I have been watching YouTube for years, issue free. This week I was blocked, as my computer may be blocking ads and thus violating You Tubes policy. How can I find and disable ad block programs/ extensions, thus allowing me to get back on You tube. I can recognize an outright program, but do not knew if extensions are in play that are not obvious to me. THANKS

This limitation prevents big games running on Firefox despite Firefox has the best performance on WASM. Will there be a proper way to change this limitation or plan to remove it?

I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again? Hi I am a long time user of firefox because i love its customization and tools available to help me with my work and personal life. Recently i have been ordered to remove Firefox from the company laptop as it was deemed insecure by the IT and security department. I have been told to use MS edge and Google's Chrome. Their reasoning is "An inconsistent comparator in xslt/txNodeSorter could have resulted in potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access. Only affected version 122 and later. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 136 and Firefox ESR < 128.8." I do not know what this means. Is there something i can tell my IT department to argue against the directive to only use either Edge or Chrome. Best regards, F Silva

Any queries to legitimate websites such as Google or Mozilla, return a "This Connection is Untrusted" display screen. Firefox security settings have been changed to lowest security, and problem persists.
It isn't that Firefox isn't reaching the websites... it's that some security setting recognizing the security certificates (like Mozilla's) is broken... and I can't get past it... even to be able to download a new browser version.

Is there a way to turn off tracking URL fragment insertion from the release notes page when clicking "What's New" in the Firefox update modal?
When I click "What's New" in this modal (see Screenshot 1), it loads the release notes page for my current version (although it really should load the release notes page for the version it wants me to upgrade to, but that's another issue altogether), and inserts a bunch of tracking URI fragments onto the URL (see Screenshot 2).
Is there a way (in Settings, about:config, Windows Registry, etc.) to disable that fragment insertion?

Hello,
I like using Firefox browser every day. After installing and running Avast antivirus protection (program version : 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.832)), Avast notification always show this message every time I start up Firefox : please check the uploaded images : FPA Scam.jpg.
I already checked the extenstion, the Settings, and the Advance Settings of Firefox browser. I'd like to know if there is any parameter related to engine.forexpeacearmy.com and it is enabled. Unfortunately, I can't found any related parameters.
So, I decide to contact Firefox support to find out what happen to my Firefox browser, why it always call the forexpeacearmy site at the start up, and finally I want to remove it. Because I'm affraid it could be some kind of trojans / malwares and put my laptop into risks.
Kindly need your advise. Thank you.
Kind regards, Gideon

Firefox 125.0.1 update breaks all self signed certificates
After the latest auto update I can no longer access any of my management screens on my private network with self signed certificates. This is a real problem. I have attached a couple error screen grabs, but ALL of themn are the same. The information link says there is no workaround!
So how do I recover access? Chrome works just fine ... so it is def. a Firefox problem.

This is an incredibly bad user experience and to my knowledge illegal in the EU.
I'm probably still within that journey but the journey should terminate the moment I clicked unsubscribed.

I have appreciated Firefox for many years, so long in fact that I no longer have access to the email address that I signed up with. I have had no reason to access my account so I did not realise that it was out of date. I was accessing my account to check that I had two-factor protection and since I could not access the account I decided to create a new account and used the help pages to move my profile to the new account. I was able move my profile and access all my bookmarks and PASSWORDS! I simply uninstalled Firefox, moved my profile to another location, downloaded Firefox and copied the old profile over the newly created profile. I opened Firefox and could open the password manager and see all my passwords. I could not believe how easily I could access all the sensitive information. I needed no password - just access to the profile. This profile will be saved on any computer that I have used to log into Firefox. Anyone with access to those computers could easily repeat what I was able to do. This is a serious secuirty flaw and I simply can't believe I was able to do this!!!!!

I tried posting this before but didn't receive a response. How do stop: https://masbay.z10.web.core.windows.net/werrx01USAHTML/?bcda=1-808-232-xxxx# from popping up on screen? I've tried every program I could think of ... malwarebytes, antivirus programs, rootkit removal programs, quick scanners, etc. I uninstalled FireFox and reinstalled it. Every time I think it's resolved, it comes back. And I notice it's always popping up in FireFox. Any suggestions? Thanks. Dave
