wrong entry. How can I remove that Lockwise entry?

This is not a question, more like a complaint, and DDG sent me here. The word complaint may seem inappropriate for sth like a browser which is the result of thousands of work hours of volunteers. Right? Thanks for that hard work, much respected!

Now, I did see that this very subject has already thousands of filed complaints, which naturally means that millions of people are annoyed about the very same thing, one that Firefox introduced some years ago. Fewer than few people even bother to write in, you know that. Because they feel, it's wasted time, "they do anyway what THEY want".

So: What is going on in the minds of "software programmers"/developers... since around the 90ies? Why always this PATRONIZING? I will add a screenshot here, so that YOU understand, this time. It documents that these "sw developers" leave NO option at all, even after you click this equally ridiculous "Advanced" button, to open a site YOU want. You as the owner of the computer you are using!

I would never use Chrome, the sniffer of everything. I am sad that Firefox introduces gimmicks all the time, but fails to listen to its user base. What THEY want.

And if you don't want to listen to what the users want, then why do you bother to write code for others? Just write for yourself then. Think. Amen. :)

Trying to debug. Firefox breaks my site, and if I change the Tracking Protection to Strict, my site doesn't work at all. So it must be in this no tracking area.

But I cannot enter exceptions in the tracking window, that window is not live. See attached. Why I cannot enter/type site URLs in this window?

After reading on the new update with Firefox 86, it seems that you have made some really good changes on the way cookies are handled forcing each site to keep their cookie separate from everyone else.

So is the Is the multi account containers still useful in Firefox 86 if what I'm using them for is to keep from being tracked?

It seems that they would be useful if I wanted to open several different Gmail accounts at the same time from within their respective folders.
