Currently, I use Firefox version: 116.0.2 on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS.

I encountered a phenomenon like this:

• When I logged in to the application, in the tab I was working on, the Firefox session memory was lost (don't open new tabs)

What is the cause of this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

Whenever I get a link whether in an email from a verified sender or from using a site like Amazon, clicking on a link always results in "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site." This has happened ever since loading the most recent version of Firefox (124.0.2) and it is very, very frustrating. What is causing this? Even in "safe" mode this occurs. Please rectify this situation. I do not want to have to change browsers after more than 20 years with Firefox.

On the page listing passwords, it was possible to sort them by "Alerts".

In settings, there is an option to enable checking the vulnerable passwords: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-password-manager-alerts-breached-websites

On my other laptop using Firefox v121, the alerts are properly displayed. But on my second laptop using Firefox v124, the alerts are gone. I can't sort password by "Alerts", the option isn't there. Both laptops share the same Firefox account and have password synchronized between each other.

Obviously, I ticked the "Show alerts about passwords for breached websites" box in the settings but it looks like it does not nothing. I also checked in "about:config" and everything seems good.

Is this feature gone?

Hello, I just got a new laptop with windows 11. I just did the latest update to Firefox. Everything is a little large but an internet search addresses these: BUT.... The 'bookmark this page', the star in the URL line, menu is small and the fonts are micro. Zooming or changing fonts in the hamburger menu doesn't correct this. Attached. Thank you.

Szukałam takiego czegoś w ustawieniach i firefox support, ale nie znalazłam nic co by pomogło w wyłączeniu blokady reklam. Czy mógłby mi ktoś pomóc i pokierować jak mogłabym wyłączyć blokadę reklam? Jeśli tak, byłabym wdzięczna.

My Firefox recently updated to version 124.0.2. Afterwards my taskbar shortcut broke, so I pinned a new one manually (right-clicked Firefox in start menu > open file location.) When I opened Firefox it had reset the primary profile to be default, so I changed it back to my BetterFox profile. Since then I've run into several oddities, such as Firefox crashing when it's running in the background, getting an error saying "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window," when I try to open it, invisible shortcuts in my taskbar(see image) and my bookmark visibility resetting from always to only in new tab every time I start up Firefox. Please help me.

I'm unable to load any web pages since receiving an update 4-17-24 on Windows 11. It doesn't seem likely I'll be able to get another update to fix this via the browser. What do I do? Uninstall?

Hello, I'm using samsung odyssey g7 32' monitor connected to my laptop with a rtx 2060. The monitor is connected with a minidisplay port to display port cable. The problem doesn't occur on the laptop screen but it does on the samsung screen. The flickering stops when i make the window a little smaller. I am using KDE plasma 6.0.3 but the problem was also present when i was using Hyprland as my desktop enviroment. I tried troubleshoot mode but nothing changed. I am seeking help. Thanks.

We have an application where we do not want to share the session cookies between tabs. Is this possible? If above answer is yes, next we would like to filter out some cookies by name that should not be shared across tabs. Meaning, we want some cookies that can be shared across tabs and some should not be shared.

Hi, I did a clean install from win10 to win11, then installed firefox and logged in to my account but it havent synced anything? All my saved passwords and bookmarks are gone!?

Can someone please help me get them back! Does anyone have a solution for this?

Read something about that a backup is saved on your computer? Isnt saved to a cloud? Thats what a thought! I have done a clean install on a new drive, old drive i already wiped aswell! Doesnt have a windows.old dir or anything.

Please tell me everything isnt lost!

latest 124.0.2 causing severe problems, it will near instantly bloat to fill all RAM and SWAP even in safe mode causes system load over 24! only solution is to reboot very problematic on for ex: https://epg.pw/xmltv/epg_CA.xml hard to get a screencap since system is nearly totally unresponsive. RAM is ok SSD is ok MX Linux is ok

The RAM usage increases, from 1GB to 40GB+ within a matter of minutes of starting Firefox. I have not added any extensions in months. I turned of several with no improvement. I have 6 tabs opened. Firefox has crashed several times the past couple fo months. I have been away on travel for 2 weeks, and today the problem is much worse.

Firefox (37916) 51GB, Extensions (34308) 370MB, GPU (33072) 298MB , and everything else < 100 MB.

I really love Firefox - use across my 4 devices. Only on my desktop am I seeing this. Laptop, iPad, and Android all work fine. Running Win 11

When I click on a link it opens in a new window with all the tabs ready opened.

How do I open a tab without opening a new window?

Also, how do I set Yahoo.com as my default search engine?
